Ditto. I never used any case for my HTC Touch HD or Hero.

I am using safe skin by casemate which is basically a usual silicon case. Fits tight and feels valuabale too , also the phone is not that slippery anymore

Case-mate is the best thing I have in my phone. I have the OtterBox, but that's not it. Quality workmanship and fit like a condom.

Just saw on the Seidio website that the Surface case is coming soon. Hope it's like the innocase II (now known as the Surface case) for the Nexus 1...seriously one of the best cases I've ever bought.
I got the Body Glove case also and it rocks. I ordered a tpu case from Korea on eBay and it did not fit well.

Me, too. I got the T-Mobile case and I love it. Fits perfectly and is textured for good grip. Doesn't pick up pocket lint like some soft cases. Quality is great, too.

how much is the the t-mobile case? tmobile cases are more expensive(relatively speaking).
I would like to find a clear silicone gel skin. There are a lot that have an argyle pattern on them but I'd hate to cover up such a nice looking phone.

Anybody use SGP cases?

I've used and had experience with the screen protectors, and they are top notch. I have not, however, used the cases. Anybody have any experience with these?
http://www.sgpstore.com/cell-phone/lg/g2/sgp-lg-su660-optimus-2x-leather-case-illuzion-series.html
If I go based on what I know of the screen protectors they are high quality and fit very well. But they are pricey, which is why I'm asking if anyone has used them before.
I have not used their leather cases, but I am currently using the silicone case and it is of pretty good quality (http://www.sgpstore.co.kr/shop/deta...co.kr/shop/big_section.php?cno1=1844&cafe_id=). Nice fit. Surface of the silicone case is coated with something that makes it dust-resistant. I am sure their leather cases will be good as well.

too bad the screen protector is for su660, which has a hardware button on the screen. but the case is really nice.
Ok so I got the case in today. It didn't come with a screen protector. I checked the website and it no longer says that it comes with one, either.
The case itself has an awesome feel. Not sticky like normal silicon cases at all. It's thin and adds very little bulk to the phone. I do wish, though, that they made a version specifically for the G2X that doesn't have the cutout for the DTV antenna.
The cutouts are all where they need to be and all cables fit like they are supposed to.

Case recommendations?

I have been looking for a case for my HTC Sensation 4G.
The main purpose is to save a phone in case of an accidental drop.
I read this amazon review
http://www.amazon .com/review/RGI8F3AW3MSD1/ref=cm_cr_pr_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0054NUFPS
Which is like the most comprehensive review I've seen over there.
So These are the cases that I'm considering
1) http://www.amazon .com/Case-Mate-CM014574-Tough-Case-Sensation/dp/B0054NUFPS/
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1251536
2) http://www.amazon. com/Trident-AG-SEN-BG-Aegis-Hybrid-Sensation/dp/B005H4I6GY/
3)http://www.boxwave .com/htc-sensation-4g-cases-and-covers/htc-sensation-4g-armor-case/bwpdd/pf-zzgc/
I appreciate your input on this
Thanks.
Looks like you already have done some research on this. But based on what you want....meaning in case of an accidental drop I think out of the ones you posted, the trident one is the one I think would be the best overall case. I personally use the seidio active case with kickstand with holster and it looks great and I feel safe in not having any exposed corners to chip or bump into.
GL
Thanks for the reply.

Sure, its in my mini review here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1282689
But you can try amazon or ebay. You may get it a bit cheaper there. I also know daydeal.com has them as well...I think lol...
But if you are international those choices may be hard. Thanks!
I think I narrowed it down to two. Now have to select one.
Is there anyone who had actually seen/used both?
1. amazon .com/Trident-AG-SEN-BG-Aegis-Hybrid-Sensation/dp/B005H4I6GY/
2. amazon .com/Seidio-CSK3HTSEN-BK-ACTIVE-Case-Sensation/dp/B005EEO4NQ/

Sorry I was incorrect in mentioning the trident case, it was the case mate that I was referring to as per video in that thread.
I'm using the Seido case right now. I love it. I've had it for about 2 months now. Glad I got this one. I like the fact that when you put it in the holster the screen faces in.
I use the Otterbox commuter series, but I think I'm going to switch to the Seidio Active. I don't like the fit of the Otterbox.
I posted a video review of these cases. It compares the Trident, Seidio, and CaseMate. It's in this forum somewhere.
Edit: its the link that kpjimmy posted.

