Where is the option for turning off the dolby surround? - HTC Inspire 4G

Call me crazy but is there an option for turning off the dolby? Looked all over and can't find it. When I had my surround for one day there was a button.

Facepalm! It's not in sound options its in the music player.

[Q] Sound Enhancement in Music player

Hi Guys,
I am having a little issue with my sensation and I want to see if it happens to you as well.
When playing music with the stock HTC player, you have the option to chose sound enhancement, which actually works really well.
My problem is that every time I start listening to music, I need to go and apply the sound enhancement settings, the phone does not remember my preferences.
Does it happens to you too?
Yes. Probably a bug.

audio focus on cm7

so after installing cm7.2 rc3, my notification would play through my headphone while my music was playing. Now my notification only play through the speaker and it would mute my headphone music completely. I've tried using CM setting with notification focus on and still no difference. Does anyone know the solution to this??
On the Cm7's music player there are setting for notifications in the settings menu (go figure). Did you look to see what those might be set to?
Never mind.... I saw your mention of that at the end of your post. Sorry

Music Player/Audio Quality Issues - Sound Enhancer

Hey guys, I am experiencing some issues with my HTC Sensation music player. I must note that these issues only started after the major update to Android 4.0/IceCreamSandwich. The problems are to do with the sound enhancer within the music player. I hear a very loud pop when I change tracks, this only happens when I am using the Equalizer mode for the sound enhancer, happens for every setting (pop, rock,r&b, bass booster ect.). It's very annoying since I prefer using the Equalizer modes over the SRS or No Effects. Note that it only happens with headphones/earphones on (equalizer only works with earphones on anyway), and I've tried a couple of different sets and it isn't the problem.
Has anybody else experienced the same problem? And how do I fix the problem?
P.S In addition to this, when turning my phone on with the top right hand button, it sometimes takes several seconds for the display to actually turn on. Again, it only started happening after the update.
Thanks,
Dfdc2r

[Q] ClearAudio+

Hi, I have a question about the ClearAudio+ setting on the Z3.
I like to have this setting on for the speaker (increased volume mainly + surround), but I don't really like the effect it has on listening to music with headphones.
Is there any way to make this mode only apply for the speakers?
I'd like to not have to change the setting every time I switch between headphone/speaker.
I have S-Force Surround for the speakers but the it's too quiet
i wish to know the same...

Audio Options Explain/how to get best sound?

Can someone explain what the audio options are and what they do? Its confusing cause a lot of the options once activated they deactivate another option.
DSEE HX
ClearAudio +
And under sound effects (which gets disable when i select the above) there is
Automatic Optimization
S-Force Front Sound
What do all these options do and which one sounds best?
Also what works better with these, the stock music app or poweramp?
My music collection is 320kbps mp3 and flac audio.
