[Q] ClearAudio+ - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I have a question about the ClearAudio+ setting on the Z3.
I like to have this setting on for the speaker (increased volume mainly + surround), but I don't really like the effect it has on listening to music with headphones.
Is there any way to make this mode only apply for the speakers?
I'd like to not have to change the setting every time I switch between headphone/speaker.
I have S-Force Surround for the speakers but the it's too quiet

i wish to know the same...

[Q] Media/Music Volume Too High

Does anyone know of a workaround or app that can lower the lowest setting of the default htc music app? Even at the lowest volume, i think its too loud for my ears (i would like to preserve my good hearing till im old ). I have noise cancelling headphones and dont need it that loud. I wish we had volume control like an ipod.
Could Volume+ do it?

Headphones not loud enough

Hi!
Xperia MiniPro (PowerAmp) I used so far with AGK headphones. It sounds so loud and clear.
Now, my new Xperia L is inaudible and i cant heat that powerfull bass.
(With the same app and headphones.) I tried the same options, and tried to boost in equalizer but still crap.
Any solution to make it more loud and clear bass?
Only solution is to get a pair of headphones that are more sensitive. Xperia L has much worse built in amplifier that MiniPro had. I experienced same issue with my old headphones and solution was to get new ones with at least 106db sensitivity.
You could try that amp boost in PowerAmp but it kills dynamic and makes sound flat and dull.
Viper4Android Bro You can make the headphones, loudspeaker and bluetooth device sound a 6 db louder or if you install both Viper4Android and Viper4Android XHiFi you can make headphones 12 db louder (In my case I only have 6 db louder as I set a eq to be more bass than everything and by making + 12 db theres to much bass and headphones ale quieter than before). But give it a try. btw. this need root.

Click to collapse
PowerAmp app that OP is using has built in software amplication but just like every software solution that exists it kills dynamic and sound quality.

[Q] xperia z3 speaker problem

Anyone here having problem on the speaker? When i test ringtone in sound picker and try classic phone or cassiopeia there something weird sound in my speaker
Yes I do too
What kind of sound? Like a distortion you mean? At maximum volume?
I think he means that vibration or something loose like sound that comes on certain frequencies. I only get it in calls at full volume sometimes but not with music playing.
Ah yes for calls it might happen. But if you are listening to music with a high bitrate (high quality), you should not hear any other noises. Because low bitrates (low quality) music can make weird noises at high volume.

[Q] Sound problem

When someone is calling me and phone is ringing, song(Wind of change by Scorpions) sound very different than when is playing in walkman, whistling sound at begining is very quiet and guitar are very distorted but in walkman is ok...do you know what can it be and how to make to sound identical in both situation, walkman and ringing...

Audio Options Explain/how to get best sound?

Can someone explain what the audio options are and what they do? Its confusing cause a lot of the options once activated they deactivate another option.
DSEE HX
ClearAudio +
And under sound effects (which gets disable when i select the above) there is
Automatic Optimization
S-Force Front Sound
What do all these options do and which one sounds best?
Also what works better with these, the stock music app or poweramp?
My music collection is 320kbps mp3 and flac audio.
