IN CASE YOU MISSED IT!!!
Gojimi getting the GTab some street cred! way to go man!
Thank you for sticking in there with us and keeping it going. If it weren't for you, Roebeet, and Rothnic many of us don't know where we'd be.,
From the article... the GTablet is an "unfortunate target"??? BOOOO!!!!
Yup it was already mentioned in his adam port thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928832&page=16
Edgadget hates our tablet - boo!!!!
But kudos to gojimi -- he is a development God and I bow to him!
Engadget hates anything not made by apple lol
also, big thanks to gojimi as well as the rest of the devs and contributing members here at xda
Sounds like jealousy to me. Pure and simple.

I know everyone keeps saying thanks for all you hard work, but I do not think we can thank you enough.
I will not list all of the Gtab Dev's, you know who you all are.
I just wanted to start this thread for us that have been here from the beginning of the gtab and it's place here on XDA From one huge thread to it's own home.
This will also give those new user's an idea of who here help make this device a better device and who Viewsonic really needs to thank for current and future sales.
Everyone, please keep the thread on track (this is not a place for questions and answers and discussions of apps, roms and such)
just say "THANKS"
Twelve ounce solute to all XDA devs
Thanks!!!

GRACIAS!!
Thanks Roebeet and others!
I can truly say this thing would be back without the dev's hard work. Thanks !
I did return one early on...Then kept reading the posts and went back and bought another one.
Added tnt 2.2 "liked it alot"
But the VEGAn build beta2 has passed them all by. This thing is so nice now.
iPhone ipad what are those Consumer devices... they seem like old crippled OS's from the past. Remember WM5 ??? No I forgot the minute I went to Treo. Remember Treo..no I forgot the minute I went to iPhone 1st gen. Now...
Remember iPhone 4/3gs no I forgot the minute I got a Android Samsung Captivate. Now the circle is complete with the Viper Tablet( G tablet with VEGAN beta xx)!
Obrigado !
Oh with out a doubt!! Us and Viewsonic owes these guys ...I was so disappointed when I first got my g tab home and saw how slow it was. I actually boxed it back up and was going to return it the following day. I stumbled on this site and stayed up all night tweaking my new favorite toy.
Big thank you. I bought one the first day but took it back. I just bought another one after seeing the great options given us by the great cooks here!
Wowsher
This has been one of the most active and resourceful forums I've been a part of. Many many thanks to Roebeet and the other developers for their tireless contributions to the forum and for making the Viewsonic G Tablet a wonderful choice.
Thank you! I would have returned this device had I not stumbled across this great site!
You have made an android noob look great! I love my device now and Thank all the Developers and users out there!
I'm with you guys I never would've bought this device if it wasn't for the days of reading threads on xda and seeing the support itbwas getting. I knew it couldn't be bad if it was getting so much love from the devs. THANK YOU!!! For making putting the tegra 2 to good use
Thanks!
very, very much appreciated!
Its been fun to watch all the collaboration and hard work.
Thanks!!
All the hard work is very appreciated here.
Its like the old 6 million doller man TV show in the 70's: We can rebuild it... better, stronger, faster. Indeed they did.
Thank you ALL, for all of your hard work. Without you, the G-tab would be dead.
THANKS
thanks I almost returned it. I switch roms about 3 to 4 days from roebeet to CM6 to TNT lite
Much respect to the devs.
My turn!
Rothnic, many thanks for your initial zPad roms, your subsequent dealings with their devs to bridge the gap, and your amazing work with the VEGAn build.
GoJimi, your work on the VEGAn is nothing short of amazing and we wouldn't even have a build without you. I was ready to give up on it before you got alpha 1 working.
Bekit. Clockworkmod. I think we all know how important that tool is in our build work. And your nvflash work has made it possible to restore an otherwise bricked device. I can't thank you enough for that.
Proengin. You've been the middle man between myself and Modaco / Malata, and your info has helped us immensely with our builds.
To everyone who I've mentioned in my build posts (there's a lot of you out there). Every tip and fix you've helped with has made our devices better.
And to the community here -- your testing and feedback have helped enormously to make a mediocre device great. There are numerous things you've suggested that I would have never even thought of, and now I get to reap the benefits of, on my own device!
THANKS!!!
Roebeet, I can't that you enough! I've been following your mods since I found myself frustrated with my first Eken and I came across your WPDN mods on slatedroid which prompted me to go out and get one of those and then when you got a gTab I jumped on that bandwagon too and again have you to thank for a device that works much better than it did out of the box. Thanks again to you and anyone else who has contributed to your efforts. If our paths ever cross I look forward to buying you a drink.
Another person of great help to this newbie is Wasserkapf. He has been most patient, and kind to me as I embark on my journey with the G Tablet. Thanks!
I recently activated a donations button after a few weeks of going back and forth. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that, but I'll be very honest that I wouldn't mind grabbing a "dev" unit if I can find one on the cheap, in the Outlet. Having two active mods is definitely tough with one device. So I figured every little bit would help.
I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who's donated, already. I am humbled and flattered and amazed at the generosity here and I really appreciate it. I think even my wife is amazed to the point that she might not bug me as much for being a "tech widow", as she likes to put it.
Just donated! Thanks for all your hard work. I'm loving the VEGAn rom!
Me too. Many thanks, Roebeet.
Thanks to you both!!!
Donated. You are the reason why I got this gadget to begin with...
Merry Xmas dude...
Sent a little monetary love your way as well. Looking forward to what you can do once we get the source from Viewsonic!

