Since I hadn't seen this posted I wanted to let everyone know that they can get full working flash on their Evo's without having to install Froyo. I in no way take credit for this work (AuxLV originally posted this in the Nexus One forum). Without any further delay here is the apk. Just install and enjoy!

if it is bunk (not sure yet) then it would probably be best to uninstall since it is probably slowing down our browsers, anyone have any flash sites or heavy flash ad sites i can try for you?
flash adds are working nicely on gizmodo so far.
updat, its doing something now that i'm on a video but it got hung up gonna refresh, guy streaming boondocks where you doing it from.

I just get little hour glasses in all of the flash spots, and they never load. I'm using wifi, so it isn't a speed issue.

I'm able to stream from youtube with no problem. Are you using android 2.1 or froyo? I'm running everything stock and it's working. maybe try reinstalling the apk and then try closing your browser and reopening it. Not sure why it isn't working for you.

No. I didn't have to remove anything. All I did was install that apk and restart my browser. After doing that site that normally would not have worked are working for me now.
Adultswim.com works. Even loaded a flash game.

I don't know about anyone else, but my version of Swype ran out and I couldn't use it anymore. Found this. It says it's for the EVO but it works fine on my DInc so far. Download the apk, put on SD card, open it with a file manager (I used ASTRO) and just hit upgrade. At first it said I couldn't install that apk, but I waited 10 seconds and it worked. I hit upgrade and it works flawlessly so far. Also, it's version 1.61

I got the new version straight from the Swype beta, I pulled it from my phone. Hopefully this works for you all.

I do not see a mic choice, it looks just like the older version I had that expired.
I used the one for the EVO and it works. I'm going to try the other one.
Thanks sooo much, it was hard to find a working version of it. At least harder than i thought it would be. on another note if your used to a different version swype this one may look a bit different (the layout and font of the keys) but its not a big deal at all. thanks again!!

This is a massive fail for me. Says it is configured for another device and doesn't let my swype.
Try this one. It is 1.56 so not the latest but it has the mic and is skinned like the built in HTC keyboard
And it will not expire

Are you saying you get the expired message when you install this version that I posted?
Are you installing it over an existing install? If so uninstall the other one and install this one.

anybody with a working swype with the red theme? i really liked that one.
I like the default, but would really like to try out some mod version, red/black seemed like a favorite with everyone. If anyone has a link, post it up.
The .apk contains a folder with all the images of the themed keyboards. Tried replacing the images and re-zipping and it won't install.
I think the zip needs to be signed or something.
It has to be as easy as swapping the images.
Any help?

Just bought Omnia7. I live in lithuania and I can't get market working, it doesn't dowload anything, I get errors when I try to download. And now after creating new live id. I don't have functions to download apps... How to get it working? :]

Seems like a common issue. I doubt it will go on much longer. Probably just updating small things and made a mistake.

That worked like a champ! Just one note... When I started back up I kept getting an error "Google Talk failed to Authenticate" apparently this also kept me from downloading apps in the market. Easy fix though I just did a factory reset from the phone and that seems to have fixed it... Thanks again though!
