Hi Guys I'm trying to get this App working on my Mac.
I've been to their website and i still can get anywhere with it.
I have installed it via their website and when i start the App up on my phone I get a setup message.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I've been using Gmote for months, but after seeing not a single update to the app or website (copyright 2008) since I got it, I'm pretty sure development has been abandoned. I'll probably check out Unified Remote once the 2.0 update is released. Sounds like it will have a lot more features. Unfortunately, the server is apparently only available for PC.

Ok - I am looking for some way to run Sony's LocationFree on my PPC. There used to be a solution called NetFront LocationFree Player, but it is no longer being sold. Even the places that say they have it - don't.
Is there any other frontend software that I can use. I don't want to changes solutions completely (aka Slingbox or Orb) since I use my PSP heavily with this service.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. (Or if you know where I can buy that software would work too!) Thanks!

Well you guys should checkout ORB.COM. Its easy, free!, and does everything.
It turns your PC into a server (location free) that just runs in the background.

the cab actually wont help because there is no way to get a serial. trust me on this. ive even emailed netfront/access about it. serials only work on one unit and no one who uses this is giving up their code.

I'm a little confused. All the media that I want like pictures and videos, I can easily put right on my phone. The only reason I would want Orb would be to stream my cable tv. After spending the money on a decent tuner card, I could have just bought a Slingbox. What are the advantages of Orb?

Hi everyone. I've been hearing mention of some sort of Internet Sharing application or addon to the comm manager, that would allow me to turn my phone into some sort of hub. I'd like to be able to use my phone's connection with my iPod Touch, (or perhaps, other devices), so my searching is what has lead me here.
However, I don't really know what the "defacto" modification is for getting this capability. I've seen several threads already. Also, they seem to lack in documentation. They come in cab files - would that mean I can just download and install from my phone right away?
So if anyone can recommend me a wifi sharing app, (preferably for the HTC Ozone), I would be very grateful.

I am extremely frustrated and need help.
After much trouble, to the best of my knowledge unrooted and relocked my device via oneclick to receive the OTA. I got the OTA and it installed no problem.
Now today I pay to rent a movie Google takes my money no problem I start to download Inception and I get a big 'banana you!' error 49.
What would cause this?
I started to look into it and I find out that this error is for folks with rooted devices. So immediately I get root checker from market and confirmed that I am not rooted.
Now I have been reading around and don't really see anything that would help me resolve the issue. I have adb set up and can manage to copy and paste commands pretty good but when I try to use fastboot commands nothing happens.
Given that this forum is visited by users of all ages, I have removed your profanity. That said, I hope someone has the solution for your media woes.
I can't help with the error but can tell you that your not missing much with inception.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this thread BUT, here in South Africa we have DSTV, our Digital Satellite TV. They have a Mobile App for Android on Google Play: .

Play store says this app will work on my phone, and it states its for 2.3. I have the HTC Evo 3D, which i imported. These DSTV developers (so they called) make this app specific to different HTC's, they have a supported phones list. I ave NO idea why they do this as it is Android 2.3??
I REALLY Need someone to unlock this app for the Evo 3D, when i install the app and RUN it, the states this:
"Your Android Device is not supported by this application" It seems to do a server check before this message check.
Please let me know your thought or where to post this?
