One of my friends changed a setting on my phone and now when anyone on my contacts calls out auto answers and goes to speaker phone.
Anyone know how to fix it.
I'm pretty sure it was a phone setting and not an app, but not sure.
Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe settings > Call settings > All calls > Answering call > Answering mode?
Mine is unchecked.

Yep that's the place. You can also set the home key to answer your calls.
Mine is also unchecked

Do you use VLingo? I believe there is a setting in there that does that.
Another suggestion is go into Settings/applications/manage applications and choose Call Settings and Phone and clear defaults and data.
Don't have vlingo.
Tried clearing the data and no go.
*Sigh*

Has anyone noticed that when u go into contacts there is a history tab that saves every email, mms, sms & call sent or recieved by the phone. This is very annoying when u go to erase ur call & sms log as you also have to go into contacts and erase the history log also. Is there anyway to turn this off, is there a change in froyo?
Thanks in advance

Still has never worked for me... i've set it numerous times to just show calls, they all still show back up eventually. Don't know why the settings won't stay?
Thanks i'll try this and report back.

Oh that's the accessibility feature called talkback I think. To turn it off you have to go into Browser Settings or System settings to turn it off. I can't tell you precisely where to go as my xoom isn't with me at the moment.

Settings
Accessibility
Under there you have a check box for turning on Accessibility, then under that options for SoundBack and Talkback.
How can I stop ICE from showing the make phone/internet call option when trying to make a phone call?

I'm not sure what's going on but I can't get vibration off with sound on when SMS comes in via Hangouts..
The most obvious culprit is in the Hangouts settings themselves.. under the SMS section it clearly says vibrate..
Which I have unchecked.. & rechecked to uncheck again...
It's not helping
I didn't see anything in Sound settings that looked helpful.. or G3TweakBox..
That's just me though..
Any advice ?
Maybe look under the Sound system setting?

Ahhhhh that's what I was looking for. Its slightly different on Lollipop. I expected the data option to be next to force stop.
Many thanks!
