lol this is funny

Being someone who owns a Zune HD, why would you want the Zune Application ported? Android's music player is great, as is Zune's UI, but what good would the Zune Experience do on the Evo when you can't sync it to the Zune Software? But I digress, if it is the look and feel you're looking for, check the marketplace for Zune Home, it pretty much is the Zune UI as a Launcher for your Evo.

I was mainley worried about the video part not so much the music or feel....

Multi Track Recorder App?

Does anyone know of a multi-track recording app similar to meTeor on Windows Mobile?
I used to love this on my HTC HD2 but haven't been able to find anything close to it on Android?
It was really handy for me to get song ideas down roughly before going into the studio so would love to get up and running on my HTC Desire!

What Zune program? If you want a hack for a paid app, you are in the wrong site. Any requests for pirated software are against the rules and as such will be shut down.
No I don't want a paid app it is a app for a windows phone. I have a zune account were I get my music from and would love to get it on this phone

How could you even get a Zune app for Android, I may be wrong but I don't see them compatible with each other whatsoever.
Come on think a little, I have zune software on my computer, I have songs on my computer that I got through a subscription so they are protected and only plays on my computer or on my zune but they also work on my friends phone, which is a windows phone with a zune program on it. I want the program that he has on his phone on my phone.

I'll quote you and adapt :
"Come on think a little", Google is another OS from another company that offers its own products and soon, its own music store and app. Don't you think this means that you won't be able to get a full Zune support ?
I'm sure there are applications on the market (look for them) that will help you out but you won't get the complete Zune experience. For that, you must get a Windows Phone, where everything goes through the Desktop Zune player actually.
I know that some music players on the market have an iTunes sync integration but it would be the same logic : if you want a full iTunes experience, you have to buy an iPhone...
Connect to pc using Media Player Mode. Go into windows media player, find your songs in the Subscriptions folder, and sync with the device. (may have to resync every month to update the DRM)

[Q] Windows 7 music player?

I know this is gonna be a longshot... I just migrated to an Android tablet from Windows 7. Is there an app that is similar or cloned off W7 music player?
TIA
Perhaps Fede Music is something for you. It should look like Windows Phone 7 music player.

I cant seem to find it in the market. Tried google and found this:

Yes, it is from the developers of LauncherPro.
Yes, the dev of LauncherPro fame, Fede, came out with a WP7 clone.
As you found and others pointed out, it's not in the market yet but you can download the latest alpha version and install it on your device.

Thanx guys! Very interesting. Will try and flash it right now...

Audiobook Support in Windows Phone?

Hi, I'm extremely new to Window Phone and I'm wondering what is the best way to play audiobooks on this device?
Coming from iPhone I'm used to creating a smart playlist and setting all the tracks to skip on shuffle. Can I do that on WP7? Or is an app the best solution?
I've looked at using Overdrive Media Control on Windows and an app from here zunescene.mobi/forums/index.php?topic=47145.0 to convert it to a compatible format. But then there doesn't seem to be an easy way of deleting the files.
Anyway advice would be much appreciated!
Try "OverDrive Media Console in the Market Place.

I disagree. Zune is great for music, but crap for audio books.

I'm glad to see MX player on Windows phone and Windows 8
The app is okay for now, but it looks stretched on Lumia 1520.
Microsoft should replace their official video player with MX player, it's life the best video player on all platforms.
Keep up the good work guys ?
Very happy to see MX Player for Windows Phone.
Hope to see more updates in the coming weeks !
All the best devs. Good work (Y)

Hi . Can I know when is the next update coming for windowsphone . Please..... And also I'm eager to know when will be the .mkv support & subtitle support coming. PLEASEEEEEE let me know
Finally, the best media player app in android makes its way to Windows Phone platform...
I carry two phones, who used to be both android, but I was really curious about WP and so I bought a used Lumia 620, and although its a low-end phone, I'm getting to really like this OS. I already made it my main phone and I am starting to move everything I use in Android to WP.
It's true that Android is much more open and customizable, but I've reached a point that, not being a developer, I'm tired of having to root and do all kinds of tweaking to android in order to get the most out of it. I already have all the apps I need. The only ones that I miss most are Pokerstars, google play music and one that I use to mount a network drive through SSH (now I use Plex for that). And I really missed MXPlayer because of all the features it has (HW+ is a must). I really hope it reaches android version, and the feature I miss the most now is the ability to play m3u8 streams from internet (online tv site).
Though VLC is still WAY behind MX development, I believe it would be a good idea to make a donation program or something similar, as they did, because I'm willing to help out the development.
I suppose you already know this, but MS is dropping app development in Silverlight and moving to WinRT only, so apps in Windows Phone 10 will only work if developed in WinRT (in order to work on all platforms - Windows, Windows RT and Phone).
When can we expect the update ?
Eagerly waiting
I completely agree with mata_rose. Got fed up with Android a year ago and switched to WP, Im satisfied bec all apps that you used in android has an equivalent app and if not its better app in WP. You dont need to root and custom to enjoy full feature in WP..enjoying my lumia 1520 with great camera..

Relax, guys. Any bugs you see on Windows Phone and/or Windows 8 Metro apps... keep in mind that this is a recent port, to a completely new development environment. It will take time for everything to settle, and for a stable version to be released. It's STILL IN BETA right now.
