I have not see any ROM's that are currently upgrades from the stock 6.1 which is installed on my phone. Has anyone successfully been able to get 6.5 working or any of the ROM's here working with a US Cellular HTC Snap/Ozone?

Isn't any available rom here working with US Cellular?.That's odd.
Well I actually haven't tried it, as the only threads that I could find (including the link I posted below) state that there are big problems when this has been attempted in the past. I don't want to risk it if there is no way to go back to the US Cellular ROM and or backup my flash on this phone so that I can get back to a working state. If there is a way to backup my current flash though (like a nandroid backup on my EVO) then I will try it.

So, if they are already threads pointing this out..why you opened a new one .
On that note, thread closed

I got my phone July of this year (ROGERS 32A) and immediately researched and successfully applied fatality's hero ROM... (rooted phone as well)
Recently my personal phone has turned into my work phone, and I've now added a 3G data plan (was previously only using wifi). Since I've been using 3G data, I've really noticed the short comings of this ROM (SLOW), and am now looking for a ROM that's basically:
A stock version of Donut with perhaps some small tweaks (multi-touch support?)
I've looked around the forum for a bit, both browsing and using search. Apparently I'm not as technologically savvy as I thought I was, as I just ended up getting fairly confused.
One of my problems is not remembering what I exactly did to get the ROM on my phone in the first place.
To put it simply my few questions are as follows:
1. If I don't remember what I did to the phone in the past (I do remember that the radio is still stock), will I be able to do something in the future that will mess up the phone?
2. I currently have sdk 1.5 installed. Do I need to upgrade to 2.0?
3. What's the best way to backup my call logs and sms messages? (hopefully a free version). Will this backup method work when going from a hero ROM to a near stock version of donut? (this is important as I have a lot of sms messages that I need to save)
4. Can someone recommend a near stock version of 1.6 that is de-branded and stable? (with all standard features fully working... maybe with multi-touch as well?)
5. Is there a good newbie guide for accomplishing this task? I seemed to find a few stickies, but I remember when I flashed this phone to begin with, there was one thread that was seemingly written for the mentally challenged (which really helped me accomplish the flashing task and made me comfortable with taking the leap)
Thanks for your help!
I've always used AmonRa's 1.6.2 with no issues.

Second that. That's what I am using now. I was using myhero before that. I am waiting for camera for the 2.0 Releases.

1. Yes. I'm pretty sure you won't have any problems. I didn't (stock 32A from HTC).
2. No. But it won't hurt either. Just do it.
3. Search the market. I use Mybackup Pro ($2, methinks). There are some apps which do backup just the call log and another for SMSes.
4. Cyanogenmod ported for 32A. 2.4.9.1. Find the thread describing how to upgrade. You need another update (the 32A port which grants you working wifi).
5. I would try cyanogenmod.com - look for the wiki. And look through the two threads I mentioned.
Per.

yea.. amon's ion is great. u shud try it.
Amon_ras or the cyanogenmod ported for 32a. I prefer cyanogenmod.
I have never touched my radio but I have an engineering spl. that is not required though. To use the.32a port of cyanogenmod you need to have a recovery that can flash any zip, not just those named update.zip
Thanks for the suggestions... I really appreciate it.
So I want to do the new sw update but can't because I deleted some stock apps so the checksum wouldn't match and a hard reset won't restore them I guess so I would flash a stock rom but am I right thinking there isn't one yet? So how can I get to an original rom and then update or maybe make the new update work?
D2G stock rom
I don't know if the update will be compatible or not but from my understanding this is pretty much the stock rom that Motorola handed Verizon to put all their bloatware on then release the phone. I did load this rom on my d2g and it works flawlessly. Might be worth a try, not a direct link but will get you headed in the right direction. The rom manager gives you the opportunity to load the barebones stock google rom or the Vanilla based version, it just downloads and flashes, works perfect I didn't even have to re-activate. It is already pre-rooted so maybe the update won't work but I just wanted to make you aware of it. I work at verizon and did the update to the floor model and my dad's stock d2g also and didn't notice any difference really. I think vzw is just fixing some of the bugs that they created anyway so having the stock rom may end up with the same result, a rom that functions perfectly, good luck!.......droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-roms/106629-rom-fission-2-4-droidx-vanilla-generic-android-aosp-like-fission-rom-manager.html
@evil yeah im kind of in the same boat, let me know if srensber solution works for you.
I froze a bunch of apps with Titanium Backup and renamed some stuff with Root Explorer. I recently just re-named everything i changed back to the factory stuff (bak -> apk) but it still doesnt seem to do any good.
I did create a number of back ups using Rom manager but i cant seem to find out where they are located and how to restore them. hmm. Not sure what to do.
Ah i realize what ive done wrong ... i didnt know you had to have bootstrap installed along with clockwork recoveryy in order to make a backup hmm. Going to need a rom of stock d2g lol.
clockwork recovery installs a boot hijack, which might be the culpirt

