What is not working.
First off:
You will need ClockworkMod 3.0 to flash this rom (uses ext4 partitioning) - You can find this in Rom Manager.
Now:
Download the latest from from Evervolv.com
Make sure to do a full wipe, even if you're coming from an older build, just to make sure. Also, flash Google Apps that are also on that download page.

Not to distract from your work, how stable is the CWM 3.0 recovery over the one in the perm root thread? Would you suggest folks consider moving to it "full time"?

Not as of now.

I would take some time to mention in the original post that clockwork mod 3.0 rids of the widely used update-script so only updater scripts can be used, maybe not to much of a diffrence but for flashing older mods your best bet is to stay on 2. Just a heads up.

Actually, the CWM 3.x.x.x should have it's own thread for folks to report bugs and get updated versions, etc.

Haven't cracked open the boot.img yet to take a look does the stock boot.img support ext4 or would you have to ruu to get back to the previous filesystem and rom?

You need CWM 2.5 or whatever in order to restore older nandroids. CWM3 won't restore them for some reason.

I don't believe the md5 sum would be the same, but I'm probally wrong on that. As far as older roms go they don't mount any of the partitions as ext4 to get mounted by cwm3 which supports only ext4 fs in this case. Devs would have to add ext4 mounting to their scripts.

is cw3 wipe the same as VR superwipe?
pretty much. i just do the auto wipe, then do the individual wipes
Well I'll try it again and hopefully it'll work. But anyway how does it run?
from what i've seen so far, pretty darn quick compared to regular cm9.
Sorry for the double thanks. They were both supposed to be a reply.
My concern is since this is not a theme but an entire ROM are we going to have to go through trouble shooting this as well now. It looks great and I am going to give it a try but I'm not into working through another ICS theme. Is there a way to strip the theme and install just that into an existing ICS theme. Even if it is one of the CM9 variants???
Beautiful work though. Will let you know more after downloading. Also can this be flashed over an existing CM9 ROM? If not sure I will Nandroid give it a shot and give feedback.

That doesn't matter. You don't need to set it up or anything. Once you get a good install on CM9, just reinstall the CM10.
You worried about an official cm9 but not cm10? Lol just giving you a hard time
But yeah flash any ics Rom...it will require a double flash most likely....as in flash like normal, reboot, get stuck on Samsung/cyanogen logo, three finger back to recovery (hold volumes and power) reflash and your good, once you boot up boot back to recovery and flash cm10
Make sure you remove any sdcards before flashing cm10

OK- this will work- take your time and read... it is not hard to do and it will come in handy if you are going to be flashing roms. Thanks to qkster and Entropy.

Post 1 will get you back to stock and post 2 will restore root.
After you are successful with this, flash a CM9 rom such as Entropy's Unofficial build here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1601844
Run this for a little while then flash the CM10 rom of your choice.
