I just bought some Terrapin screen protectors off Amazon and they are terrible. Already scratched up just from wiping it down once. Does anyone have any recommendations on some screen protection? I would rather use the dry/cling style and not the wet type. I have the MyBat screen protector for my SGSII and love it, but it appears they only make protection for the 10.1.
Thanks for the advice!!
Bought two @folix screen protectors from Amazon few weeks back. They are very easy to install, exactly the size of the screen (with a hole in the camera lens area). I feel it reduces the fingerprint smudges but think it's also just a bit more difficult to wipe the screen fully clear. I cannot see any difference on the image with or without this foil.
I am considering ZAGG invisibleSHIELD to protect my Galaxy Tab 8.9, but is it really necessary? The glass itself is reinforced and resistant to scratches.

I recently bought a glare free protective film kit from iluv
With two precision cut films...
take your time to place it, but i'm very happy with the result.
No more fingerprints on my screen and it's still working as it was without it....

Hey guys,
I haven't received my N5 yet and I'm looking to have a screen protector by the time it gets here. I was looking at Spigen and found at their website that they only have the Ultra Crystal. Well, I went on Amazon UK and found out that they were selling a 3-pack Spigen Crystal screen protector for £5.98 and then a Ultra Crystal that comes with front and rear protection for £9.99.
Now, I wouldn't mind spending a bit more for something that's, in fact, better but I can't seem to understand what the differences are between these two products. I'm really only looking for screen protection.
TLDR: Differences between Spigen Ultra Crystal screen protector and Crystal screen protector.

Thanks!
I saw that but I'm not sure if that states a difference or only lack of description on the other product. Really confused by these two.
What Plastic Screen Protectors are you using on the Note 4? I'm under the notion that typical PET film is compatible with most cases.
I got the Zagg HDX screen protector and I'm pretty happy with it. I was hoping for tempered glass, but I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. The HDX protector was easy to install and it feels great. No issues with s-pen making divots or marks so far (been about a week of use).
INITIALLY... like immediately after you put it on, it feels a bit "sticky" when you run a finger over it. Just clean it off though and it's fine. Must be some residual "sticktion" from the films that cover the film prior to install.
+1 for the Zagg HDX. It's more expensive, but well worth it. The glass protectors look funky on this phone, and you can barely tell the Zagg is on there except for the somewhat sharp edge. I usually go without a protector, but the Note 4 is VERY scratchable... I had several light scratches in the coating that could only be seen in the right light only after a few days of use, so I had to get the protector.
I can rest-assure you its very hard not to get even the tiniest scratch on the shiny metal portions of the Note 4 especially the first time you put the phone in a case. When buying new, the device jostles while in transit, and I've seen scratches in areas where no one will see; that's just me.
Is the HDX as thin as one of those cheap plastic screen protectors found on eBay?
The HDX is a little thicker than the cheap ones. It's a multi-layer construction and provides impact resistance. It's still thin and flexible enough that it handles the slight curve at the edge of the screen and doesn't halo or anything. AND... I'm using the Samsung case and it works with that perfectly.
I'm currently using the iCarez film protector and it does not fit with my Seidio Surface case because it's too thick. Has a bubble in the lower left corner I can't get rid of and when I put the phone in my Akron Mega Grip car mount the side arms cause a large bubble on the left side. Not sure how thick it is but hoping for better results with the Zagg HDX which is 1 mm thick. Also don't like S Pen feel with the iCarez film.
I've been using Spigen Steinheil screen protectors since I first got a Motorola OG Driod. The Steinheil have always been durable and protective of my screens. I have a Spigen Steinheil Crystal screen protector on my Note 4. It works well and doesn't interfere with the native screen. They come 3 in a pack.
Zagg hdx until my iloome shows up

