And, I would like to know if it's possible to install App2SD on this phone by this method : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=888940
Or if it's better to use SuperOneClick.
And I would like to know if someone tryed that on European version of XT720.

I confirm that UniversalAndroot work in European version of XT720, my french XT 720 was rooted.
I have a problem with Link2SD, I make an ext2 partition and insert ext2.ko but Link2SD show an error when I launch it. He don't recognize ext2 partition.
Please help.
PS: How to be sure that ext2.ko is inserted ?

If you have adb shell, then "lsmod" will list all kernel modules loaded. BTW can you please show how exactly are you trying to load ext2.ko? Did you copy it to /system/lib/modules ? How does your SD card partition look like? Do you have /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 as FAT and /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 as ext2? What's the directory listing of /dev/block/vold/ ?

OK from what I have learned today. Got my Paladin today with ICS 4.0.3 installed but after a few problems removing Chinese apps and changing to US android market. It became necessary to do a factory reset/restore from with in settings. The Paladin restored to 4.0.1??????
Now on rooting, when I was on 4.0.3 the update.zip listed here would not root the 4.0.3 but the Chinese Z4root did root it, then I had to use the superuser.zip from here to achieve superuser. After restore on ICS 4.0.1 the Chinese Z4root would not gain root as on 4.0.3 but the file here renamed update.zip and superuser.zip worked great.
Hope this might help someone. ALSO, if anyone knows where to get the 4.0.3 stock update I need it.

You could check uplaytablet, they are supposed to be the American distributor for Ainol and offer English ROMs.

Yep.......i have already rooted and tried magic but still no way to run basic apps like skype candy crush or whatever most needed apps. The tablet is owned by a child so if i canno't make it run anny good games it will be useless.

I've never understood the numbering/labeling of the Korean releases, actually--the leaked file has always been called 79.11, but it seems to be called 79.33 in forums and internally even, so whatevs . These are the ones I have collected that I can upload somewhere if fjfalcon's mirror doesn't work:

The device has froyo 2.2, but it's a bad version, no imarket, no well managed language, etc....
I've been able to root with z4root, and I need some basic rom, clean 2.2 or 2.2.1, to replace the original one.
The Acer beTouch E210 has the same processor and similar basic characteristics.
I appreciate any ideas, experiences, ....

If a colleague has the file, please contact me so I can do the experiment.
All ideas are welcome, the chinese device isn't important, the really important is the challenge, : for 40$ get a mobile fully operative, upgradable and 100% compatible.

Recovery is : VolUP + Call + Reject(power) then wait until you see the droid. Then press call again.
Problem is how do you upgrade the firmware.

let me check it in about 8 hours when I'm on home, I see that if works that link will create some files, then I doesn't know how you will put that on phone, because I not find any driver that works on the a810, I not sure if flashtool or some tool can connect to this a810 with some driver, but at least I will dump rom and put on some file sharing site if can regards

Hello, try one of the fuxk docomo apk´s (Ver. 1.1 - 3) on the link above. One of them should work on your phone.
However don´t forget to install newest busybox before you start the app, and of course your phone should be rooted!

does the flash file method is using RSD lite? when i searched for xml its asking me to check file. something like xml its damaged or missing some file association.
i´ve downloaded the file again and it keeps saying the same. whta can i do?
PD: problem resolved. the problem was that i was using windows 10, then i take the same rom in another pc with windows xp and worked perfect.

As of right now, you can't. But from the looks of some people on this thread. There is a few people who are slowly finding ways to access parts of the flash memory that is locked. So I don't know about you, but I'm not giving up. lol
Also I found this and actually used it two days ago.
It has all the Updates if I am not mistaken.
