Neocore Score

Whats the best Neocore score you've gotten? Here is mine with Fresh Toast V1.1

My first run on fresh toast v1.1 i got 34.4.. Havent ran the test since then.

Thats amazing, Flipz and Toast are the bomb!

My best is a 29 something and that was on Fresh Toast v1.1... But I was more than happy with how it performed, so the benchmark really didn't bother me too much. Congrats on the 34's though guys

Most important thing is to turn off the sound and make sure you put SET CPU to performance. That made a world of a difference.

Check my sig, that is the highest I have gotten in neocore, but I get that everytime! But I believe my other scores are prolly the highest!

My Orange San Francisco (ZTE Blade) without any tweaks and stock android managed to get 39.7 FPS ???

34.0 running cm6.1, kernel #589, oc'd to 750mhz

[Testing] Sidekick 4G Pushed to Stock 1.0GHz: 1500+ in Quadrant!

I have successfully overclocked the Sidekick 4G to 1.0GHz. This spead is good enough to get +1300 in Quadrant . 1.0GHz is a 15% overclock and makes this fast phone even faster and snappier in day to day usage.

It's still settling in that's why it's at 1200 , it was just at 1400 now it's at 1200 , for some reason it keep's changing . It reach's +1800 in AnTutu's benchmark . Will Post updated picture's when everything settle's in . "Stock is at 1000GHz i just pushed it to 1000GHz w/ a ROM & bali V3 hitting 1.5k almost 1.6k
6/23 : Reached 1500 in Quadrant .

Without OCing it it's at 100MHz . & nobody else can OC it .

Lol I hope that was a typo... no android phone is clocked at 100mhz! I'm pretty sure a cheapo flip phone has at least the equivalent of a 100mhz processor.
According to T-Mobile the Sidekick 4g is already at 1ghz. I don't see what you did here.

Im on a new Bali_SK4G_V2.1 , so now im testing might be more .
Cross your finger's for +1500 in quadrant hehe . * Tested * & reached 1500 on quadrant .
Bali_SK4G_V2.1 will come out tonight ,

updated kernel, setcpu maxed out, quadrant of 1409... Nice.
I am not using included launcher(s) with the customer rom (smooth maximus) I am using GoLancher. that might be making the difference, I dont know.
How are you guys getting 1500?
Btw, while its nice to get such high quadrant, there is no way I would keep cpu maxed, battery would suck @#$%. Setting cpu back to normal.

Can you please stop posting stuff that has nothing to do with development in the development section? Your sidekick is not overclocked, it did 1ghz out of the box. Unless you are going to build a rom or kernel you do not need to start a new thread here you are causing the development section to be overloaded with junk

Do you have any experience with "overclocking" ?
Our kernels are set to clock at a max of 1000Mhz (goes lower when it doesnt need that much power)
you arent running at a higher clock rate of 1000Mhz meaning you didnt overclock anything. you have too many threads in the development section that are just nonsense or just dont belong here. Please do research before posting

All you had to do was shoot me a PM , where is this support to go general ? lol .

You did not overclock this phone. The Hummingbird SoC in this phone has a stock clock speed of 1Ghz. All you did was change the governor to not allow the CPU to fall below the 1Ghz speed. Please research overclocking before you post threads about how you know everything about this phone.

Rofl noob. Sk4g is already 1ghz and lol I get a quad score of 1335 on my. Mytouch slide oced at 864mhz come back when u have oced ur sk4g and I don't mean stock 1ghz I mean 1.1ghz or faster then u will have oced

Sorry well i pushed it to 1GHz , it's obv not once i went into SetCPU it was below 1GHz , Sorry

Explain how u oc to 1ghz when its stock 1ghz I mean explain it how? I'm lost ....so ur saying the sk4g is not 1ghz or ur saying u can't get more then 1ghz cuz there is no oc kernel for sk4g

You didn't push it to 1ghz it was already clocked at that it is a hummingbird processor. You need to change the title of the thread to "I'm bored, watch me gloat about quadrant scores"

Nobody's gloating about Quadrant score's , Im the only one who seen me reach 1500 in quadrant . Everybody is 1000-1300

3214 on Quadrant

Although these numbers are kind of inaccurate, I got a 3214 on the Quadrant using Raver's Octaine 2.0 and Overclocking to 1.3.

In other words, my phone has gone SSJ.

Nice! Sounds like you have a good ROM with good performance!

What Benchmark is the preferable one for our phone?

I think AnTuTu is a better benchmark. I've heard that Quadrant isn't optimized for the Hummingbird.

Yeah it may be more accurate but Its a nice ego boost to see that big orange bar at the top in Quadrant

Quadrants don't mean crap. Bump your sd read ahead cache to the max, overclock your cpu, enable all the stage fright crap in the build prop, tweak a few things here and there and you'll have that score. The only thing that actually increases performance would have been the overclock lol
I had a majoritively stock rom running 3600+ once. :/ I've seen barely usable builds running really high quads, and I've seen great fast smooth ones running real low...
Tl;dr - i wouldn't worry about it. Unless you're having performance issues. Then id reinstall with full wipes of everything.

Download vodoo control from the market. The free version. That will tell you in the options if lagfix is on. Easiest way.

If you have lagfix enabled, you should get three lines back.
If you don't, you will get nothing.

[Q] Low quadrant score?

when i run Quadrant on my new One S i only score about 3500, but when i look at reviews they score about 5000? how much do you get?
Edit: Ok i did a restart and now i get 4800 istead.. strange it had such a big impact on the score

Well on my first run before the restart i only scored 3000 then i closed all the apps i had running and tried again resulting in 3500.

and just another strange thing, quadrant says that my phone contains the msm8960 chipset.. but the one s is supposed to have the MSM8260A right?

Sunspider vallamo ~1500, Sunspider browser~1700, flinger tests are all maxed out at 60 fps with 0 framedrops

Quadrant reports 5022 for me, 2410 for velamo (overall score)
