Hi!
I would like to hide the status bar on Android.
I know that some apps do that like adw.launcher, but what I'd like is to change android source code in order to hide the status bar.
Do you know how can it be done?
Thanks
My preference is the line across the top of the status bar from the MIUI days on my DX. Selecting the line option would hide the icon.
Found an app that will accomplish the first half of this. But it will not hide the icon.
Poke around on ROM Toolbox, but all you can do is change the icons.
Don't mind editing via ninjamorph if that is what it takes.
Running Beans' rom.
I already did some modification the status bar to make it transparent, but one thing that annoy me a lot is the divider of the toogle of quick setting, I can't find any similar image.png in drawable hdpi as well as an XML in res/layout, anyone here can help where those dividers are located? or tell me the location of XML code? for further information, see the attachment (red-circled ones)
If you just want a transparent status bar, restore everything like it was before, then install Xposed Framework and Gravitybox, and you can set a transparent status bar there.
Transparency
ya, if you need just to make it transparent, Gravity box is all you need.
But for the dividers, there is nothing in it. Please let me know if you find out anything about the dividers. :good:
Hi there,
In currently running RAY side bar, but it has an icon in the status bar...
Are there any apps that exist that allow the launching of apps from inside the system tray? (Thus allowing me to remove the sidebar)
Everything I've found is rather old in the play store
Anyone please?
I've tried 4 different exposed module's and haven't been able to successfully change the icons on my H810(10b). Has anyone found a module that did work to change the nab and status bar color? Other then running a theme engine is their any way to change the icons in the system directory? I'd really like to do some theming and color changes aswell.
