MetaMorph for black Rosie navbar.
MetaMorph LINK
use metamorph free from the market.
also here is a V2, I am leaving the first version up though incase you change you mind and like it better. This has more Gingerbread themeing to it, orange push buttons, square buttons, put the black Rosie navbar in there, and just as much as I could. Also of anyone wants to help out themeing this that would be great just let me know. Credit to Bezerker for his apps to middle stock Rosie mod. I can add MYNs RosieSetting.apk to instantly change the right, and left button of the rosie instantly, doesn't change image but it's a great MOD.
anyway here is it.
V2 DOWNLOAD LINK
Also by request.. the 4 app transparent apps drawer.
I have two Meta Morph files you can use one from ihftph69 himself and another I made a little bit more transparent.
Semi-Transparent
Transparent(like above)

1/19/2011 -
V3 - fully optimized for better performance.
Rosie is clear, which fits in much better especially with a black background. Credit for the idea for the push buttons goes to lllboredlll
credit goes to distINCtINC as I used and edited a couple images for my apps loading picture.
System Apps Edited:
Browser.apk
Calendar.apk
HTCAlbum.apk
HtcContacts.apk
HtcDialer.apk
Mms.apk
PSCII.apk
Rosie.apk
Weather.apk
WorldClock.apk
System Framework-res.apk and com.htc.resources edited and optimized as well.
This version has Version V2 + clear rosie, system apps edited, and fully optimized.

CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO SHOW ME WERE TO EDIT THIS, SO THE BUTTONS ARE SQUARE AND MATCH THE REST OF THE THEME???
DOWNLOAD LINK - V3
I seem to have gotten as many buttons square as I could. Fixed the button in the image above. This will most likely be the last release, unless someone finds more to fix.
v4

By Popular request, I have added the GingerBread dockbar into both V3(my personal use) and V4.
TO USE
download the file, Flash from recovery. and set to go. Comes with Myns Rosie Settings.apk so credit to him for that, if you push on the phone or browser button and nothing opens use the rosiesettings.apk to pick your apps. (note the picture doesn't change, so I'd suggest using phone and browser.

I appreciate the feedback on the sync arrows, the stock GB just has it sitting there no animation, so I did my best to make it animate. I can always change it back to the standard just sitting there, if people don't like it. I love the loading circle too from GB, so smooth!

The headphone icon and play icon in bar look big cuz they have a grey border. Maybe make them look like the silent/vibrant icons. Otherwise this theme is great. I keep finding new things I like.
U rule acd. Thanks for all this.
I dont have metamorph
Would love the + button on rosie to be the camera
the new download animations are cool, maybe make the check in the install icon green too. Is there any way to add the transparent drawer without mm?

Just plugged in headphones, and see the icon is the old status bar, I will try and find that .png and fix it. im not sure what you mean by the play icon cos I don't have any music on my phone, sorry
but I uploaded a file just for you. re-flash this in recovery, this should be V2, with RosieSettings.apk fully functional, after flashing this file, you should have an app in your app drawer named "RosieSettings" use this app to remap the right button to the camera. Just keep in mind that once you change it, you cant get the add to home screen back, but can put any app you have installed, so it'd a fair trade off. Also, it doesn't change the button, so you can change the left phone button, but the button will still be phone.. anyway here ya go, and let me know how it works!
LINK
P.S. MetaMorph is free and very easy to use. Why not use it for the transparent app drawer, it's the only way to get it without messing up your theme.

Also is there anyway you could get a screen shot of the things you found that you'd like me to fix, I see the headphone, just gotta find how to fix it, just need to know what the play button looks like, and what you mean by "maybe make the check in the install icon green too." so I can fix that, I also found the SMS icon isn't correct, I have that fixed, that will be in the next release, after i get everything else fixed. Lemme know how the file before this works for the rosiesettings to get the camera

By play icon i mean having music playing in background and the play icon shows up in the bar. Its really nothing. I have over 2500 mp3's so music stuff is important to me. Dying for a new player, heard the z one is sick, can't wait for SR4. Also I think the 3G icon in the bar is a lil small. When I mentioned the green check in the installed icon I meant after u downloaded an app from market it shows the downloading arrow then once it installs the icon changes to a box thingy with a check mark in it.