Hey your wife gives you crap because you are uploading your stuff, my wife gives crap because I'm downloading your stuff. It's all good...
My way of saying thanks.
You have been doing a wonderful job with your 2 mods. Both are the reason for getting a G Tab in the first place. Many, Many Thanks.

Made me LOL. Thanks!
Donated too. Thanks, I wouldn't have kept this thing without you..
Came home from work and saw this post, FINALLY!
Donated. THANKS.
Gracias a ti roebeet. Feliz Navidad!
OMG I'm having flashbacks of "It's a Wonderful Life", except that Mr. Potter is Tap N' Tap Inc., and the everyone's sending Hee Haw telegrams over a series of tubes.
You guys do such a fantastic job, it should be us thanking you. Thank you for everything.

It's all well deserved Roeb. Just sent a thank you your way as well!
roebeet
Sent some money your way. I am enjoying my GTab because of all the time you put into making the device worth keeping.
Keep up the good work.
Happy Holidays
James
Merry Christmas! And thank you!
Donated too. I'm just reviving my skills as an old skool linux and java developer and hacking away at the Gtab is just what I needed to both get into the Andorid platform, while having fun at same time!! Thanks Roebeet for all the hard work and thank your wife for being the longsuffering "tech widow".
BTW: Also ordering the dock to get the pinouts to build a better docking station (HDMI + built in USB hub) -- so looking forward to giving back a little in the near future!
I have been a viewer of this site for quite some time and you Devs have took my sgs4g from a random rebooting piece of poop to a bad ass high end smart phone. Iv been here since the bionix frost was dropped by team whisky and have loved all the team acid roms since. You guys obviously have amazing coding skill and are making this a user made device, And i mean you all not just team acid, M4xM4n, Erikmm, Raver, Whitehawk, Krylon, AntonX, Hampsterblade, Thomas raines, Bhundven (Pretty skilled guy there), And many more, your all beating samsungs definition of the sgs4g. But theres a problem it seems when things get hard some of you get overwhelmed, Stay true to the goals please ignore the rest. Not pointing fingers but there are a few devs who have bailed out in the past and came back or didnt at all. i know these noobs who come in are absolutly rediculous and stuiply annoying but please just ignore them. And when it come to conflicts between you all like when the airfuip and team nerd thing happend, Just remeber at one point this section was flourishing and everyone got along thats when we had alot or roms come out, We all love this phone and wanna see you do great things to it, and you guys love either the attention, or the coding because i know M4xM4x and thomas rains, have both said they work more when there not posting every little fix and patch. They give more time to the rom and less to us for a reason users so stop the flaming crap and devs you keep doing what you do. BTW it would be great to have a working CM7 by the end of the week...
Just kidding lol
good 1
+1 on this. I just purchased one to replace a lost SGS 4G, so I will be lurking and patiently waiting for some more excellent roms.
kcb
I wish everyone supported what you say. I still have the exact same relation with team acid. Only bhundven seems to get along with me. I how they realize that I am a good person, and I have tried to fix the mistakes.

Been a fan and a rom flasher from back in the phandroid days. Lets thank the devs for coming to XDA and keeping our phones alive! Shout out to isaac, whyzor, mantera and the countless other devs for whom we owe much gratitude. Donation pending...

Yeah it's time to get our community rocking!!
im excited to see the first joint projects you's release, seems like you've got basically the whole squad minus austrie, atleast for now lol
Yeah I think we are going to get a lot solved as we work together as a team. I finally got my first built done and will be testing it out today. Not sure what works yet but will see
I just wanted to take some time to show some well deserved appreciation to the Infuse devs. You guys are the "good stuff" and took a phone that was left in the dust and turned it into a gem. I also appreciate your families for their patience for all the time you've spent working on the device. I'm sure some nights weren't that "easy" if you know what I mean. These past 8 months have been really cool, especially when I had to show people what my phone was capable of doing even though it was deemed "old tech". I will also miss the community, you're some of the most helpful I've seen in these forums, and I've frequented the others, and the infuse community has been top notch! All I gotta say, is I'll miss you guys.
Thanks: the collective (all of you), entropy, qkster, experiment, Scott.hart.bti, bigfau, jscott30, bigjoe2675, Zen arcade, JT, jblparisi, dman, AdamOutler...I know I forgot a bunch, but you know who you are.
Lastly, if I can give my $0.02 to noob and/or power flasher, patience is a virtue, and reading and searching will get you an answer to a question that's already been addressed. Much respect!
