ok i have posted other threads about this and no luck i am looking for some one to make a minions bootscreen and maybe a live wallpaper i am willing to donate please someone help
What kind of minions stuff? The only thing I can think of that wouldn't look absolutely retarded as a bootscreen or live wallpaper would be either the title screen or the end, when they are having their little competition.
To do that, someone would have to be able to strip the titles and credits from those scenes. I doubt that's going to happen
i didnt know how hard or if possible just thought would be cool i was thinking the part when they had meeting and the one shot the rocket launcher would be cool or one of them dancing with the android guy
they have a live wallpaper in the market called "shake them all" its originally little android guys but you can change it to many different things, one being minions
been looking for bootanimations like that myself

these are splash screens not boot animations to hold you over until someone makes boot animations of them
(3) is the group shot and (2) is the other. if you use you, know the drill. i'm not to blame if something goes wrong, download to your sd card,wipe cache,dalvik twice to be safe and flash, reboot should work

I have to say this thread has well over a 1,000 views and no one has stepped up.. I am going to take matters in my own hands and attempt to create it myself. I just spent the better part of 5 hours working on a concept boot Animation for it... I will upload it to youtube in about 30 min and post the link for you to tell me what you think.
Delayed till tomorrow night. Turns out I made my pngs the wrong size and I have to redo all of them. Batch job underway.
I'd totally be into this, but like many here, I lack the knowledge to pull it off myself.... looking forward to hearing progress!
Update Tested a Upload to my phone and it looks good but Am going to resize the image to make it larger. right now it's about the size of the Normal nexus Logo on boot and I want a full screen effect. I am at work so I will try to get it done when I get home then I will Post the update.zip for those interested in flashing the Alpha Concept bootanimation. I am glad some of you are interested. Please take it easy on me as this is my first real attempt at anykind of graphic design.. I am impressed with myself for what I half already made and I already have had several ideas for improving what i will post later today.
P.S. In a effort to keep this thread Organized I am going to start editting the first post so keep and eye out today and tomorrow. I got 3 hours slept last need after working on teachign myself Photoshop and 3d Studio Max. =) If I actually get really efficient I am going to make many more Boot animations and possible help some of you with requested boot screens.
First Post Updated with Alpha Release - For some Reason the Video will not go full screen. I even used other boot animations as a reference and still can not get it to go full screen. This is a major frustration at this point anyone that can enlightenten me why? my images are currently in 512 by 800 resolution in PNG's Originally I made them 512 x 256.
I have updated the Animation again this time with the phoenix graphic loaded on it and text in which I believe would look better Animated. Give me your feedback. New files is Alpha 0.1.2. Let me know if you have any feedback.

For the Samsung Continuum, we are in desperate need of people who are good with designing and changing graphics and icons... Trailblazer has done most of the hard work in accessing/customizing the ticker, however neither he, nor I, have the graphic ability to make good looking graphics and/or icons... For those with Continuums, if you are interested in contributing, and gaining your 15 minutes of fame (okay, maybe not ), either send me a PM, or reply to this thread. We will ALWAYS give credit where credit is due!
On the other hand, if you want lame or none-existent icons/graphics, I can always call up Kolourpaint and throw something ugly together. But, trust me, you don't want to see that. Remember the old 8 bit Atari graphics? See, I thought so...

Hey Shadow, are there particular icons that you're looking for? I'd like to give it a shot, however there are probably many who are far more accomplished digitally. If you could give me an idea I'd be willing to post a couple here and you all can let me know how crummy they are ;-)

Specifically, I have a couple ideas xD
For the first one, maybe a blue ring that would go around the WeatherBug Weather image on the ticker... As in, when you click the weather icon, it would clearly show that you areeee actually clicking it for once
Second idea, maybe a few small, colored dots that could be placed on the main ticker display... These Dots, which i could have say, for example, a small "M" for messaging, would launch Messaging when clicked... Preferably green, orange, and purple or whatever, then another blue one that i could set as the image when clicked....
Third, maybe a nice button to go on the main page that changes when clicked (just make two images) and maybe has "Continuum" or something catchy

well i used to work for a graphics design firm and clothing company a few years back. this weekend i could hook up my good old media pc and get it updated with the apps (adobe suite/paint) i could cook up a few things and will get back to a thread (ill post in this one for starts) feel free to pm me about it and throw ideas. havent been around lately (hands full taking my son cross state back to his mommas) but new ec07 is going pretty good for me. yall have been great to me.

Dude, it would be miles better than my stick figures... Trust me. I don't have an artistic bone in my body.. I would do better turning my 7 year old daughter loose on creating the icons... She didn't get the artistic gene from me...

Hey, since Verizon and Samsung view us as red-headed-step-children (no offense meant to any red-heads out there ), it is up to use in the trenches with this orphaned phone to fix the problems with it.

Did the mouse eat the keyboard? Did the cat eat the mouse? (Okay, enough!)
AFAIK, the icons that are used within Android are PNG's not GIF's. I know you can't animate a PNG, so I think it may be a sequence. Trailblazer would be in a better position to answer that item.

Well I finally figured out what I was doing wrong just a little while ago and finally got these two animations to work. I would post pic's of what they look like but the limitations are preventing me from doing so, (sorry). Anyways, hope you guys like them!
This is optimized for the HTC EVO 4g, but can easily be modified for other phone models.
EDIT: Was bored as hell the other day, so I decided to create a "do a barrel roll" boot animation. Included are 2 audio files, one with a 5 second pause because the animation lags a little for me at the beginning, and one without the lag.
And if you like them/use them, please hit the thank button. It will encourage me to keep uploading whatever I do for you all, (even if making a boot animation is pretty easy, I'd still appreciate it..).

Is one where is like a floor of 3D Cubes that move up and down all the time.
I saw it many times and suddenly realized I want it...and now cannot find it! :laugh:
