Hey folks,
I´ve heard that the firmware update which should bring internetsharing to the E900, has arrived quite some time ago already. However I do not seem to get it.
I´m on:
OS: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware Version: 1.1.2.10
Google can´t help me, so hopefully the pros can
Best regards =)
Yeah, I believe that Optimus 7 update has already come out depending on your carrier.
I'm waiting for the C900 Quantum wifi hotspot update... does anybody have any info on whether or not that will happen and/or when?
Even, i am waiting for the update in Quantum. But there is no sign yet.
I have written a mail to LG asking for it. No reply from LG either.

As said above it depends on your carrier. There's a thread on the optimus 7 forum discussing that. Vodafone's already got it in most Europe, as far as I know.
Sent from my LG-E900 using Board Express
strange as i am on vodafone, but via a reseller....
I just got an update for my Quantum today but I don't see any WIFI hotspot in the settings!

please post your firmware and radio version, was it only the 7740 update or also an LG update?
LG-C900B
OS version:7.10.7740.16
Firmware:1.0.8.10
Hardware:1.1.0.0
Radio software:1.0.8.10
Radio hardware:0.3.5.0
Looks like it may just be the 7740 update. Any news on a WIFI hotspot update in the works?

Where exactly did you read that? i know its possible to some xoom 1 models but xoom2 not so sure.
Last night i whas overjoyed, finally recieved an ota message about an update available.. selected download,, nothing happened other than saying its downloading.. i kept my patience for about 5/6 hours and put the mz615 a side..afterthat nothing has downloaded at all and no ics or what so ever.. tried rescanning for updates, but nothing..
Contacted techsupport to ask whats happening and if they could resend the update to my device..
Same experience or did your update worked?

I got ICS since yesterday also, works really good, especially browsing has improved (no more square blocks missing when scrolling).
Hope JB won't take a year to get it onto the MZ615, since they already got it in the USA.
Hey guys,
I was very delighted and surprised to find the dialer bug in battery usage is gone after an OTA update minutes ago.
Updated software number: 1.57.861.4, stock rom.
So thankful that htc hasn't abandoned this phone. I can't wait to check my screen on time after the latest fix!! Did you guys get the same?

Good news! Which carrier did you get the OTA update from?
If someone have this RUU of this update, share it please, i'm need it
p/s: sr for my english
Can it be made a flashable .zip or a .apk from that?
That would benefit everyone and not only phones from certain carriers.

I'm in the UK - and have not received this update. How did you obtain it please ?
OP is dead?
Hey guys, I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar issue to me and how you resolved it.
I've searched the forums and found nothing more than what I've been doing.
A few months ago I dismissed the Lollipop update because I wasn't on WiFi for a few days. I dismissed it multiple times and then it stopped showing up. I went to check for system updates and it just said no available updates. Even now in January it's still saying the same thing and I haven't had any subsequent notifications to install the Lollipop update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :good:

I'm assuming you're still on 4.4.4. Sideload the update in the stock recovery.

Hi,
I have had same GPS issue as you and I found, that only way to solve it is change firmware to STOCK BUILD: G6-U00V100R001CHNC17B193.
This is original Chinese version, which is working very good for me. After installing I had to solve little problem with Google Play, but it was minor problem.
Unfortunately I forget where I downloaded it, but Google will help you.
Bye Petr
