Way too go XDA community. You guys and girls never seem to disappoint.

Hmmmmmm.......curious. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Very exciting!

Hmmm, I would love to see at least the dialer working on Cyanogen.
The ASOP dialer sucks, it has no search options.
Camera would be nice too, the auto-focus on ASOP isn't as good.

haha i was about to post this up i guess i was too late

so sick....

Bad A$$!!!

This is a Sense Build so I don't think you will be able to use the Dialer & Camera with Cyanogen.
Sorry.

Has anyone tried this yet?

You should probably put in big bold red letters to not flash this.

I think this text "PLEASE DO NOT FLASH THIS TO YOUR EVO!!!" should be larger.
On second thought, maybe not... could use a few laughs.
@OP Pretty neat leak, thanks.

Yea...It does state that it is for the HTC Huashan. If people flash it, we can all have a good laugh.
Common sense is a must for my posts lol

Wow this will maybe be the best rom if completed

Thanks for posting this
Looks like some folks need to get busy porting this ehh?

how to enable hsupa on white nam 3g nexus s?

not too happy with this... here is a screen that may help:
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
network type says hsdpa (it should say hspa, right?).if i have to root, i'm ok with that (it'd be my first time, though) but these > 200 kbps uploads have got to come to an end. if there's a tutorial for this, i would appreciate it GREATLY if someone could point me to it? thanks so very much!
eric b
Hspa? Nexus s is only capable of hsdpa speeds (7.2mb). If you're talking about upload speeds then.
What carrier are you using? Update your radio to KB3
Sent from my Nexus S using Tapatalk
hspa is high speed packet access, which is to say it's both hsdpa and hsupa at the same time. i'm on at+t, and i'll have a look into that radio. thanks a lot!
eric b
you have to edit your build.prop to enable the higher upload speeds above 384Kbps. just set hsxpa=3 in the build prop file, and you're good to go. you should see around 1Mbps to 1.5Mbps upload.
all right... i've opened the build.prop file in text editor, but i don't see hsxpa anywhere to change the value. am i missing something, or do i just enter that line in? and if so, does it matter where? thanks in advance.
eric b

ugh, looks like i need to use the recovery for an i9023 now? this is turning out to be a major headache... and a lesson learned.
eric b
i believe if its not in your build prop, you just add that line you need to the end of your file. not sure about custom recoveries you mentioned, that shouldnt be needed. just search out the build prop edits, and add that line to yours.

nice,i hope the SBF will be out soon..love the nordic speed but i want BLUR.
added the SBF file.
argh, same version number as debur one (177-005)... will confuse more than one for cm7 ^^
and also almost the same kernel version number... which was 2.6.32.9-ga28fcc4[email protected] #1
Differences in SBF with 177-005 :
only CG35, CG39, CG47
so its possible to flash only the new kernel and recovery
here is the new kernel+recovery sbf (bootonly) : http://defy.tanguy.tk/sbf/
Tested ok on CM7 (my original SBF was the 177-005)
Linux version 2.6.32.9-ga28fcc4 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.0 (GCC) ) #1 PREEMPT Fri Apr 1 16:08:01 CST 2011
this kernel is older than the 177-005 (6 Apr) but may have different features...

Depends if you want to have blur or facebook contacts integration. For CM7 base I think the blurless would be better.

[GUIDE] How To Port LewaOS To Your Device | 2 Minute NOOBS Guide

Hey Folks !
I am going to show you one of the easiest way to port LewaOS To Your Device, which will hardly take 2 minutes.
PREREQUISITES :
adb- This will help you out in deadly conditions
winRAR - For opening zip files
Notepad++ - For editing text
ROMS YOU WILL NEED :
Base ROM : CM7 For Your Device
LewaOS ROM : This is what you are going to port
NOTE:
-----Use S5830 to port if your device is MDPI
-----Use U8800X, V880 to port if your device is HDPI
STEPS TO PORT :
STEP 1:
Open both ROMs using winRAR in two windows..No Need To Extract
Click to collapse
STEP 2:
Go to '/system' and delete '/system/app', '/system/framework' and '/system/media' folder from Base ROM (CM7)
Click to collapse
STEP 3:
Copy '/system/app' , '/system/framework' and '/system/media' folder from LewaOS to Base ROM.
Copying can be done by simply drag and drop between the winRAR windows
Click to collapse
STEP 4:
Go To '/system/bin' of Base ROM
--Copy all files present in '/system/bin' to LewaROM.
--Now from LewaROM copy all files from '/system/bin' folder to '/system/bin' of Base ROM
--This replaces all existing files of same name and adds missing files
Click to collapse
STEP 5:
Go To '/system/etc' of Base ROM
--Copy all files (except the folders) from '/system/etc' of BaseROM to '/system/etc' of LewaROM
--Now from LewaROM copy all files from '/system/etc' folder to '/system/etc' of Base ROM
--This also replaces all existing files of same name and adds missing files
Click to collapse
STEP 6:
Go To '/system/etc/init.d' of Base ROM
--Copy all files '/system/etc/init.d' of LewaROM to '/system/etc/init.s' of BaseROM
Click to collapse
STEP 7:
Go To '/system/etc/permissions' of Base ROM
--Copy all files from '/system/etc/permissions' of BaseROM to '/system/etc/permissions' of LewaROM
--Now from LewaROM copy all files from '/system/etc/permissions' folder to '/system/etc/permissions' of Base ROM
Click to collapse
STEP 8:
Go To '/system/lib' of Base ROM
--Copy all '*.so' from '/system/lib' of BaseROM to '/system/lib' of LewaROM
--Now from LewaROM copy all files from '/system/lib' folder to '/system/lib' of Base ROM
Click to collapse
STEP 9:
Go To /system/xbin of Base ROM
--Copy all files present in '/system/xbin' folder to '/system/xbin' of LewaROM.
--Now from LewaROM copy all files from '/system/xbin' folder to '/system/xbin' of Base ROM
Click to collapse
STEP 10:

Helps me very much. Do you happen to have a ROM porting guide to port ROMs between LDPI devices? (Ex. HTC Wildfire ROM to Huawei U8150? I'm too lazy to Google it, plus your tutorials are great!

No need to shout.

xxkqe is also not listed there...
edit: oh they have added kqe ..
kqd is an official india release, ask google
Anyways did you check if there were any new files in this rom ?
broodplank had found a difference between XXKQE and XXKQB
edit:I hope one day samsung will release ICS for our phone, the phone sale is quite good here in India maybe they will reconsider releasing an ics upgrade.
