htc store in nanjing or shanghai

hi all! a friend of me is on the way to nanjing and shanghai and want to buy a htc-phone. Does anybody have an idea where he can buy (probably cheaper ;-) a htc in nanjing or shanghai? On the htc page no store in china were displayed.

As far as I know you can buy them from any high street mobile phone shops over there.

I used to live in Shanghai. China is a place where there are tons of cellphone resellers. Asia acually. I studied very far so our building is probably far from him. But there are tons of whole buildings just selling electronics so u cant miss just walk around. Shops just to sell cell phones. Yup no freaking plans needed . just bargain bargain bargain. and ask about warranty.

I know a good place that has a lot of phones in shanghai, the place call "sleepless city or ever-bright city" which you need to say it in chinese, because I don't know it's english name, it is near shanghai train station. that is six floors high and all saleing phones and very very cheap.

lol this is the place im talking about too! i was just walking. it's very visible. this place has more than phones! haha omg i bought a whole speaker system here for 100 kuai haha. i think i even got ripped and locals can get it cheaper.

No one says cool people know how to run a state without running it into the ground
I believe CA is not too far away from asking/forcing Amazon.com to collect sales tax for its residents since Amazon starts to do it for Texas now.

CT wanted to do this last year , thank god they didnt

From what I read, CA, Nevada and Arizona are the next in line for tax collection.

I have absolutely no sympathy for all you people who are going to have to start paying sales tax on Amazon. I've had to do it for years since I live in WA where Amazon is based.

I am cool and I liive in the Arizona desert

I live in Arizona and I will still buy from Amazon even if they have to charge sales tax. Amazon treats their customers a lot better than the brick and mortar locations I have access to.

hey guys. I arrive in Tempe, AZ tonight from the east coast and forgot my darn tF700T charger. anyone know if where to get one locally or borrow one? I'm kinda stuck and needed the tablet for work. well be here through Friday. I'm on Wi-Fi on the plane now. checked Fry's online and they don't show one locally.com hopefully Best Buy has one.

Your best bet would be calling frys electronics, I did some searches, couldn't find anything definitive about stock, just said to call. Amazon has some options as well with the option to have it arrive tomorrow with prime shipping:

"Melt Down" in a BB brought to you by Verizon...

lol, I just witnessed an "Epic mouth foaming" full fledged melt down in a BB...
I started to laugh and the person gave me the stare down of doom, made me chuckle some more.
And then I asked the CSR if they had cheese to go with all the "wine" they just received... The girl teared up a bit and then asked if I would like to apply for a BB CC...
How does a grown person just "Melt down" @ 10:15 in the morning over a device that's not supposed to be released to them until the 10th?
To all the CSR's that are going to be yelled at, called names, need to get a manager or call the cops today. "We" as in the royal "We" apologize in advance. Good luck and please keep sane today.
My mom is coming in to get a phone. All she knows is that it is big, and she doesn't have to squint to see the text messages when the she doesn't have her glasses on.... She won't yell or scream at you. She won't complain about not having accesories. All you have to do is transfer her contacts and photo's. And show her how to assign ringtones. Please be nice to her

This forum has actually made me feel bad for what the CSR's go through. I've always been more than polite to them (because who wants to help an asshole?) but I've silently resented them for not trying to be more sympathetic. Well I see why now, they put up with so much of peoples **** it makes them callous. I'm sure we have some members on this forum that are CSRs and I would love to hear some horror stories :laugh:

I actually just got off the phone with Verizon to ask about International roaming plan options and asked about shipping date for the Note 3 for the hell of it.

I got excited.

Sadness ensues.
Oh well,..one of my friends said it as well as someone on the forum that the best part of getting a new phone is the anticipation. I've been having lots of best parts with all this anticipation!!

Things I have heard people tell CSR's in a "loud" tone to voice their personal displeasure of not getting what they want on launch day of many phones @ the Corporate Sprint Store on La Cienega & 3rd in Beverly Hills.

I am holding you responsible if I scratch my phone!!

I can't wait to move to another carrier

Eventually police show up because a customer or 5 will call them even if the CSR's won't.
I have dealt with the same store for years now. They try to help as much as they possibly can and the majority of the customers appreciate them calling corp sprint and working stuff out. Maybe because its a corporate store or maybe because of the clientele. But Christ, some people are complete douche nozzles... Without any tack or situational awareness. But the CSR's at this store are definitely very understanding and courteous.

Heh. Any chance this is in LA? I've been on the phone all morning with an AT&T rep who's been calling AT&T stores in the LA area trying to find me a black Note 3. None of them have inventory, but apparently some crazy lady is calling around giving everyone a hard time lol.
EDIT: Turns out they do have the black ones in stock after all. Sorry for the misinformation!

Not sure if you heard the news stories about two "adult" women knocking the crap out of each other at an apple store over the "golden" iphone. There just aren't enough of them so they started brawling. That is just so pathetic, it is a phone, you can order one and get it later on. Yeah I want my phone early, called BB, certainly didn't drive there to day and was told nope, the 10th. I was cool with that and figured it would be the case but hey it never hurts to ask.

Yeah there a few stories of people being .. people...
On the bright side my mom got her device and is a happy camper.Which ever CSR she dealt with was courteous and spent time showing her a bunch of stuff and filming it at the same time. Gave her a copy so she wouldn't forget any of the new things she was shown. She gave a $35 tip for their time. And bought the person a starbucks coffee.

I'm gonna travel to HK early next year and I'm intending to buy a 4C there (and maybe a MiPad)...I checked that the official Xiaomi store there only have MiNote2 and 4i (until now). So, anyone knows a physical store that I can trust to buy it?
I'm a little bit afraid to buy on eletronic street shops, since I had many problems with a similar situation while living in Korea. (The reason for why I need a store indication )

There are lots of physical stores. Just ask to try the phone first and you'll be set. You're gonna pay a little extra money (couple hundreds HKD), but basically, yeah, it's gonna be the same risk as the street shop in South Korea.
Ask about how the warranty works if the phone dies.

They didn't sell any Mi 4c about 2 weeks ago, but they probably are when you get there

Well, usually, new models are quite scarce at first, so they hardly hit retail stores for the first few months like the "Mi Store" in Shanghai.

you may wish to try the 'fuk yan' computer mall. ask for directions to the ''wonder building' along 'fuk wah' streets (get there by MTR)

its not a massive mall but the most phones are amongst the cheapest price; be sure to explore around for other gadgets and goodies while you're at sham shui po!