I'm rockin the High Gloss Smoke TPU case:
http://tpu-cases.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=25
I LOVE this case. The only thing that bugs me is that oils from hands stays on the case, and feels a little disgusting. The other bad thing is that the opening for the micro-USB port is a little smaller than it should be.
Other than that, it's an amazing case. Very protective, sleek, doesn't collect dust, and looks good!
I'm thinking about buying the Body Glove custom fit case, which is a hard-shell case covered in soft-touch coating. At Wal-Mart for $16. Just to try it out.
Thanks. I was looking for some comparisons. The video review you linked was a good comparison.

Didn't see much good reviews on the body glove case.
Free case is good, but more than that I'm willing to pay of a case that will protect my $500 phone
My brother uses a Casemate Tough Case. As a rough-and-tumble kind of guy, he didn't even want to get a case for his phone until I made him, lol. So far he's dropped his phone numerous times with the case on and, I quote him, "It just bounces!. It's a pretty bulky case but if you're looking for protection, I'd recommend it.
Hi!First post, going to try to be useful immediately
I own CM Tough and I'm very satisfied with it,although i don't use it all the time..Dropped the phone 2 times with it on pavement(clumsy me:/) and nothing happened, even the case didn't get any scratches. Also i find it very easy wearing it in pocket, even though it is kinda robust.Compared it to some other case(dont know the brand) and i like CMT more..My vote goes to it.
I'm very satisfied with CM Tough too. It may seem a bit bulky but it still feels pretty good in my hands. It offers excellent protection and looks good too IMHO.

Im considering this
This is my first case for my SR. I have bought several cases since but keep coming back to the pop case. I just love it. Wished it had a kick stand. The Active Seidio is my second fav. Both are rugged but the pop case looks 'cleaner' to me.

I hope it works well for you. It looks like one of those silicone versions which I had two of. The problem with those (silicone) are after awhile, they tend to get loose and sag a bit. I got frustrated. Eventually I went back to the pop case. Overall, my preference is just hard cases I think. Again, I hope this case works out for you.

This one is much better quality than the $2 silicone cases we see on ebay. I agree that I am taking a chance with the silicon case. It offers zero protection against a fall, but it fits nicely in Belkin GPS Dash mount I have. I use this phone for GPS.

The diztronic case you got is actually pretty good. My friend has 1 on his atrix2 and it's holding up pretty well. I was actually thinking about getting that exact same case. I have a white sr and think that case would be perfect. Using a seidio surface case now and I think that case will work with the seidio holster...
i have one of these, its great and comfortable to hold in your hand.

Also the material is different. It does not "stick" in the pocket like other case. The grip is different.

What is the thinnest case available?

I really dislike using any case at all on my phones. I've never used them in the past. But this phone is just so darned slippery, a case is practically necessary to keep from dropping it all the time. So right now I'm using the Diztronic case, and while it is quite thin, it still IMHO adds significantly to the phone's size. Are there any cases that are more just like a thin skin? I am not looking for any drop protection; just looking to make the back of the phone less slippery. I suppose some kind of sticker could also do the job...
Any ideas appreciated. TIA!
Might want to check out ghost armor or something like a full body skin. Basically a screen protector but for your whole phone.
Or check out the incipio feather or one of the barely there cases.

Full body skins are a terrible idea and a recipe for destroying your phone by corrosion, especially on a device with a sealed battery like this one.
Use an HTC hard case or something similar. They are very light and thin, but they will also easily break if you take it off and put it back on many times.
I use the diztronic case and it adds almost no bulk yo the phone at all.
Body glove makes a nice thin case. I bought one at walmart for $20ish.
Thinnest cases are these thin shell cases. I have the black one and it's really thin and doesn't hide the beauty of the phone.

+1
I have both the black one and the transparent one.
They are really thin and add minimum bulk to the phone. However, they also barely protect the phone at all, probably only good for keeping the back of the phone from scratches.
At the back, the case is level with the red/blue ring around the camera lens, i doubt it protects the lens at all.
The transparent one has a frosted feel and is still pretty slippery, but it's better than without a case at all.
I would recommend the black one as it gives a rubbery texture and it's pretty grippy.
Overall i love how the cases manage to give me minimum protection and bulk.
i chose the One S over the X partly due to it's thiness, so i bought these cases to keep it that way.
Cheers!
nice

only found them on amazon and they will not ship to Canada; any other source?
I've used one of the inexpensive (sub $5) mesh cases off eBay. Extremely thin, feels great in the hand, but quality could be better. Then again I paid three bucks for it.
Dust definitely gets behind the case through all the holes, but I'm willing to deal with that to get the additional heat dissipation for those times when it gets toasty. I just wish I could find a vented TPU case instead of this hard rubberized plastic.
