I am trying to figure out if I Unlock the Galaxy S 4G will I simply be able to go on Boost.com to input the ESN to the upgrade information on that page and will it allow me to use it for Boost? My Boost account is current, but I wanna use the Galaxy S 4G instead of the Prevail that I have. Any suggestions???
Isn't the GS4G a GSM Phone? The Prevail is a CDMA running on Sprints Network. Mainly all Boost smart phones are CDMA, or IDEN. So no, I'm sorry. If you use a regional carrier for T-Mo *as the GS4G is a T-Mo Band phone*. Walmart's Family Mobile is epic. It's also a HSUPA+ and 4G Network.
I'm sick of my Sprint service dropping calls and would like to switch to Verizon. I can stomach the ETF, but new phones aren't in the budget for now. I have a Motorola XPRT and an HTC Evo 4G. Can these be activated on Verizon's 3G network? Would I need to root / install CyanogenMod? 4G isn't a priority.
Thanks!
Verizon won't enter the ESN into their billing system. You could get a prepaid from verizon then use CDMA workshop to copy the settings to your Xpert BUT cdma workshop will cost you 108 bucks.
you MIGHT be able to use the EVO 4G but you will not get EVDO data to work from what I have been reading.
Will my phone get service if I manually use a tmobile prl? I have a sprint galaxy s2, flashed to metro pcs. but it seems only tmobile gets service where I live.
Will this actually work?
Here is my problem...
I have 2 months in my sprint contract & need a smart phone that can use sprints wimax. I'm going to switch to at&t unlimted go phone after & would like to use the same phone to get at&t's LTE speed here in Las Vegas.
Do I have any options?
I would hate to buy a wimax phone for 2 months then buy another for for At&t LTE.
Also at&t unlimited go plan includes LTE correct??
Hi,
I'm using a verizon M8 on a non-verizon network. The Verizon version should support 4G LTE on band 3 and 14 (the hardware should even support 3,4,7,13). My provider supports 4G LTE on band 3 and 7, yet i don't receive 4G.
I'm guessing Verizon locks 4G to their network. Is there any way to unlock my phone so i can use 4G LTE with my provider? (T-mobile NL)
I am willing to do anything. Already reflashed my phone with verizon ROM but that doesn't help obviously because it's not a stock rom..
Thanks!
There is a working solution for the Android:

I think, there IS a way to adopt it to the Windows Phone.
htc m8 for windows verizon
Any news how to activate lte band?
