1. Open NinjaMorph
2. (Start Checks) Click on New Project
3. Scroll down to system (Tap to open)
4. Open framework (Tap to open)
5. Scroll down to (com.htc.resources.apk) it will then extract all files located inside the apk
This will create a folder on your SD Card by the name of AndroidThemes. Now you could go ahead and start replacing files with the same name and size.
Now you should connect your phone to your computer to get access to your SD Card.
SD Card>AndroidThemes>Workspace>comhtcresourceapk>res >drawable-hdpi
Now you will replace the the png's in the drawable hdpi folder with the ones that were provided in the zip file.
once you have replaced the necessary files go ahead and disconnect phone from computer as ninjamorph will need access to your sd card
1. Open NinjaMorph (Tap on Start Checks)
2. Tap on finish project
3. Find folder named comthcresourceapk and tap on it
4. It will start creating package
5. Click Yes to confirm
6. Click No on the next confirm action
8. You may get some force close windows (go ahead and force close them
9. Last confirm says (would you like to delete/cleanup the project? [click NO]
10. Reboot for changes to be applied (I usually do it with the Hot Restart)
Thanks! These look great!

I first post all the icons in a folder on my SD card.. then change then using JWMD. then using JWMD again, I clear the cache file, and soft reset.
Then I go back to the file folder on the SD card and remove all the icon PNG files I did not use, and save the ones I did use in the file on the SD card.
that way if for some reason I have to do a hard reset, I have the icons already to go, and dont have to dig, or wait 5 minutes for JWMD to load all the images.
I *think* the OP is asking about the one or 2 icons that dont change in the quick link page.. Like the vid recorder, even after clearing the cache file.
I'm sure there is a way to fix it, but I dont know how (sorry). Up to this point I have no need to place those icons in my quick links, so I just kinda avoid it, and havent looked for the solution.
Hey everyone, I just finished my first releasable boot animation. As the title suggests, it is an animation of the American flag being raised over mt suribachi on the Japanese island of Iwo Jima during WWII. Not only is this a full animation of it being raised, but you also have the option to have a sound in the background. I will be including my sound version with a clip from the song "Killing in the Name Of" by RATM. There is also a non sound version for those of you that want a stealthy boot up, say if you were in school.
both zips are flashable through cwm recovery
How To install them :
1. copy/move the bootanimtionwithsound.zip/bootanimationnosound.zip file to your SDcard
2. Reboot into CLOCKWORKMod Recovery
3. goto " Install Zip from SDCard "
4. goto " Choose Zip from SDcard "
5. goto where you have the animation zip file
6. highlight the animation you want and press the camera key
7. Install the Animation.
8. Press Back key.
9. then " Reboot system now "
If you want sound, but dont want the RATM sound, find a .mp3 file, edit it down to about 10 seconds of your favorite part, save it as Android_Audio.mp3; then extract the contents of the bootanimationwithsound.zip to your desktop and navigate through the folders data and local and replace the mp3 with yours, and then do the same for the system then media folder. Then highlight the things you extracted and right click add to archive. rename to what you want and then select .zip, then change the compression method to STORE and click ok/done/ what ever it is. then you can move it to you sdcard and use the above steps to install it. Have Fun!

