Is there a way to set it so that the capacitive buttons never light up?
err is there a way to use NoLED where the buttons dont turn on when the icon blinks?
thanks!
According to Daniel Velazco no. He is the creator of the app LEDs hack.. it is on the market

Greetings,
I was wondering if there is an app for the T-Mobile HTC Sensation phone that would essentially let you control the LED backlights of the home, menu, back, and search buttons. I was using Light Flow, but I am looking for a pulsing, not a solid light. Is there anyone who has any insight?
Thanks for any help!
James
No app that I know of, but you can use Leedroid Tweaks.
Which has the option to disable the capacitive buttons' backlight
Hi,
the keys on the type cover to control the display brightness do not work. Is there a driver missing? Also the mute key does not work whereas the search and share key do work perfect. My Surface Pro 3 is just a couple of hours old and I did not install anything yet.

Click to collapse
Umm, try holding the Fn key and tapping the Caps key. That toggles the status of the function keys.
OR Hold the Fn key and tap the required function key as when in toggled state the roles are reversed.
But then, as far as I know there is no brightness key for the display there. What looks like a bright light icon is actually a short cut to the Settings menus.
Didja read the manual???
Hi thanks for the information. I found out that these keys do not control the display brightness but the brightness of the type cover' keys.

Hi there.
I've got a hardware issue with my Nexus 5... the famed powerbutton stick issue.
Well, I'm better at hardware than software so I have a question. Is there a way to program or use an app to have an indicator for whenever the power button is activated? Such as having the LED light on the N5 light up whenever the power button is pressed? Or maybe have an indicator on the screen of the phone? The LED would be preferable, as it is clearly visible even when the screen is off.
This will help me see if the power button sticks and try to save it before it reboots. I've already minimized it's use by using a proximity sensor app to wake.
Any other help would be great!
Thanks
You can use the Galaxy Button Lights app to turn off the touch key lights but is it possible to simply control the brightness of them?
They're rather bright when you're in bed in the dark.
Has anyone figured out a way to dim the capacitive buttons? Are the LED's used by Samsung even dimmable?
It seems my capacitive buttons are not lit to the brightness I would like. They are too dim. Has anybody found a way to change the brightness of the buttons?
Edit: The more I use this I pretty much know where the button are, but still would like to be able to make them brighter during the day.