umm are you using SR3.5? do you have CWM to get to recovery? Download the file, and just flash the file you want from your SD card thru recovery. do a nand before just in case you dont like it. V4 is sick if you like clear features like app drawer and rosie

Yea , I have sky raider 3.5....does S have to be off to do it?

by the way...this guy has a gingerbread rosie bar http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=858343

does it look like the overlay is a bit messed up as the date in the top left is on top of the icons? Maybe separate them so they are next to each other or, something, looks odd, but otherwise I'm considering coming back to froyo for this .
Nice work.
I'll add a link in my main post...
Edit: Special treatment for being first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6781913&postcount=954
Is the pixelation I see just because of the saving of the image? Because to me it looks a little cheaply done, like the blue of the battery was painted in poorly, and there's no gradient like the stock green. Or does it look better on the phone? (sorry I'm just to picky)....
i played around with the stock battery icon, changed it to cyan. this is what I mean, and I think it looks better. if you like these better let me know and I'll upload a zip file with all of them adjusted. Compiling and signing apk's and such is way above my head, but I'm good with graphics.
Edited to add a wifi and signal icon as well.

Man, those look really good! Can you test this zip and see how it goes! I'm doing some testing on CM8.
Thanks.

Tested on CM8 and is alot darker. I personally like the cyan nice and super bright!
I'll keep it here for those who want to use your style!
Also have LeoFroyo and looks great...
One thing... when texting the send line is blue and ugly. How can I remove the blue?
A new text notification icon would be awesome.... if using a dark wallpaper you can't really see the icon that well.
Its a keeper on my phone. Good work!

I think I might start a metamorph theme myself too, i've made more adjustments... like the lock icon, and I'm trying to get a transparent notification shelf.
I'm using Froyo, so I'm just using metamorph to apply these new icons.
I guess they could be a smidge brighter...sigh, that's a lot of work... I'll try creating a batch job another day.

When compared to the brightness of the cyan time, it looks off, but the way you have them with a black clock it looks good too.
would be nice with cyan color on the "lock"

[THEME] 10.20.10 signals23 Neue Theme

signals23 Neue Theme
10.20.10 UPDATE: Updated per LP0.8.1.1.
This theme was heavily inspired by ElCondor's awesome "Equilibrio Sense" theme found here. The visual credits definitely belong to him. After the initial creation of the theme on Android, I created another variant that, I feel, works better for our smaller screens. Unfortunately, this will be my last theme for the HeroC. My contract is up at the end of the month and I'm heading back to Verizon to get either the DroidX or HTC Merge, depending on when it comes out. I will still be modding LP as I'll still be using it and will try to maintain all of my HeroC themes.
Requirements:
LauncherPro Plus version
MDPI device
This theme isn't really ROM specific, but if you want the statusbar background to disappear (as shown in the screenshots), then you'll have to Metamorph the statusbar png below
The font is not included because it isn't free. It is HelveticaNeue Light and I would highly suggest getting it, because it makes the theme.

Are you going to make a mod to the newest LPP, because it has new swipe action feature that I would love to incorporate.
Thanks a ton,

Awesome write-up,thanks alot, will be doing this asap.
You know I am a fan . Works great on nfinitefx45's latest stock. Thanks, and I'll probably see you at big red come December 1,
Any idea why my MM won't work. It goes thru the process and prompts for a reboot, but it fails to morph anything? I also tried using some of the GTX MM's, same result.
Thanks,
Tee Jay
EDIT: Also, I cannot get LPP to open the regular widgets. The LPP calendar works find, but when i long press and click "Widget" it never opens, and shortcuts and folders cause LPP to FC... Any clue?
EDIT2: I also cannot change the icons or actions on the dock, when I try...FCs...lol ugh, anyone else? or should I wipe and give it hell again?

Once again nice work! We are disappointed you won't be making themes for all of us about to upgrade to the EVO. Perhaps we can get you to reconsider your switch to Verizon.

