Unfortunately, I believe the answer to both of your questions is no. Unless you mean the lockscreen wallpaper, then its under settings -> lockscreen, but as far as the home screen, its either white, or black.
And btw , Is it possible to disable the search button on htc hd7? Its so annoying.

+1 about the background not being changeable...yet. But the system is second to none for rotation speed and efficiency, allowing for the quick portrait mode for accessing the address bar. It shouldn't be a problem if you are wiling to accept it. On other systems, yes, it would be a serious issue. But with WP7, the speed of rotation and efficiency of it all...not an issue in the least for those willing to accept it.

I agree with Marty about the address bar, honestly, it would probably take up screen space... And no, can't disable buttons...

Is it possible to make a transparent bottom lock screen slider?
have tried to search the forums but the only one i found was one with a black frame around it. i just want the slider button, in transparent. and if possible, without the "slide" text under it and without the lock inside the button.
have this been done yet or is it possible to make one?

Hello All,
Just wondering if the request above is possible?
To clarify, I was wondering if it was possible to have a slider on the lock screen to turn on / off Bluetooth / Wifi, rather than unlocking the device then using an app or comm manager to switch it on/off and then locking the phone again etc.
Maybe it can be something that can be added to Cookies Home Tab Options?

If I had to guess (and I do, as it seems to not be a "standard" Android icon), I'd be willing to bet its Rotation (or orientation) lock. Meaning, that the phone will stay in whatever orientation its locked to (portrait or landscape) no matter what position the phone is put in.

I have a custom background on the lock screen, home screen, and stock messaging screen (the one with the chat bubbles).
However, within the phone's setting menu the theme wallpaper is being used.
Honestly, I'm starting to feel like the option to change that background is right under my nose. I. Just. Can't. See. It!
Please help me.

You can't not change the settings background without theme or a root mod...in other words it's not a setting within stock settings
Ugh. That's unfortunate. Especially with some themes putting discordant backgrounds in the settings menu. Such an awful tease.
Do you know how if it's possible to make our own themes?

Are you using a Pixel 7?
Your best bet for fixing the flashlight issue is to probably install a Pixel Launcher, stock or modded and customize your At A Glance settings. As for the lock screen weather, not so sure you can turn that one off.

I installed the standard pixel, turned off everything that was possible, the flashlight disappeared, but I can’t remove the date and weather. phone pixel 7 pro
Home Settings >> At a Glance >> See more features >> Disable Weather.
Unfortunately, I am not sure how to remove the date. My apologies there.

It was the same on my 4XL. It's nuts that they put that on the homescreen. Every morning when I turn the phone on, I have to swipe left to get to the homescreen I want to use. I don't want to root, or change the launcher. Back in the day, I was able to choose the homescreen page I wanted.
