Hey guys, just wanted to post this here. If you read Engadget (and I'm sure many of you do) then this will be old news. Here is the deal: simply, ATT is giving 1000 free rollover minutes out. All you have to do is text "yes" to 11113020.
Link to Engadget article.

Got mine today!
I had even forgotten that I did this a while ago...just got the text.
Got a reply late yesterday, got my minutes as a "one time courtesy"
I don't think att will match price with anyone. I am also within 30 days so if I take it back how soon would my account go back to showing upgrade elegibility. Even with restock fee that's still a 115 dollar difference. I never thought I would see this price!
After returning a phone to AT&T within 30 days you are immediately eligible for an upgrade, I've done it many times.

That or if you bring the ad with the price from another store, they will credit your account with the price difference. If it was within 30 days of you buying the phone.

Wookie is right. See if the manager will take care of it first. Just don't be a ****. Tell them you don't want to buy from Target. Massage their ego a little bit.
there's already a thread on this very subject guys.

Quoted for truth. Use the search button.
i know i could call Verizon but i hate using my phone to talk to someone, so....
The deposit you pay when you first sign up, do you get that back after the 1st year is up or the 2nd?...
and do they just give you the money back or applying "credit" to your account?... that and can you just use it towards another phone?
Did you have to pay a deposit to open a line or are you talking about something else?

They made me pay a $400 deposit due to my horrible horrible bad credit thanks to shady activity in my past...........
..............................

I believe you are looking at about a 6-8 month turnaround. They review your account after so much time and if its in good standing, you get it back.

cool. it's been 5 months so far. wonder if i should put it to a new phone or stick with this thing a tad longer. granted, this is the only "current" phone that i like.
I'd wait. Big things on the horizon.
FYI, a quick story....
When I signed up with Verizon in 2006 (freshly 18, and had zero credit) i was required to place a $100 deposit which I would recieve back after a year of good payments. After about 18 months, i realized that i never got my deposit back. It took a few phone calls, to both Verizon and my Bank for them to give my $100 back.... so while they did give me the money back.... my advice would be to hold onto that receipt!!!
deposits are held for one year.
After a year, they will review for things like bounced checks and such. As long as you have clean payment history, they apply the deposit to the account, then mail a check for any remain credit balance.
If you don't pass the review, they hold it for a few more months and review again. They'll continue to hold until you have something like 3 months of clean payments.

Kudos to you for staying in good standing.
I love people with such bad credit that can't pay their bills, yet they can afford a smartphone with a data plan. Oops, did I just say that?
I got mine about a year after. But i called them on the dot LOL . 2 weeks later got my Mula.

Hey some people have awesome priorities! But also keep in mind that sometimes "bad" credit isnt their doing or happened because of circumsatances beyond their control. Divorces, theft identity, things like that. Did you know that credit reporting companies in themselves arent the most honest people to deal with (unless you are an A+ list celeb)
The area I personally start having problems is, seeing as how I believe everyone should have a second chance, as long as they learn from their mistakes (as I had to), and do not repeat them.Or the ones that constantly feed off the "government trough" but thats another story.
Im glad you are improving things ..Stick with it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel
When i went back to Verizon after being away for several years... They wanted a $400... I waited three months and tried again got in with no deposit... And no change in credit score according to the service I was using at the time... Go figure...

When I first signed up for Verizon I was about 20 tears old and had 0 credit. I signed up online and didn't have to out a deposit down.
Odd how that happens.

I had a deposit and after 12 months of not being shut off, they credited my bill for the deposit. Used it to get my Tbolt.

that's not bad, had to pay 250 per line on sprint years ago. The weird thing is, about every six months, they would credit it back, even though it had already been credited. Happened 4-5 times over the years.

payed 25 for a invite
but was wondering how long does it take to receive the 3 invites or is that even true you get the three invites when you purchase the phone lol
of course i will be giving them invites out:good::good::highfive::highfive::highfive::highfive::highfive:
I've had the phone for about 3-4 weeks and still have not received invites to give out to anyone.
It'll take time to get the extra invites to give out to others.
Congratulations on your new purchase. Hope you enjoy it when you get it this week.
Look at the invites section of your OnePlus profile, that'll answer your question.
PS. Questions go in the Q&A Section.

No invites to share. Once you have purchased a phone you will be assigned sharable invites as we have stock available. Please note that it will happen randomly, not a specific amount of time after buying. You will receive an email when sharable invites are assigned to you.
