so my problem is i would like to enable ptt on an htc tilt that is unlocked and is currently used on the tmobile network.
i know the blackberry that you can edit a file to change the vendor code from 102 to 100 to enable it.
is there a way to do this on the tilt with windows mobile 6.1
or if theres an app plz let me know

looks good but doesnt allow me to ptt him directly without both having the software and an internet connection im trying to set it up as if im going from boost to boost
nvm guess there no way without actually having the service and/or an iden phone

I just activated my old Mogul on Boost Mobile for my girlfriend and now everything is working except the internet, when it tries to dial #777 it gives and error which is understandable being that that number is for Sprint, so with that being said, does anyone know the number for Boost Mobile, or better yet how to setup the mogul to be able to access internet on Boost Mobile. All help is greatly appreciated.

i have a motorola i355 and the code i use is S=2#777 on IDEN at least i do not know about cdma

so i have htc xv6900 from verizon. i have it flashed for cricket and the internet was fine but i love messing with phones lol so i ended up flashing my rom to the wm 6.5(sprint htc touch pro) and had to get a program to get the unlock code to get into my ##778# and the info is right but my data connection is not going through #777 which it was at first so is there a program or app that i can run to connect or sprints code or jus something to get internet back to my phone thank you sorry if i post it in the wrong place
Okay you guys I just bought a Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 a few days ago and I have it active on my boost mobile account.
1st question: should i put my boost SIM card inside the tp2?
Main question: I have been having data (internet, youtube, email) connection. What can i do to fix this problem? It has been saying #777 cant connect dismiss and error.

You guys need to contact your carrier and get the Internet settings from them. Your phone isn't made of magic. lol
I have already ported my boost cdma number to the htc pro touch 2 and internet and youtube work, but my gmail on there receives messages but then asks for id and password when I try to respond to messages.
what OS you running? did you manually insert the msid and mdn?

i had the same problem what i did is a hard reset and the internet should work.
1st question is did you sign up for the boost CDMA plan? That's the main reason for using the Sprint TP2. You need to ask for the CDMA otherwise, they will set you up with the iden plan. Check that first. then post a fallow up question. good luck

i think a hard reset is all thats needed. its all mine has ever needed. i have been through 10 roms at least and once it boots the net just works. as for Gmail make sure your email settings are correct. i cant remember but if there is a "save password" option on there you need to use it.

I have searched online, contacted T-Mobile, HTC and can't find what i need.
Using T-Mobile HD7 on Wind Network (Canada), everything works fine except MMS, i need to add second APN and information for Wind, but seems T-Mobile left that part of the phone locked, there's no way to add second APN or modify it. Since wind uses different settings for Internet-MMS i have no way of getting MMS to work. Searching online i found many asking the same questions, even phones on different networks. Seems T-mobile not alone.
At this point considering all options, including loading Mango from different carrier if necessary, question is-- Do any of you have Mango installed that gives option adding second APN? Any other alternative you may know to get MMS to work?

You could make a provxml that modifies the registry manually if your on mango.. Ot if your on nodo and unlocked you can installer the registry editor and modify them yourself. Its not a tmobile thing its wp7 in general. I'm on simple mobile. They have those settings in HTC connection setup but not for wind I just checked.

That's what i was afraid, by the sounds of it HTC is no hurry to update the App to support Wind or Mobilicity. I guess i have to revert back to 7004 (i'm on 7392) and try the registry hack. Do you know if the registry changes stays after updating the phone back to NoDo-7392? Mango? From what i got from another thread, as long as i don't run HTC connection tool, i should be ok, right? I know many questions, only now starting searching on options to hack the phone, see you did great work on updating to Mango-- Thanks
Try this. Basically this tells the phone to re-get the mms settings from your provider. It worked for me on AT&T.

I found out that once you unlock this verizon version phone, it removes the apn mms settings (Cannot send or receive picture messaging), your reception will on go to E or G and not 3G or $G, and you cannot access the internet share options.
I am looking for a way to access the back end and turn these features back on in this phone????

hello
there is no such thing as a backend on this mobile platform
most of this stuff is controlled by the registry
the only limitations known for this device are related to the evdo services on it, impact directly on internet sharing, sms sending
as far for 3G / H+ it should work but it will never activate LTE on standard UMTS Services
also please check for workaround regarding sms and the other "painpoints"