Wipe and try again. I am still deciding how I want the full setup to look.
Edit: You may have to insert the MM taskbar background to framework-res.apk. Did not work for me either using MM. Since I am not using CM6 I did not want to replace the background anyway. Not sure how it would look with white text and I can't change the text color.
why does my geniewidget show an background, and the one in youre example doesn't
Hey, i just love how this came together.
However my device is a HPDI (HTC Desire) ...
so could you make the wallpaper the right size for a HPDI device? And if possible scrollable
I would asume that the widgets wont cause any problem running on a HPDI device

Well, I'm definately going HDPI and try to make themes that are non-ROM specific. So, chances are you'll be able to use them on the EVO too.

You need to remove geniewidget.apk from system/app or uninstall previous versions if installed normally.

Fancy Widget won't work unless someone ports it to HDPI. I only modded the images in the MDPI folder.
V3 has a scrolling wallpaper. I will look into it.
If you wait a month or so, I'll be on HDPI.

I came across [Rom] Redemptive rEVOlution a while ago and can't stop using it! I've gone and tried others ROMs to see what is out there and this is by far my favorite. So, I decided to start putting together a RED theme for it. This is more of a community theme than my own personal. I'm taking everyone's thoughts and putting together a theme that we will all enjoy.
Feel free to send me a PM with any thoughts or ideas. You can also contact me via my website where I have all my messengers listed.
This theme is designed for version 2.0 on up. It may work on previous versions but I highly recommend not to install it.
Finally, I included an uninstall file in case you don't like the theme. This way, you don't have to restore your entire phone to get back to original.
Thanks

How to install my theme and extras
There are two ways of installing the theme and it's extras. The first is through recovery, and the second is with metamorph. I will list next to the file, which way you need to install it.
The reason for this is to allow me to cater to more people's recommendations for icons etc... and not have to maintain 50+ different versions of the same theme. It lets me replace certain files, instead of entire frameworks.
This also allows you to install, for example, my red circle battery on top of Fernando's blue theme. In the past it would wipe out his entire framework and change all the framework-res files to red. Now, it'll inject just the 137 battery icons only, and leave the rest of his theme alone.
Recovery Installation Procedure:
1. Download zip file.
2. Boot into recovery
3. Install zip file while in recovery.
4. Reboot phone.
Metamorph Installation Procedure:
1. Download metamorph from the market, it's free!
2. Click on the image or link, of the add-on you'd like.
3. Run metamorph on your phone.
4. Choose "unzip/extract new theme".
5. Find the zip file that you downloaded.
6. Tap the .zip file only. (You may see duplicate files with the same name if you have used it before.) Just pick the .zip file.
5. Click "apply all".
6. Reboot your phone.
Here is a short video on how to use metamorph: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enBQzxnpmMs

Are you doing a blue?
Also, cortland, for the REDemption 1.2, im not sure if it was a mistake or not, but it's just a little odd IMO that the wifi is only red on the dot part of the icon (noti. bar) Also, the boxed around selected text fields are still green, but i love it so far.
And could you upload the png of the original browser icon?
I like the original better than the red one, thanks guys!

NEEDS to be installed AFTER BOOTING BASE ROM ONCE.
Works *BEST* with -
- Redemptive Revolution 2.1.3
- Skyraider Sense 3.X.X (skyraider version below)
- Sensless Revolution 2.1.3 (only for senseless version of theme))Does NOT work with ROMs like -
- Redemption Rom 2.2
- IncRom 0.x
- Virtuous
- i.e. any rom with stock incredible (non-evo) framework.Anything else is uncomfirmed i.e. I don't know whether it will work or not.
Details
As far as I know the first and only INVERTED SENSE APPS.
Inverted semi-transparent notification pulldown
Based on the most recent Incredible com.htc.resources.apk and applications
Framework-res.apk based off of RR 2.1.3
Optimized - optipng'd and zipaligned - basically smaller/faster without quality loss
Daneshm90 - ApkManager
Darkside Market
TP76 and crew
Smooth Sense and Power Controls in Notification Bar based on EVO framework with 6 bar signal meter
HeyitsLou - power control graphics and base framework
JsChiSurf - original notification toggles port from cm6 to sense
Practically all images hand-made (mouse-made?) by me (For example all 137 battery images)
A few images taken and then modified from the Samsung Fascinate
Changed the sense app backgrounds and other images from grey to black.
Removed Sense's rounded edges for a crisp look.
As much color to blue as i could
Blue highlight color for text selection(xml mod)
Blue Volume Bar and Progress Bar (xml mod)
A lot of the stock HTC app / Widget themed / xml modded for blue-ness and to accommodate graphics dimension-wise (dimens.xml, colors.xml, etc)
brut.all - apktool
Themed HTC sense weather/clock widget.
Themed Rosie Mod with 5 app drawer added by me - don't remember got it here though and then themed it
Themed News and Weather Widget
2 Custom Boot Animations
Custom loading screens for sense apps replacing the "fake" blank splash screens. Better IMO.
4in1 Reboot Menu
sqn
HeyitsLou
semi-transparent - pulldown shade, app drawer, add item screen etc etc.
A ton of other stuff you have to find on your own...

