[Q] Risks of rooting my Samsung Galaxy 5 (I5503) - General Questions and Answers

Until now, I still can't decide if I should root my Galaxy 5 or not. I am really afraid that I may brick my phone.
So, I have read a lot of forums already and posts that rooting is really risky because I have all the controls of my phone. That I can destroy it anytime I want.
Should I root my phone? I am really afraid. Is there any way to unroot it after rooting? Thanks!

Try universal androot . I rooted my galaxy 5 using it , works perfectly

[Q] Rooting galaxy s 2

Hey and sorry if this is a old question, but I have a problem...
I'm having troubles when I'm trying to root my galaxy s II, but my problems are these:
I can't use superoneclick, cause the program it crashes everytime I try.. Someone says that u can't root gingerbread's with that.. (why youtube is full of rooting videos?)
And now I'm thinking should I try rooting with gingerbreak?
(people says that u can't root galaxy s2's newest model with gingerbreak?)
and if I can root it with gingerbreak, what folder I should put that .apk file etc?
I've read lots of forums, but I never get answers to my problems, so I'm hoping that u guys can here help me out.. THANKS!!
You should probably check the subforums for your device. Check the stickies, there's probably a guide to rooting there.
Manufacturer and phone model have more to do with root methods than Android versions. Instead of searching for how to root Gingerbread, search for how to root your specific model.

[Q] which root instrucitons to use that work...

i know this has been asked a billion times or mauled over a billion times so i will be apart of that Infintesimal group but pretty much all instructions on rooting i have come across are confusing or do not work. i want to be able to use .apk applications with their full benefit. i have a samsung galaxy S3 Verizon edition Android 4.3 versions SCH I535, where are some instructions that have easy to follow directions. I found this one will this work for sure? i just want one easy to follow and actually works and is not outdated.
I also have a Samsung galaxy tablet SCH I800 that i would like to root as well ( out of warranty so dont care about Bricking it.) please dont hurt it though instructions that work to root the device. thanks

[Completed] Considering rooting my device

Hey, so recently I've seen quite a few good and useful advantages for rooting my phone but a few disadvantages if i did decide to root my device, I would go ahead with this process however I'm not sure where to go from here and if i should actually root my phone.
I have a HTC One Mini and I've got a few questions about rooting since I haven't really done it before just read about it and watched videos about it,
Some questions I have:
If I did decide to root my phone what would be the best way(e.g. the most trusted/popular tutorial for rooting etc) and where should I go from here?
If I did root it, what would be the chance of bricking it and actually breaking it fully to the point of no return?
If I did go and root it is there any way to revert back to a non-rooted device or will it be rooted forever if I do root it?
Is there anything else I would need to know before I did root it?
Thank you for reading.

Best way is too read the HTC One Mini > One Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > Frequently Asked Questions thread.
Q2 is about rooting.
You can find more useful information and guides in the HTC One Mini > One Mini General forum.
And if you have further questions, please ask in the HTC One Mini > One Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.

Bricking it would be a very miniscule chance. I doubt you would brick your phone because it only will happen if something just went AWOL.
As for unrooting possiblilities, It is possible. Don't know how you can unroot a HTC One Mini but im sure there is a easy way.

easy way to root note pro 12.2 ?

hi
i just bought a samsung galaxy note pro 12.2 tablet.
Im wondering if there is a easy way to root it without wipe? how ?
its sm-p900 running android 5.0.2
Easy way? Maybe, but just look at the threads here about rooting. I find it absolutely no fun to do. I have so many working productive apps on my 12.2 that I would never risk rooting. Why do you want to do it?
i rooted my note 10.1 quite easy but dont remember where i found the guide.
Can anyone link me to a easy guide, updated? most thread are old, dont know if its safe.....
i want to get access to the system/app files thats why i need root...

I'm pretty sure you can use CF-Auto-Root.

If you want to get a different experience, flash Lineage 7.1.x. Totally worth it.

Rooting shouldn't have any impact on most apps. And if the app is checking for root, there are ways around that. Using Titanium Backup with root is probably one of the biggest things for me.

[ROOT HELP PLEASE] Hi guys a noob needing help with rooting my Nexus 7 Lollipop 5.1.1

Hi guys & girls,
Another new noob making his first critical question, here's the low down. OK I have a Nexus 7 running 5.1.1 Lollipop, (WISH I WOULD HAVE NEVER UPGRADED TO LOLLIPOP FROM KITKAT) but anyway, I have tried several ways of rooting it. TowelRoot, KingoRoot, Nexus Root Tool Kit (NRK), etc...
I know I can downgrade back to a later version of my KittyKat. How ever I was trying to avoid that method (if it can be helped). My Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A it gave me a bit of trouble rooting it on behalf of it being an AT&T version. So enough yacking.. Here's my question, and any answer I will appreciate. I would like to know if there is an OFFICIAL way to root the Nexus 7? Or any late releases that anyone knows about, for rooting the Nexus 7 5.1.1 Lollipop, eather If it's a one-click method or PC method? I'd be happy with a PC method (if it can be helped). I'd rather a easy one-click method, we love those methods.
Thanks for any & all answers,
LaiD_BacK_MaNoR
Hey Again,
As I see no one was able to find a way to Help me Root my "N7", I was able to do research and upgrade my own CPU (My Brain) and get the job done myself and even managed to unlock the bootloader, on my own as well. Thanks for those who tryed. But it was a win, win for me bc I am now well advanced in the computer world.:good:
So if anyone else has this similar issue I will be delighted to help.
Thanks
