here are some vga themes that i made and have been using for some time...

You might wan't to consider pokeing around on this site: www.pocketpcthemes.com they must have nearly a million themes my now.

It's quite easy to make your own themes using McDebs or Thememaker X.. I usually just do my own themes when I want a theme with my girl's picture on it..and if I want something else.. this site already has everything.

at the expense of sounding boastful, most of the themes i came across the web (apart from a couple which were part of a theme suite) were...let us say the last option in this thread's poll.
not to sound disrespectful to any one but dude i am not intrested in some semi naked obese ugly female staring at me when i turn on my pda.
some people might say that my themes are crap, but hey i like them..and i wanted to share them with you.

Dude, is it just me or they they f*** up the visibility of text? I m still on wm5(universal) and take a look at how the contacts or any PIM app is getting displayed. This is NOT happening with any other theme

Its ****ty people made damage want to leave right when he releases dcupdater. Hopefully he will still support it.

don't know if you have read or not,but a lot of bs happened yesterday. damage may be gone forever. with all the work he has put into the community this is a shame.

i also just figured out what was going on, this really sucks, ehh oh well, i might have to start making themes my self, im very interested to make themes work with all of damages' themes, any one can share a link where i could get started with this project or share some knowledge. i want to make 2.1 themes. thankx in advance

i'll send you a pm whenever I get home. been working on a lot of stuff and could give you some help on some things that I was not able to find.

Steampunk Theme... I think I've done it!

I have collected icons, walls, made some of my own stuff and compiled it all into a steampunk theme running on the 31-DEC release of Vanilla Froyo2.2 CM6.2.1.
First off I need to give credit to manup465 and tekrodriguez for the work they did in the other droid forums.

I don't know if anyone is interested in this... i did some modifications to a lot of the core app .apk's and it could possibly cause problems if you're running a different theme. I'm not going to post an theme.zip unless you let me know that you really want it. This was more to prove to myself I could pull it off. Let me know what y'all think!

Umm... there is a ridiculously huge thread devoted to the rom I'm running... it's over in the development section... i believe jaybob413 is the originator of the thread and it has had many, many updates. I believe it's still on page one of the development section... says Froyo2.2 right in the subject line.
to everyone else... I'm happy to make my wallpaper and icons available to you, but to theme your phone you'd have to manually change your framework-res.apk and the application .apk files yourselves. I'm sorry, but with a family and two jobs, I don't have that kind of time. I'll try to work on a zip file to make the image files available sometime soon.

Yes... it's ADW launcher. I'll post the images asap. Unfortunately, LauncherPro only allows you to change the images of the dockbar. ADW allows you to change the images of any non-widget on the desktop. However, in my mod, I actually took the time to change the framework-res.apk and the application .apk's so it shows up changed in the drawer as well. I just don't have time to do that for everyone. sorry!

I know, if you read the post I was quoting he was asking about running it on windows mobile 6.5 on a touch pro 2, I stand firm on my statement that it wont work on that phone

I know this is kind of old and i am just about to ask quite a bit so I will begin. I recently began getting interested in the steampunk subculture and I remember looking at this and thinking it is kind of nifty. So my questions are 1. Would anyone be willing to revive this theme and 2. If so would they be willing to meld it somehow with the Gingersense theme? I think it would look pretty amazing

[THEME] IRIS for stock SE ROM - .504 and .24

Hello again!
I am one of the very few people here who haven't officially updated their phone ever since the much-anticipated 2.1 update in November and don't use a custom ROM. I guess it has to do with the fact that many mods and hacks became available and didn't really feel the need to start modifying my system (JIT, fonts, ui sounds, dual touch, xRecovery, etc etc etc... ) all over again.
Meanwhile, I've been messing with some png's and .9.png's and created a theme for my personal use. It's mainly black and purple, with a few gray details.
Some members saw some screenshots of mine and asked me to share the theme.
And so I am!
It includes an installer, it's not for xRecovery!
And it's for 2.0.A.0.504 -rooted of course- ROMS only!
Now, if many people ask for it, I will try to port it to the latest version,
but honestly I am very very busy during this time of the year,
so please bear with me!

New Boot Screen! Download here! Place the zip in system/media and make sure that after pasting the permissions are like before. My preferred method is using RootExplorer.

It actually is a theme only!
Not a "ROM" per se, just themed system apps and framework.

Thank you for sharing this Excellent theme just a pity, that am on 2.2 other wise would have enjoyed this theme. Though a bit girly, the purples would look great with the sensous black, i guess any chance of a 2.2 port??? (at-least the firmware-res.apk)

It's very easy, as long as you are running Windows on your PC.
Connect the phone to your PC with the cable.
Extract the rar file anywhere on your PC. Inside the folder you will see a .cmd file.
Just double click on it and the rest will be very very easy.

[Q] Live wallpapers not working on jedi mind tricks rom

Hi. I bought a t-mobile Samsung galaxy S2 yesterday and the guy I bought it from has Jedi mind tricks rom on it. I downloaded the diablo 3 live wallpaper and every time I go to open it after downloading and installing, it won't open. So I thought it was the app and tried another live wallpaper and that didn't open. I tried 5 different live wallpapers and none of them work on my phone. So i'm assuming it's something with the Rom he put on my phone. regular wallpapers work, just not live wallpapers. I would really like to get this working, cause I love live wallpapers especially the Diablo 3 one. Can someone please help with this issue step by step, I am just learning about cell phones now since I got this, but I am a complete NOOB atm. also... is there a link someone can provide on learning how to use Jedi mind tricks? thanks a lot! I did want to add... I looked my butt off for anything on this before I posted this question and found nothing on it, if it is posted somewhere, I am sorry, but me being at work didn't give me uber browsing time and it doesn't help I have ADD and this site is VERY overwhelming to me. I want to mention, I called the guy I bought the phone from and he said try using APEX or a different loader, but that didn't work either. Very frustrating considering I build and repair PC's but can't figure this phone thingy out.

That's because its not included in the ROM by default. It can be found in the Goody Bag.
A good way to solve most ROM related issues is to:
1. Search in the ROM's discussion thread (like I did just now)
2. Ask in the ROM's discussion thread
3. PM the dev of the ROM once and wait for an answer.