Finally! The long wait has come to an end! Here is the RainbowMods theme tutorial!
Now this Tutorial is for a very basic type of theme. By basic I mean that what you can theme are the back button, home, recentapps, menu, search, and battery, and wifi icons, and also the button press color.
In the following days i will be making a tutorial on advanced themes. Where you will be able to change clock color, expanded settings bar items, such as: sound and brightness icons and bar color and as well and settings icon, and everything else in the notifications bar
REQUIREMENTS:
ZipThemer
ICS or JellyBean Rom .zip
Root Explorer or similar
Icons that you want to use
And a little Patience
INSTRUCTIONS:
YOU CAN DO ALL THIS ON YOUR KINDLE! NO NEED TO USE YOUR COMPUTER.
1.Download my custom_statusbar.zip file and extract it to a spot on your sdcard.
2.Go to the extracted. then CustomStatusBar/systemUI/res.
3.This is where all the drawable (images) are located. The ones we are editing in this tut. are located in drawable-sw600dp-mdpi.
4.Now go to system appsand extract your systemUI apk. go to that extracted. and go to res/drawable-sw600dp-mdpi. This i just so you know what your editing.
5. Download and extract atticus182's softkeys (or you can use any of your own!) and find one you want to use. Rename it and get rid of the (#) after it. and copy and past the image in the customstatusbar's drawable-sw600-mdpi fold. Say if you are using one that says ic_sybar_back (24) you would get rid of (24) and copy the image TWICE! rename one of them to ic_sybar_back_land
the land part is for landscape mode. so do this same thing for any icons you would like to change. just remember to rename them EXACTLY how they are in your original systemUI.apk. This is the same for any battery or wifi mod too.
6. after you are done with the pictures you are swapping out., zip the ENTIRE CustomStatusBar folder.
7. Go to zipthemer. If you have used zipthemer before with your rom then SKIP this Step. GO to zipthemer. Press the menu button and then hit update edify. HIt browse and find the rom that you are currently using. MIne would be jandycane_otter-v1.5.1_0xD34D.zip.and press configure. It will say success.
8. In zip themer press +Theme. Then find the zipped customstatusbar file. and click build it! is will ask you about making a undo file and click always.
When its finished it will show a buildl log.
9. Reboot into recovery. TWRP or CWM. when in recovery hit install. and find the customstatusbar.zip. Flash it. and wipe delvikcache. reboot and tada!!
10. go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1413582 and thank atticus182 for letting me use his sofkey icons!
THANKS:
atticus182 for his icons
stericson for getting me into theming!
and be sure to thank me!

That will be in the advanced tut, but I personally like the stock clock.
First off I will say this is the greatest tool I have ever came across and I am thankful for anyone that ad hand in its production. The tool of course is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=873466 and it has been working great for me. But earlier today I used winrar to open a com apk file and edit a specific txt file however I accidentally didn't un-click the "use as default program" box and now right-clicking and apk file will not display the decompile option or install to phone option any longer. I figured since the default program had been changed it was not being recognized by one click apk any longer so I deleted the default program for the apk file type in the registry and uninstalled then re installed the shellext for APK_OneClick however the right-click apk options still will not show. I can recompile folders to APKs but nothing else. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced it is driving me crazy.
I am assuming my problem is fro the whole winrar accident as the icon provided with OneClick no longer is displayed for apk files either I just can't solve the issue.

Ever wondered how to make your Lock Screen Transparent without installing any 3rd party apps or using Xposed Modules, etc...
Buckle Up guys!! This tutorial will guide you to make your Lock Screen Transparent in 5 easy steps
REQUIREMENTS1. framework-res.apk of your respective device.
2. APK Multi Tool or any other application to decompile/compile apk [for sure shot]
If you don't have APK tool then open the framework-res.apk with winrar [not sure if it will work after this or not]
3. Photoshop
4. Presence of mind not needed at all
Alright Lets play
Step1. Decompile your framework-res.apk (Not going to teach you this part)
If you don't have an APK Tool to do the above work then open the framework-resp.apk with winrar/winzip .
Step2. Go to \res\drawable-hdpi\ and search for your default lock screen wallpaper [In my case I found it with the name of keyguard_default_wallpaper.jpg ]
NOTE:You will find your default Lockscreen image in this folder only. So look sharply for it, name of the image may differ.
Step3. Once you locate your default Lockscreen image,Open it with photoshop. And make it transparent by deleting the image, and save it as .png
For example I found my default lockscreen image by the name keyguard_default_wallpaper.jpg ,but after I edited it with photoshop making it transparent,I have saved the image by the name keyguard_default_wallpaper.png
We save it as .png because only .png supports transparency.
Note: Do not change the size of the image.
Bingo!! You successfully made your LockScreen Transparent.
Step4. Compile your framework-res.apk.
Step5. Replace it with your device's framework-res.apk via any file manager like ESfileexplorer or put it into a flashable zip and flash it.
For creating Flashable zip easily follow this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/and...shable-zip-t3196490/post62724670#post62724670
For your help i have attached a zip having transparent image in it at the end of this tutorial