(start with sense rom or Lou's senseless , if you start with a sense rom this will **AUTOMATICALLY** remove rosie, aka the sense homescreen and launcher and replace it with LauncherPro)
(If you install LauncherPro over any other ROM or theme with the sense launcher , Rosie will continue to run in the background draining battery and wasting system resources.)
- Paying for LP plus is recommended to take advantage of the awesome widget themes by signals23 included. Check out signals23's thread for more great LP+ themes.
- a clock widget based on Fancy Widget but with all infringing HTC images removed.
- LauncherPro docks can be found in /SDcard/LauncherProDocks/

do you plan on making this compatible with Lou's upcoming senseless rEvolution?
I already have a senseless version posted above. But I will probably also include a version specifically for senseless revolution.
I'm salivating already! Time to make a nandroid, install a 2.1.3 fresh and wait for 1.50 Vanilla
If we're already running 1.15?
1) Do we just install on top of the current (1.15) version or do we have to start all over from scratch? (I vote for the former!)
2) Also, it was interesting reading about how if you have launcher pro and the htc launcher both on the phone how the stock launcher will just take up resources. Is that true the "other way around" too? If we have LP installed but use the HTC as our "normal" launcher is LP taking up resources in the background? This would be good to know! A secondary question is, 'Okay, how do we uninstall the default HTC launcher?'
3) Finally, can we customize the lock screen yet with any products out there without causing a boot loop?
Thanks!
JC
1. I don't know. When I finish it I will test it and find out
2. No. If you don't start LP then it won't run. HTC sense launcher will run no matter what. In response to the last part of your question - Read the first post of the thread under "Senseless".
3. No. The skyraider lockscreen mods you are referring to are based on a different framework.
I haven't checked to see what's in the Skyraider lockscreen pack .zip but if you flash that over this ??? might be worth a try, or a nandroid
I wonder if this theme will work with Senseless rEVOlution 1.0. Technically Senseless 1.0 is the same as 2.1.3 but with some stuff deleted, and Tainted Vanilla deletes sense, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'll nandroid and give it a try
Whether or not it works depends on how clockwork treats a command in the update script to delete something that's not there. Will it stop with error or skip over it? I'm not sure what will happen. If you try please let me know!
Side note: I don't know why Lou bothered to release a whole new Rom for senseless when a script works just as well from what I can tell.
Btw 1.50 would be done if not for school... :'(

Speed, space, bloat.
Also from Lou's OP:
"Why don't I just use Redemptive rEVOlution and install my favorite alternative Launcher?
If you find yourself using an alternative Launcher then you're not using 90% of the Sense apps so why have them installed on your system taking up precious space and and in many cases these apps are "actively syncing" information and using your precious Ram. The benefit of using Senseless rEVOlution is these apps are removed for you thus saving Space and Ram which in turn will increase overall speed and battery life."
A script (like the one included in my theme) that installs a launcher and removes rosie, rosie apps, and rosie widgets is not the same as installing a launcher over sense. No offense intended but what you posted is kind of irrelevant to what I asked.
The end products are the same are they not?

I'm running lou's senseless and have already deleted adw and installed lp+.
If I flash your vanilla over it, will I get the themed lp that you describe in the op?
Also, would I be better off waiting for 1.5 that I believe you promised for today?
thanks in advance.

