Hello All,
Just wondering if the request above is possible?
To clarify, I was wondering if it was possible to have a slider on the lock screen to turn on / off Bluetooth / Wifi, rather than unlocking the device then using an app or comm manager to switch it on/off and then locking the phone again etc.
Maybe it can be something that can be added to Cookies Home Tab Options?
Cheers in advance
Great idea!Vote 4!Best on perfectly Co0kies Home Tab
Any thoughts....?
Hi Just wondering if anyone actually thinks this maybe possible? I'll PM cookies developers directly and see what they think?

Hey guys, is there a cab to move the lock screen to the bottom of the screen instead of the top?
I tried to install swipe to unlock, but when i unlocked it with this app, it went back to the lock screen.
So i was wondering of there was a stand alone cab for this?
Thanks guys

just tried this one and it looks and works good
Working great on my HD2. Cheers
Hi, very nice, but is there a slider which does not work only the horizontal way?
I think it would be a lot better if the slider was some sort of an arc which follows the natural movement of the right (or left) hands thumb!?
Is there something available?
Great app!
Works fine with my HTC HD2.
Thanks a lot, finally I can answer my phone onehanded!
thanks! i've tried and it works so far! many thanks!
Its working on my HD2 (Singapore SingTel set)... Thanks!!!
I'm not using swipe to unlock, is there a version where I can just get the lock button to the bottom but standby button retains locking functionality?
Edit: Ignore me, Thought I couldn't lock anymore. =p
I also got some Lockscreen at the Bottom with a cab for the original one.

AFAIK, if it's a cab, it can be uninstalled. I installed the Center slider cab. The other one seems to be to revert back tot he original Leo. If uninstalling doesn't fix things, install that original cab.

LOL!!!
No it don't mate. It doesn't do that at all. Files do not slow down "the phones processor"
Anyway, save them in the "my documents" folder on the storage card. That should work. If it don't, save them on the phone in "my documents". It REALLY doesn't have a detrimental effect on the phone's performance at all.
Just installed the .cab, but nothing happens? Are you ameant to be doing anything else to change it?
Edit: Seems like I needed to restart it, as it worked when I turned it back on. Didn't like it so reinstalled the orginal one.
1.Can I change the background to a picture of my choice? If I can then please tell me how to.

Unfortunately, I believe the answer to both of your questions is no. Unless you mean the lockscreen wallpaper, then its under settings -> lockscreen, but as far as the home screen, its either white, or black.
And btw , Is it possible to disable the search button on htc hd7? Its so annoying.

+1 about the background not being changeable...yet. But the system is second to none for rotation speed and efficiency, allowing for the quick portrait mode for accessing the address bar. It shouldn't be a problem if you are wiling to accept it. On other systems, yes, it would be a serious issue. But with WP7, the speed of rotation and efficiency of it all...not an issue in the least for those willing to accept it.

I agree with Marty about the address bar, honestly, it would probably take up screen space... And no, can't disable buttons...

Hi im new to the site and I was wondering if anyone could help, I've searched for an app that allows me to use my screento take a picture as my button is broke. When I press it the lines on the camera screen go green a d it bleeps but doesn't take the picture so I can only assume the buttons had it. If anyone could help me on this matter I'd really appreciate it!

Does anyone know of a way to provide a shortcut for direct access to the SK4G hotspot setup? There doesn't appear to be a shortcut available in the jump key configuration, and I haven't been able to find an app that does it. I would like to make it easier for my gf to turn the hotspot on/off so she's more comfortable getting rid of her CLEAR USB adapter. I really can't recommend that she leave it on all the time due to the battery comsumption by that feature.

Not sure what launcher she uses, but you could do this in Launcher Pro with:
Create>Shortcut>Activites>Settings>Settings (com.android.settings.wifi.WifiApSettings), that'll give a shortcut to the settings screen for the Mobile AP

Thanks for that, but I'm trying to keep it simple and not make too many changes to her phone. Does anyone know a way to do it with the stock SK4G configuration? One of the strengths of this device is that it does so much without rooting and adding a lot of apps.
ramjet73
have you tried downloading Hotspot Widget from the market? you can place it on one of her homescreens and turn Mobile AP on and off that way, it's about as simple as it gets, just one on/off button

Hi,
I'm running a stock rom from an HK phone and there's a new icon in the notification bar i have never seen.
www[dot]monsterup.com/upload/1334936579149.png
(I'm new so i can't add the picture)
Does someone know what app is that or what does it mean ?
Thank you.
Unfortunately, it looks like your link isn't working.
Ah yes, you must add WWW to the link.
Hmm, interesting.
If I had to guess (and I do, as it seems to not be a "standard" Android icon), I'd be willing to bet its Rotation (or orientation) lock. Meaning, that the phone will stay in whatever orientation its locked to (portrait or landscape) no matter what position the phone is put in.
Oh yes ! You are right !
Ahah, with another phone, there wasn't this icon.
Thank you very much Ninmeister.
