Hello to all,
pressing once the volume button causes 3 steps of increaing the sound, that sucks!
how is it possible to increase the sound step by step as like doin' it with the fingers? I tried a lot of volume controlling softwares but all the same ****.
Anyone who can help me?

Had the same issue
I solved it finally by the use of Volumex (which costs a few bucks). It was somehow buggy at the beginning. But in the meantime (with 3.14 ROM) it works properly now.

I've just installed aoe gold edition on my polaris. It works fine except there is no sound and music. Have you experienced this issue ? Is there a solution to get the sound ?

Yes, I noticed that bug (?). After some starts, the sound is working, and sometimes not. (It was not because of switching the phone to "mute".) Has anyone got a fix for this problem?

about sound, i wouln't know. i disable all sounds since i usually game in the train or other public place
btw. anyone notive bug in skirmish mode that u cant defeat ur enemy?
i know what the solution is but i do not know what is causing this problem.
go into sound and notifications. turn on both tap and hard key to soft (or loud, up to you).
now try AOE. don't know what it is but somwhere along the lines of the audio command line, it's looking toward those values to make any sound (vs. some other command on wm2003 or something).

I've been testing out MG on my HT TP and it seems to be doing quite okay.
I've used K for raphael to assign keys, but now I have a problem with sound:
If I activate sound it sounds laggy and the games go laggy aswell..
TF3D is disabled and NO progs running on the bg so im not sure what else could be the problem.. When I disable sound everything runs smooth!
I tried changing all the sound options but no luck yet.. did anyone have these problems aswell, and if so, how did you fix it?

I've had those problems with other emulators. It's not something easily fixed, I fear. Emulators always play slower with sound because of the processing power. This phone is not going to be good for emulators because of the VGA screen. Driving 4x more pixels than a QVGA device requires a lot more power from the processor. I don't know if the video hardware is being used in emulators - but if it's not, the program would need to be rewritten to access the gpu.
It's exactly the same issue with coreplayer and movies.
You'd think it should manage easily because it has its own video card built-in.. probably not using it with MG then? Argh i'll mail them and let you guys know!
Okay So I followed a video tutorial that said right now the Ruu_Signed_Duttys_WM6.1_5.2.19700_Hybrid V2_1_65.14.06[CubeV2]
was the best rom out there. So i installed it. I like the rom alot except it has some bugs that I cannot overlook, was wondering if there was a fix or a recommended upgrade from this Rom.
The bug I hate the most is the keyboard. First it was mapped wrong, but I installed the Tilt fix cab, which fixed that. But now the keyboard spacebar lags. So if i type at a decent speed the spacebar doesnt register being pressed at the right time. For example if i typed : "Hello, how are you doing today? " it would come out as " Hello,h owa rey oud oingt oday"
At first i thought it was maybe my error, that I developed some sort of bad habit of pressing the spacebar at the wrong time. But i sat there and was careful and indeed its the phones fault.
The next bug which I just noticed recently since I havnt had a reason to use it since now, is the video on the camera. When I press record it only records for 9 seconds even though I have it set to no limit. If i keep trying some times it goes past 9 seconds but the video freezes at that point, the counter still goes up and I'm forced to soft reset the phone to get out of it. I tried installing the HTC camera cab , with no effect.
Should i change roms or Is there a fix for this?

I don't believe dutty has touched these ROMs in almost a year now, and he has moved onto the HD, I believe.
Better to look at some of the more recent ROMS, like Garmin, PDA Corner, etc. and forget working with the Dutty ones.

Welcome to 2009 from 2008 , Dutty did so great work in this forum last year, but you need an updated YouTube video. Where did you get a video saying that was the best ?
As stated above, start exploring 2009 , you will love it here
I doubt you will find anyone with new information. Have a search/read through the Threads from dutty or try flashing one of the newer ROMs, a few have been suggested above.

Basically I got 4 HD2's last week for my company and went to town chucking apps etc and registry tweaks from showthread.php?t=603880 (Leos Cab Repository)
Everything is fine except on my handset the volume up button doesnt seem to work?
It works fine on the other phones and mine (maybe I'm being paranoid!) seems to feel slightly different to the other handsets so is there a little app I can use to either map the buttons or test the input is working?

I guess this isnt a problem for anyone else so it almost certainly is a hardware issue, anyone know a button test prog, maybe I'll try an games emulator often they have the function?

Does anyone have an idea to what the problem can be.
I'm missing all my calls and it's really killing me.
Did you select all wipe options?
If you did but problem still exist, your hardware may broken.

My Z5 has this problem:after every firmware flash speaker is too quiet,but you can try this,for me its help: put your phone for few hours and dont use it,the speaker will recover and had normal loudness.Its strange,but it help for me.
