My son bought what he thought was a THC Hero on ebay but it turned out to be a clone made in China. I have tried to root it but it returns the message fu`bu not rooted using the universal method. I have not been able to find a usb driver to use the adb method, not sure if this is because I have windows 7. I have looked on the Chinese forums with google translate but you have to find a usb driver to bush a recover image to the phone which I have not been able to find. I do have a old computer with windows xp that I could try with the different usb drivers if any one thinks this is the problem. The model of the phone is G03cc manuf. ChiVin, cupcake 1.5. Maybe we have some Chinese members that could help.
Thanks
I am afraid chinese rom takes more work for the developers to figure out bout further hack.. they dont run with the same hardware spec as the original... OS is diffrent
If its a clone copy, then i have to say Sorry Custom Made ROM not going to work on it, Because you cant Flash Chinese Mobiles
@ Try to find some Chinese forums, you never know there are many Chinese forums available on net

There is unfortunately no unlocked bootloader for the C900, so custom ROMs simply aren't possible. Of course when heathcliff74 releases the next version of WP7 Root Tools, it won't matter as you'll have full access to the file system even on stock ROMs.
Filesystem access and app policy modification via WP7 Root Tools v0.9 already works on LG Windows Phones, after applying interop-unlock using the built-in registry editor.

If your phone is under warranty, remember to find a way to bring it back to the original state if you have to send it in for repair.
Your warranty will be void because the phone has been modified.
Calypso 4
Hi,
I bought the calipso 4 from spc telecom in Portugal.
I found the box of my calypso and there was a sticker with this: "Wiko Limeted Edition for spc telecom".
I contact wiko international and they said that should contact wiko in portugal... strange.
Wiko in Portugal reply me saying that mobile is a version of the Fever produced for Italian provider! This is impossible, because Fever is from 2016...
I still did not search nothing, I hope this could help all.
So I got a 710 Lumia, Im passing it down to my mom, I havent used it in years, running 1 custom rom 7.8, my problem is that is kinda slow, slower than I remember, factory reset did not help, so after some searching I read it might be 7.8's fault in this model so Im trying to downgrade
After some searching on "Internetz" I got into the idea I need both Navifirm to download the firmware and Nokia Care Suite to install it.
After some more searching I fount this list of product codes, I did not copy pasted it here because I coulnt find the way to put it as spoilers and its too long, it would spam.
seidea.com/2013/08/09/product-codes-of-nokia-lumia-710 (sorry for the half-ass link, apparently I cant even link unless I have certain number of posts, just add www's)
Anyways, how do I know which model/product code whatever version I need for my phone? also it would help if anyone got a link to a tread on how to downgrade from 7.8 to 7.5 properly, thanks
Hi, long time lurker, but it's been a while.
So, I received 2 (brand new) Tab 2's and immediately found they both had/have the ancient 4.0.4 and wouldn't be updated OTA by Sammy to anything much newer.
I haven't needed to root or flash a custom rom in *years*, so I am def. rusty....but I quickly did my research, found that CM has been replaced by Lineage, and that there were Tab 2 roms up to 6.0. Enticing enough.
I root'd both with TowelRoot, then installed TWRP manager on one. I also went through and compared the differences for p5100/5110/p5113 models, but all I really found was with/without 3g, with/without IR blaster...so I found (thought) that mine should be the expresso3g p5110.
BIG MISTAKE. I read LATER that the 5110 is an international model, and the VZW is almost identical but SPECIAL (with a custom/locked bootloader?) and not to be confused with the former (unless you're stupid like me).
So I installed the p5110 TWRP...it rebooted and...volia! Instantly (my first ever) hard brick. It appears to have trashed the bootloader/partition layout: It recognizes as "qhsusb_dload" which after drivers comes up as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM9)" ....no light, no downloader, no recovery, nada.
I searched/read a lot, and find that there is no love/tutorials for this model, everyone appears to have the 7" or non-VZW models. But I did read lots of conflicting info, and a couple *possible* options (since I have an identical rooted working unit):
I can *maybe* make a jig to get into downloader mode (but I can't find the pinout since tab 2 is 30pin)....I read from different ppl this will (or definitely will not) work
Since it reads as QDLoader 9008 COM then QPST will likely recognize it, but ODIN won't
I can therefore (possibly) use QPST and extract the image of the working unit, and flash it to the bricked one
I can also (possibly) use terminal emu on the good unit to extract a "debrick.img" (of just the downloader partitions) and boot them off of the microsd to flash back the stock rom
It appears that if any of these are possible, there is no custom love for my model, period. And that even I can extract/flash with QPST, I will end up cloning the working unit, copying device specific info, which is also not ideal.
Also, there doesn't appear to even be stock rom files available for this.
Add to that that I read that with a locked bootloader I won't be able to flash anything. Which also begs the question, if the bootloader was "locked"...how did TWRP overwrite/trash it to begin with?
Please would someone much more knowledgeable chime in here? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is anything listed above viable? I hate to just scrap this unit, it is LITERALLY brand new (still has the plastic on it!)
Thanks in advanced for anyone with any options or suggestions!
I guess I will answer my self. If you are like me and just screwed up the bootloader (and all the other partitions are intact), the debrick image will do the trick. It is explained HERE. The bootloader debrick for a VZW stock 4.0.4 is uploaded HERE, hope it helps someone!
Good Afternoon:
I a m not a newbie at this but I am not an expert either> I recently purchased this phone from a Chinese supplier. I received the phone and briefly checked it out. I then plugged it in to charge it. Somewhere in the process the ROM vanished.
I pled with the suppliers for about two weeks which resulted in them sending my two versions of the ROM. The one initially on the phone when I got it and allegedly the Global ROM. Here's my present issue. The phone is locked into fast boot and the bootloader shows locked. I tried the Levovo recovery tool and that proved useless. I then tried loading the ROM onto an OTG via a micro SD card. No Joy.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I do have SDK tools, but haven't used it in a while. My issue was trying to find the correct driver for Windows to get it to recognize the phone. Grrrrr. I am a victim of my own stupidity. Any suggestions would greatly help.
Thanks in advance;
Howard

Not sure about the retailer who sold you the device but from what you've shared it doesn't sound like they're open to replacing the phone. To a certain degree that's on you for not doing your homework prior to purchase. Have you called Levano's customer support? If you just bought it then the warranty should cover the issue. Good luck!
