I just bought Wikango for the Xperia X10.
It works great but it has a small problem.
I get all the warnings and stuff, but I can't report a trap.
To report a trap you just tap the screen and follow the instructions, but when I tap the screen on the X10 nothing happens. The little buttons where you can access the settings all works perfect but a tap anywhere else on the screen does nothing.
Is this a known problem ?

After a soft reset my screen alignment is gone and it takes some time and work to get to screen in the settings window (because the alignment is lost)to solve the prolem Has anyone have the same problem and hopefully a solution?
What device are you using?
I've never encountered this problem, but you can navigate with the dpad, or alternatively make a shortcut to the screen control panel and launch that on every reset (put it in your startup folder).
Bad solution to a strange problem though!

screen alignment
Thx, the shortcut is not a solution since I cannot click where I want. Dpad is the solution that I use, but it is very ennoying.I am using a QTEK2020
I meant make a direct shortcut to the particular control panel screen. Then one click with dpad will take you straight into screen alignment settings.
But whichever works!

screen
THX, but I don't find a way to make a shortcut to screen or screen alignment in the settings screen.
I'm afriad I don't have my phone in front of me, I left it at home by accident , but look here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnppcgen/html/ppc_tcuts2.asp
I'll try to make the shortcut if you have no luck.

I am new here
just bought a SONY xperia Tipo Dual
i am unable to remove any widgets from home screen,
i tried tapping and holding but for a fraction of second it gets into editable mode and it just opens the widget app
what to do
thanks in advance
You press and hold, the icon or widget goes into editable mode, the apps icon in the bottom center changes into a trash can, and you then drag the icon/widget into the trash. This is all done without lifting your finger from the icon until you drop it in the trash.

Does this 'touchscreen problem' only happen with widgets, or does it happen with more things, more apps, more actions. when you swipe ur screen for example, on a webpage or something, does it show any bad habits there?
Hi,
I have the same problem with unresponsive touchscreen on my Xperia Miro. Very often when I press and try to put some app or wigdet in home screen to other place of the screen, or to recycle bin, I can't do it. It seems like the phone get lost my finger's touch. On settings I have problems with scrolling.
Did some of You try to give the phone to service?
Were they fix this problem in service?

There is a touchscreen calibration patch for tipo, don't know if there's one for miro (search it)
Otherwise return to Sony, they should fix it.

Hello I recently encountered a bug in my XPERIA Z, navigation buttons (back, home, multitask) are not functioning. I noticed that factory resetting phone and setting up phone for the first time the other buttons (Next and Back) are functioning in the same touchscreen area as well some third party apps like dolphin browser navigation bars located at the same spot are also working.
I factory reset the phone, flashed KitKat, flashed Lollipop but also my problem is not fixed.
Any help will be greatly welcomed.
Thank You
Try go to navbar settings and see if anything says off or something like that

Hello,
After a few days of using the phone, I installed Lightning Launcher and set it as default. I got some bugs with the lockscreen (i'll explain later) so I reverted back to the Xperia original launcher.
Now, after not using LL, I still have that same issue. I'm pretty sure it hasn't anything to do with LL or anything, but I prefer mentionning it just in case.
(tl;dr)
Whenever I press power button, it is supposed to immediately scan the fingerprint. It doesn't anymore and instead of the normal lockscreen I have a completely blank screen, only with Back and Home button.
Finger is not scanned, I can't swipe in any direction BUT, if I press the Home button, lockscreen shows up (it slides from the left side), as if I already swiped to the right.
That's pretty annoying when the purpose of fingerprint scan is to immediately unlock
Got any idea ? Somebody has the same problem maybe ?
EDIT:
Okay my bad. I uninstalled LL completely and the problem didn't show up anymore. I reinstalled because I remembered it can also be used as a lockscreen, and i disabled that in its settings. I'll check if problem continues but if not, I'll come back to inform about it.
Good morning,
For several weeks I have been observing and unfortunately the problem appears more and more often, the disappearance of the touch of the display ...
I am right-handed, so I use the phone a lot with my right hand on the right edge - at the height of my thumb, the connection between the keyboard and the communicator, once in a while my touch in the area of the p/0 and park buttons above - also other keyboard buttons do not work properly, keys next to it.
I use Swiftkey but never had a problem with it - could it be the keyboard that's the problem?
hardware issue, send it in for RMA asap
RMA u mean to samsung support?
Hi,
Samsung support is very stubborn (compared to dell which is very pro-customer).
I received the following advice:
1. Turn off the phone, enter the android menu and clear the cache - done.
2. Through samsung members, attach the error log from the phone and report the problem - I did.
I wonder what Samsung's next steps will be.
I have had the phone since October 22.
The problem with the screen appears more and more often.
*video* In the attachment I leave a video that scrolling (of a previously loaded page) just at the moment when the display goes crazy - as you can see (touch trace) I try to scroll in a classic way by moving my finger on the screen, but the page moves only as much as I move my finger, as if something somewhere causes an additional touch to stop scrolling. As you can see in the next part of the video, it improves for a while and then the same thing again.
Anyone had similar? How did it end?
Thanks greetings.