TechMatte screen protectors are the best quality, and best value!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00MX...SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=510dhI4oDpL&ref=plSrch
I am really enjoying using my new Note 4 but an issue I've found is some screen protectors seem to almost reduce the resolution/brightness of the display.
So I thought rather than wasting my money, check if there was any screen protector which everyone agreed was either the best or one of the best.
My priority is:
absolute transparency
screen protection
slimness
I've heard alot of good things about the spigen screen protectors, as below
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SPIGEN-LC...231319?hash=item27eb596e97:g:mokAAOSw7NNUDb-M
What does everyone else think?
There's a thread on this topic. Here, it might help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2878038
It was the intelliGLASS edge to edge screen protector until I realized that it was picking up a lot of smudges (Easier than most generic ones) and it's a bit too close to the edge to allow for TPU cases. I just went with one off eBay. Has haloing but I have the white note 4, making it almost impossible to see.
tempered glass is the way to go, normal plastic screen protectors vary to heavily in quality and are prone to scratches and discoloration. I'd honestly pick up a decent tempered glass screen protector of ebay. although I've been using mine without a screen protector for a while and it's held up fine. in saying that i just ordered a nuglas tempered screen protector last night of ebay for 8 bucks.
I'm a big fan of Illumishield: Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Screen Protector with Lifetime Replacement Warranty - Japanese Ultra Clear HD Film with Anti-Bubble and Anti-Fingerprint - High Quality (Invisible) LCD Shield - [3-Pack]
I find them to be completely clear with a good feel. I forget they are on the phone. For the most part they are resistant to fingerprints, fit perfectly and are very durable. One usually lasts me the life of the phone. Priced well also.
The best part is that they are really bubble free if applied in a dust free environment (steamy bathroom). I use the hinge method to pre-position the protector so I only have to put it on once.
Good product.
tempered glass prot.
I'm personally not going to even bother looking for a good tempered glass screen protector, because I want full case compatibility, and I want full screen coverage without black edges - probably not possible with 2.5D edges.
I am, however, a fan of plastic PET screen protectors as they are easily replaceable, should be cheap, and fit any case.
Currently, I'm using the one that was pre-installed on the OP6, but I noticed the edges are peeling already, so I'm looking for alternatives now.
Spigen used to have a "Crystal Clear" PET screen protector which worked awesomely on my past devices, but they do not seem to manufacture it anymore.
Perusing Amazon, the only one I see that's a PET protector is this one:
"[8-Pack] OnePlus 6 Screen Protector, J&D [Not Full Coverage] Premium HD Clear Film Shield Screen Protector for OnePlus 6"
Unsure of its quality though, and people I know have stated that the sizing/cutouts of J&D are not very good.
I'm not a fan of the 3M-type "self-healing" soft screen protectors due to the texture/stickiness.
Does anybody know of any alternative PET (plastic) screen protectors for the OP6?
I'm a huge fan of armorsuit screen protectors. They are the self healing sticky type. It takes a couple days, but eventually they lose the sticky feeling, and work great after that. Another plus is they seem to repel fingerprints way better than the pet screen protectors.
Still using the preinstalled protector for now, but will probably change to the armorsuit soon.
I agree with you. I hate the tempered glass (plastic) screen protectors and am looking for inexpensive PET ones like the one that came in the phone.
On eBay there is a seller selling the ExtremeGuard ones but the cut is all screwed up and they don't fit. I've always had good luck with SuperShieldz as they are high quality and pretty cheap and I'm hoping they start making them for the OP6 soon.
After using trying a few different TGSPs, I went this route. Armorsuit was nice, but I've found that the skinomi one is much smoother and has less drag.
Search for iLLumiShield Screen Protector for OnePlus 6 on Amazon. They have both crystal clear and matte finish. They use Japanese PET film. Have not tried on OP6 but my previous experience has been very good.
Same, i always used these soft nano protectors on my old phone but i got my oneplus 6 with a glass screen protector that i got for free due to the code someone gave me so if the glass really sucks i will go back to the soft protectors. I always buy them from aliexpress and most of the time they are like 1 or 2 bucks so i always get a couple so that i future proof my self

Thanks for the recommendation. This is something along the lines of what I'm looking for - I think I'll buy a pack to test the crystal clear.