Oh so that's why when I install your 1.1.1 theme I see a bunch of messages about files being deleted, it's removing Rosie and it's proprietary apps. Pretty good!
I haven't run into any issues installing 1.1.1 over Senseless rEVO 1.0 so the framework is probably the same. Everything themed properly, no force closes or glitches. I did do a nandroid of the ROM right after booting the first time so when you release 1.5, i'll restore that and then install 1.5. Can't wait to see it!

A script (like the one included in my theme) that installs a launcher and removes rosie, rosie apps, and rosie widgets is not the same as installing a launcher over sense. No offense intended but what you posted is kind of irrelevant to what I asked.
The end products are the same are they not?

what he posted is not irrelevant....youre both exactly right. lou made the rom specifically for lp users so there's no bloat/rosie cuz most ppl don't delete their own just install lp instead of physical rosie WITHOUT a theme....where yours is a theme that does it. I think a lot of ppl dont want a theme sometimes....no offense to anyone either just what I think

I think USAsokr's point was simply that it would be easier for Lou to maintain a single version of that ROM and provide a script to remove sense from it, rather than a whole new ROM.

Understandable. We just appreciate your work. Do you perchance have a general ETA though? I think I'm going to wait until 1.50 to theme my Senseless rEVOlution.

[Theme] Update:02/07/11 Dot-Matrix v2.0 Go-Launcher EX Theme

So this is my first theme Ive ever done. It took the better part of today and wasnt too difficult. I used the Go Launcher Theme Factory to build it. The home screen icons are custom made in either Illustrator or Photoshop. As Im not yet experienced with button layouts and styles, I would really love some feedback on what you think works and what doesnt.
I was really inspired by the Miui widget styles with the dot-matrix look. I havent paid for my dev account with Google Market yet, so please download this theme here. And thanks for all the critiques and what-not!
Update: 2/7/11 Ok so another update here. I added a few more icons for some commonly used apps. Only 7 of them. They are all 72x72 so they should match up with the background ok. Probably not exact but they should work.
Also the dock apps actually have 'twin' app icons in the app drawer that use the stock image. So these icons in the app drawer have the 'common' background image applied to them (blue square). you can replace the dock version icons for these default ones if you like them better. I placed them above the counterparts in the pics below. Other than this I also changed the app drawer tab look to the dot matrix style. makes things a little more cohesive.
I have also included a .zip file with all the dock icons in 60x60 format for you to put on your device and change manually. Just in case the apk leaves them out for some reason. When you change them manually they also tend to be just a little more crisp.
Hope you guys enjoy.
EDIT: I just noticed the app drawer tab icons are getting shrunk by go launcher so they dont match the background. Too tired to change them now. Maybe tomorrow, so.....late......zzzzzz

I was really inspired by the Miui widget styles with the dot-matrix look. However Im having the hardest time to get them to look uniform and not do that weird jumping around thing that small dots tend to do with aliasing and such. Do you think it may have something to do with me designing the icons small rather than starting big and shrinking them?

Looks pretty sweet Taz. Keep up the good work man.
So.. are you planning on selling your theme? As a Go Launcher theme..? Just wondering

If you're using photoshop just set the DPI so that 1px = 1 dot. Then just set the canvas size to whatever the icon size is and you can "paint" in each pixel.
Just a thought..

Actually I was planning on giving this one away on the market for free since it is my first attempt. Im gettin the hang of the theme factory a bit now. It can be really confusing to replace some of the images properly. And with no Manual on how to use the dang thing, its all guess work.

Thanks, I was trying to use Illustrator with artboards that were the exacct size of the icons, but i think i was setting the dpi wrong because they would come out bigger. I guess ill stick to photoshop for my next ones. Wondering if icons are usually painted large then shrunk down?

I'm digging this theme. The ICS blue layout, the simple minimalist look is how I like my themes. Unfortunately, the dock icons look a little odd to me. Though I'd gladly use this if you kept improving on this theme.

That is exactly what i plan to do. I figured out my problem with the dock icon resolution problem too. Go Launcher shrinks the normal icon image from 72x72 down to 60x60 when you place the icon on the dock. I was making the dock icons at a resolution of 72x72. This is why the dots would look weird when they were put there. So im going to try and fix that by creating a template for myself. I will upload it onto a new thread with pixel guides for the various icon sizes and a psd file for people to create their own icons with. After doing all the pixel math I was able to layout all the guides for the home screen grid according to a 5x6 pattern.