I cant seem to find the download link anywhere... and after you loaded this rom did you try to update to 2.4.3 ?
If anyone else has any input about this please help!
I'm (obviously) a bit of a newb when it comes to android, and I was flashing back from cm7 to see how it was done. When I reinstalled GRJ22, everything was working fine. I then downloaded and flashed the OTA update to GRK39C (or so I thought). It turns out it was the update to GRK39F, which apparently is ATT or GPRS specific. My phone now thinks it's on ATT and is trying to use GPRS.
I'm on Telus in canada, and use HSPDA.
The phone was also showing baseband version I9020AXXKF1, it should be I9020AUCKD1.
I've tried restoring from a backup, flashing back to cm7 and to stock fw's, and even tried flashing the radio.
My phone still shows GPRS, and now baseband version shows I9020AXXKD1.
Is there any way to fix this? I hope someone here is knowledgeable about this...
That baseband is associated with the i9020t, or the t-mobile variant. The canadian nexus s is identical to the at&t version.
There is a sticky with all the roms. Use it and get the right rom installed
Unfortunately, the ROM I need seems to be one of the missing ones. Is there any way to backup the radio from my wife's (identical) phone and flash it to mine?
It looks like the file I need is 5282b5b3eb74.signed-sojua-ota-178324.5282b5b3.zip but I'm unable to locate a working link for the file. Can anyone tell me if this is correct and/or provide a live link?
Actually that particular one you want has broken tethering... This is a dump is the 2.3.4 with I9020AUCKD1 radio from my US import i9020a tested and working on SaskTel HSDPA+.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7812800/Stock-GRJ22-i9020A-unsigned.zip (will need to be flashed via CWM Recovery)
Thanks! I got it working by flashing the unsigned ROM in the sticky thread, and I'm running cyanogenmod 7.1 RC now. I'll keep the stock ROM on file just in case though...

Cool... I hope it works out well for you.
btw i got a rooted version of the stock 2.3.4 if you are interested as well.
So, for some reason flashing with your ROM set my phone to UMTS. Can someone refer me to a howto to backup a full ROM image from a phone, since my wife's is working fine and is on the right type of network.
Need some help for my device [T-Mobile] HTC ONE S (S4). I'm using in INDIA.
For the past 3 years i have used this phone in 3G network with out any issues. Last week i flashed a new ROM but after that i don't get 3G signal.
I tried a lot of ROM's and Radios but still it is not working. So i flashed the stock ROM and RADIO but still its not working. I understand the bands the T-Mobile uses differs but it was working fine before flashing a different ROM.
I don't know what to do.
So please if any one using the same do upload your ROM and RADIO and other things that influence the phone to work.
P.S: I posted in various threads and asking for help but i don't get any reply hence started a new thread so everyone like me can find it useful.
Thanks.
EDIT:
I flashed the Official T-Mobile JB RUU and my phone started to reboot after showing up the "preparing Phone Storage" (soft bricked)
Finally solved the issue:
I have flashed the official T-Mobile JB RUU after relocking the bootloader, S-ON, change CID- ********(Stock cid , In my case its T-MOB010).
Now i have a brand new phone working good.

thanks for the reply,
I tried it and still my radio gets error . voice quality gone to worst.
I tried to install a custom rom again without s-off and i succeded but my phone reboots occasionally and my radio disconnects from the network occasionally and do get it back i need to search for network.
Atleast all other things work good.
Im planning to try to flash my kernel with the official stock kernel downloaded from HTC .
Will post if that works.
Thanks again
Best voice quality is in stock rom!
[MANDATORY INTRODUCTORY SENTENCE DEPLOYED] Okay so as the title states I have an issue with my Sprint HTC One (m7) [MANDATORY INTRODUCTORY SENTENCE Complete].
The issue in question is lack of GPSability after flashing (you guessed it) Cyanogenmod 11 and currently CM12. I have tried multiple ROMs since then and all of them either don't fix the issue or wont install or work at all. So now I'm back to CM12 and everything works terrifically except for GPS...which I need...alot.
Now of all the research I've done on finding a fix for this infuriating problem has led me to believe that the only real way to fix this is to flash to a stock ROM, get a GPS fix/lock/signal/whathaveyou and then wipe and flash back over to your ROM of choice HOWEVER....heh heh I kinda un-acquired my backup, it somehow got erased during some blunder during the initial rooting process and I was dumb enough to not have saved a backup on my pc...oops.
Now I am aware that there are other ways of restoring my device to stock by other means such as RUU processes but I am not able to perform this process as my internet connection on my pc is dependent on my phone itself via tethering.
I also know that some have had luck by flashing new kernels however I have not been able to find one that worked for me.
So I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know of any other way I could restore my phone to stock using methods that don't require my pc to be connected to the internet, know of a place where I can find a flashable stock ROM or simply just fix my GPS issue outright?
I appreciate any assistance anyone can offer and hope I even have this posted in the right area. Thank you in advance.
