There's a lot. This link should help to point you in the right direction.
I'd recommended upgrading to the latest 2.1 first, root it with the software in the X10 forum, and then you can install xrecovery and have your pick of rom you would like to run. most of them still have issues with camera but there are a couple that are based on 2.1 that have everything working well. I think dualtouch (came out yesterday) has been incorporated, if not, there are a couple tutotorials to get dualtouch on your os.

I am in DESPERATE need to run psfreedom from my x10mini as no psp ports exist and i can only find full-blown programmer boards in greece(cost E100+). Anyway to flash a custom kernel?
Would be NICE to run cyanogenmod on x10mini as SE has left us with Android 1.6.

I am also looking for one but for the x10 not the mini but for all the same reasons
The guys are hard at work cracking the bootloder, but it takes time. Root for the x10 took ages.
We are all In the same boat I want to flash cm6 too. But until its cracked we can't.
You are aware of the 2.1 update before the end of september? Won't be stuck on 1.6 anymore

Dear All,
i am new to android and even on XDA threads, may be i am posting this thread on a wrong place, so m sorry for that..anyways i have got xperia x8 black running v2.1, last night i rooted and installed xrecovery on my phone, and after that i installed another custom ROM on my device, which were not fully functional at all...i googled and searched over these forums but couldn't find any proper ROM (or i am unable to look for a proper one). Please provide a link for direct download of any custom ROM (perfect & stable) version greater than 2.1 (preferably 2.2 froyo).
Thanx in advance.

At the moment I'm running GingerDX on my X8 and I love it. I've been following X8 development for quite a while now and must say I'm very happy with doixanh's work so far.

Hello everybody;
I bought a SonyEricsson XPERIA X10 a few days a go;
At first its theme was really good and I liked it (some thing like this: c2499022.cdn.cloudfiles.rackspacecloud.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/Sony-Ericsson-Xperia-X10-Android-docomo-Japan-1.jpg) ,
but unfortunately when I updated its theme changed ( french.gadgetmeet.com/uploadfiles/frenchsemagancom-1313026756/sony-ericsson-xperia-x10-to-get-android-2-3-in-late-spring_1.jpg )
and now I am looking for last theme
Who can help me to find and replace the last theme with new one?
You updated your X10 from android 1.6 to 2.3.3. You can downgrade, if you learn how to use flash tool. Belive me, at first I hate Gingerbread look too, but 2.3.3 is really good at performance. Better enjoy, because I've downgraded for 20-times and now I'm finally using Gingerbread. It's the best.

He's right. I loved the UI on 1.6, (my first android) and i still remember how happy i was with it... memories buddy.
It took me about 4 months to figure out how to root my phone and etc... now im flashing crap every now and then- its an addiction.
Hi, hope someone can help me, please.
I have a Galaxy Tab P1000. It was with Froyo 2.2 and had MIUI Rom installed. It was also rooted with SuperUser.
I have now upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.
Questions:
1. Is it still using MIUI Rom, or the default Rom? If not, HOW and where can I see this to delete it? If it is using it, how do I know? Sorry, not "up" on these things.
2. Is the GT still rooted? There's the SuperUser app still but if it's not rooted now, I can delete that app, right? Do I need to root it again for Gingerbread?
I would like to install one of the GO Launcher themes but first, it's best I get the above questions answered.
I don't even know if I'm seeing the "best" of what Gingerbread has to offer. Maybe it is still using MIUI and that's why it looks the same as before...?
Hope you can help. Many thanks for any advice and help!! :S
i just got a Virgin mobile LG Optimus V from a friend and i don't really want it as a phone, i would really like it as a iPod sort of thing and i'm new to rooting and flashing roms so i need help with it. i have already rooted it using gingerbreak and i would like either a 2.3 or 4.0 rom . (not really digging android 2.2) whenever i look at the forum for a rom on here the links are always broken so can someone help me maby walk me through flashing a rom and which is the best? another question. if i install a rom with either 2.3 or 4.0, will i be able to use apps that require 2.3 or 4.0?
the play market docent have alot of selection for froyo 2.2.
For flashing rom just google it
for a good rom try gingersnap by neko95
apps frm 2.3 will work as o1 is upgradable to 2.3.1 but apps for 4.0 will not work
Press THANKS IF I HELPED
You can try LeWaOS by me.. link is in the description
Ics roms have some bug's so let's try gingerbread based roms they are good.