Thanks for the explanations. I ended up trying this out on my mom's Fire last night and it looked awesome.
I then went ahead and loaded it up onto my Infuse and I'm definitely liking this theme more. I love the folder icons on this theme especially.
One of the things I noticed is that there was an icon pack when I installed it on the fire (one of them was the facebook icon which had some subtle snowflakes on them) and it doesn't show up on my Infuse (just the standard blue border) and when trying to pick icons from the themes it says there are no images. I was hoping there would be a different icon for music and the browser so that my dock would match more.
I'm attaching some of the images of my phone right now for others to get a good look.
And one more thing, where did you get that lockscreen and clock widget?

Thanks so much for the comments! Im glad you like it. The clock widget is called "Digital Clock Widget" in the market. Its usually the first one to pop up when you search it. I dont think I posted a lock screen. But I cant remember since i removed the pics. I actually usually just change the swipe actions in Go Launcher to hide the dock and status bar. But I now have discovered Statusbar+ and its really awesome! Looks like the windows phone status bar. all the icons will hide after a specified amount of seconds, except for the Clock in the upper right. really love it since its really minimalistic. when you tap the status bar the icons all drop in. Loving it.
I now just use the stock lockscreen. Im not sure why your internet icon didnt show up? I actually removed some of the custom icons that were in the last version. That means the facebook icon along with a few others will now use the original icon with the blue square around them. If you like Ill just upload the dock icons so you can change them manually. and maybe ill make a music icon for ya too!
Excellent. Better than some of the $2 themes I've purchased for Go Launcher. It's tough to find good minimalist themes!
Oh in the OP screens, what is the second icon from the left? Phone ? Apps SMS WWW
I thought it was contacts, but I can't get the icon to work for it.

Hm, thanks for the new clock widget, it looks awesome. Though it's kind of lame that we can't use hex color codes or set the date and time to have the same color. Unfortunately something went very wrong with my phone after I installed and messed with this app. Random reboots, apps wouldn't load, extreme amounts of lag, home button stopped working, my extended power menu disappeared, you name it and I had it. Due to this, I was forced to send my phone back to stock. Oh well, I'll just stick with official TW now that we've got GB. Plus, TW is sort of nice now that I haven't used it in 6 months haha. I'll jump back to Go Launcher in a week since the TW icons are HUGE.
ANYWAYS, I am going to rock this theme once I can get my phone settled down and Go Launcher on this. A music icon would be awesome since I like having my music in my dock. And uploading all of the icons into the theme would be nice too since it'd give us options on which icons we'd like to use. And if you don't mind me being nitpicky, would you mind making an icon set of the stock icons but with the blue border? That would just be icing on the cake.

Yup, that's for contacts, I was wondering about this the first time I saw this also.
Yes that was for the contacts. Im really not sure why Go theme factory may be screwing up the apk. Im going to repackage a new one with the icons and without. Ill add the blue square to dock icons too as extras. Ill try to upload a zip with all the icons I make so you could just replace the dock ones with pngs if you want. Maybe thats how ill do the music one too is GTF doesnt package it right. Ill be sure to test it out first.
Also im relaly sorry to hear about the widget probs. Ive always had that widget and it never really gave me any problems. Maybe it was a malware app or something. Not sure about it. But Ill definitely add some more cool stuff to this theme since you guys seem to like it so much.
and heres some examples of another direction i want to go in for a theme...
Both were made in photoshop using mainly layer effects. Im leaning more towards the gray one. But the black one is inspired by my new Logitech k750 keyboard. I love the buttons and want something to come out looking like the theme is made of keys from this keyboard. enjoy.
Updated the apk. enjoy.

You have great taste and should consider monetizing your work IMO.

Hi, id just like to update you on this theme. Im still loving it but i like a consistent look and feel to my phone so I've decided to use parts of this theme and and the ics theme. I love the way you've made the folders, background, and the app drawer look so I've kept those there. Here's some ss of my phone now. Thanks for making my phone look sick!
