I think this thread is COMPLETELY off-topic for this forum.
It reeks of advertising your blog, and nothing else.

I'm sorry if that's how you feel, I thought I was helping out the community by providing legit access to paid apps and games, which might other wise be stolen. From there people who like the apps will spread word to their friends, generating much more income in theory.
Why don't hold the giveaway here on xda? Seems like you want to generate traffic to your blog and harvest email addresses. You didn't even describe how winners are selected.
I only require emails to contact them if they've won. I don't use the emails for anything else.
Winners are selected at random, I posted that in the initial giveaway and forgot to put it in the second. I use random.org to generate a winner.
As for posting this on XDA, I use the blog because I don't always have apps to giveaway, so in the meantime I update it with other articles. This takes some time and energy on my part as well, corresponding with dozens of developers trying to work out some deal, so yes I do hope it generates traffic.
Your not actually giving them away, people need to win them..the title is misleading.
No, the apps are being given away, there are just limited copies available so it's only fair that the winner is choosen randomly.
I hope this falls inside the rules for this section.
I now have yet another reason to be jealous of iPhone users. This does not often happen, but at times it still does. Cinemagram, is an app for building cinemagraphs right on your phone. Here is a tumbler feed with supposed examples of what the app can create. http://cinemagram.tumblr.com/
I contacted the developers of this app, Factyle Inc, and did my best bit of groveling for an Android version. It seems I wont need to be jealous for too long. Here is the reply I received back in a matter of minutes.
"LOL!!!
We'll get there soon "
If you want this on Android as much as I do, please email the devs and let them know there is an audience for this app on Android.
I dont want to post up their email, so take a look at the bottom of their site for their email link. http://cinemagr.am/
Great idea ...
171 views, but has anyone actually sent them an email?
we have many developers on here and cinemagram has a posting on there site looking for android developers. http://cinemagr.am/home/jobs
Right now I'm trying to create an application that allows Teens or Young Adults to use their Android phone to figure out if the relationship they are in is abusive, and if so, to give them numbers, websites, and sources of information to help them get help. It's a noble cause, I'm not doing it for money in any way, it's just a cause that's near and dear to my heart.
But I'm running into all kinds of problems and frankly it's very frustrating.
I'm working on MIT's APP Inventor right now, I've watched dozens of tutorials, read countless articles. So I'm not completely clueless.
What I need is for someone who is knowledgeable with this process to lend me a hand, answer questions, etc if and when I do have them. I promise not to bother you constantly I'll generally always try and figure things out myself first, but a helping hand for a noble cause would always be greatly appreciated.
You can always PM me if you're willing to lend a hand, I'll give you my GV number or email or whatever.
I appreciate your time.
I consider myself a rational intelligent man but I find this site insanely complex, non-intuitive,an extremely frustrating! After sleepless hours and hours and hours and hours of trying to familiarise myself with this place, this 64 year old man is sitting here in tears trying to find his last post among other simple tasks attempted. Does there not exist here, a simple starting tutorial to introduce one to the basic workings of this place? Please help.
My problems partially solved.
My problems partially solved ...
I FINALLY found a downloadable and functional apk for this forum's app (Google Play store will not play with my device at present ... That is one of the reasons that I am here) ... and that is helping me a LOT!
Perhaps it would be a good idea for you to make it a point to strongly recommend the XDA forums app to newly arriving members here.
I TRULY think that the website UI here could use some development to make it much more new-user-friendly, however.
... Another point ...
Maybe I am missing some kind of search filtering option, but, I do not see any value in hundreds of thousands of non-applicable and irrelevant search results when trying to find something here. Perhaps someone could direct me to such filtering options if they do, indeed, exist.
In closing, I must say that the reception I received when joining here was very pleasant and I am already on my way via some help
and advice from a couple of members here to solve my crashed Play Store problem.

I personally find hundreds of thousands of non applicable and irrelevant search results on very specifically searched items very very very unhelpful...

You should be able to see all your previous posts in your profile and link to the thread there. Xda is confusing unless you know what u want from it. For me if i have a question i just pop it in xda search bar and relevant threads pop up. But if u want to learn everything then u have to come up with a specific thing first theres not really a guide to it all. But u should be able to find almost anything with the right search. If not post question in a help or q&a thread. I will help just let me know what u r looking for

I simply HAD to tether to my PC as I simply CANNOT function on this site via my smartphone ... it is HORRENDOUS. I can't even figure out how to THANK people hardly or reply to their help ...
DAYAM ... what takes seconds here takes HOURS there ... SO MANY BUGS ... photo verification of reply to prove I am not a robot half way off the farking page ... and MANY MANY other concerns.
The help is great but the UI is SO unfriendly !
Anyways ... thank you for your responses and I will be much less tense now that I am on my PC
No I know how to tether ... but I have not been bothering even when at home. I have been so stupid til now. I was just emphasizing how much easier it is to communicate with this site from a large computer, monitor and keyboard is all.
Thanks tho
Hi there,
You will receive more help if you ask in this thread:

Good luck
Hi..
My brother and me created this app with love
Sometimes we cannot focus on simple things and are blocked the entire day or maybe even weeks, because we have something in our mind which is bothering us and we don't have the correct person to talk to, without the fear of being judged.
The purpose of this app is you can talk to someone and share out your frustrations, sorrows or just speak your mind.
You can also listen to someone who wants to be heard and feel glad that you just gave some time and attention to someone and made them feel better.
Despite having so much social media around do you feel you can truly express yourself or connect with someone?
All this happens while you remain anonymous. The app is purely text chat based no audio, no image sharing, no memes, nothing. Just straight text to help conceal your identity.
