I've used the search feature but not found much to help.
I've just got hold of a HD2 on T-mobile but it looks as though they've removed the youtube app from the phone.
Any ideas how I can get it back or get another youtube widget for the phone?

Thanks for the download link. I have been wondering how I could get the app on my phone. One thing though, when you into data services and try to login to the YouTube app it's just saying "connection error"
I've tried WiFi and through TMOB, both connections say the same.. Any idea's? I would like to login so I can see all my subscriptions etc.
you need to phone t-mobile customer services. they treat youtube as an over-18 website and is hence restricted. phone them up and request they enable access - i think theyll ask your date of birth, if u 18 or over, then they will enable access.
That's mad. Surely they know I'm over 18, I just upgraded my contract with them when you have to over 18 for...

Just logged on to my T-mobile account and content log is removed.
I installed this on my tmobile (UK) HD2 and it stopped videos from playing! When I uninstalled it, they started working again. Any ideas how to fix this?

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM MATE driveing me mad how can t-mobileremove youtube from its rom i have been on the phone to them all week i have the hd2 as well. i have spoken to htc as well they told me t-mobile removed youtube dont know why i cant download it as well can someone help

gents gents relax.what you need to do is go to m.google.com/youtube by using the internet explorer on your phone (will not work with opera or skyfire). after installation you should now have the working youtube app and the ability to watch your mp4s via the sense video player
alternatively you can update to a new official or cooked rom via hspl. I was like you guys until a few weeks ago and trust me once I started flashing my phone I've never looked back

yeah i plan on flashing to a new rom,im just finding it abit daunting ....been reading alot of these post to check ill be doing it the correct way!
what rom and radio do u suggest to use ?

don't worry fella, I was ****ting myself at first as well but it really is a piece of piss, only takes a few minutes. check out the stickys on the rom section and you should be fine. they also have some youtube links there as well which I found really useful
as for which roms, id start of with an official update then move onto duttys rom

To remove what? You don't have to be on wifi, just get an internet connection. Yes, I removed you because you didn't have any phone in there Now that you do, just ask to join in again
its working now. for some reason it just didnt work at all, i guess doing it with wifi first made behave and work on 3g

Sure Just let it run...
I installed this twice on my N1, FC's when I try to start it... instantly.
After the first try failed I rebooted, cleared caches, started up again but still the same issue..

I don't know about anyone else, but my version of Swype ran out and I couldn't use it anymore. Found this. It says it's for the EVO but it works fine on my DInc so far. Download the apk, put on SD card, open it with a file manager (I used ASTRO) and just hit upgrade. At first it said I couldn't install that apk, but I waited 10 seconds and it worked. I hit upgrade and it works flawlessly so far. Also, it's version 1.61

I do not see a mic choice, it looks just like the older version I had that expired.
I used the one for the EVO and it works. I'm going to try the other one.
Thanks sooo much, it was hard to find a working version of it. At least harder than i thought it would be. on another note if your used to a different version swype this one may look a bit different (the layout and font of the keys) but its not a big deal at all. thanks again!!

This is a massive fail for me. Says it is configured for another device and doesn't let my swype.
Try this one. It is 1.56 so not the latest but it has the mic and is skinned like the built in HTC keyboard
And it will not expire

Are you saying you get the expired message when you install this version that I posted?
Are you installing it over an existing install? If so uninstall the other one and install this one.

anybody with a working swype with the red theme? i really liked that one.
I like the default, but would really like to try out some mod version, red/black seemed like a favorite with everyone. If anyone has a link, post it up.
The .apk contains a folder with all the images of the themed keyboards. Tried replacing the images and re-zipping and it won't install.
I think the zip needs to be signed or something.
It has to be as easy as swapping the images.
Any help?
This app is pretty cool i just purchased it 2 days ago and does what it says really happy with my purchase, although only thinkg they need to work on is locating the number on the google map. Cause when u click show on map all it does it shows usa n jst stayes there so yeahh. But other than that is pretty cool, just wish they could locaye the private calls that would be nice here is the link to try it out 7 day trial

Oh ok, but please try to reinstall the app. We actually put up a update just today that fixed a few minor issues so maybe thats what you are seeing
