I have previously read about the battery gauge being inaccurate. I've searched but cannot find.how to correct this. Ant help is appreciated.

All i wanna do is get rid of the battery percentage numbers. Got the morph with the round battery but the stupid percentage numbers are all off center!! haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello everyone,
I'm running some tests to see the battery consumption on my Galaxy S i9000. I'm using the gingerbread version of darkys ROM.
Firstly, what do you think of the battery life? In this specific test I used the phone in a very light way, made some messages/calls and read few mails.
Secondly, is it normal to have depressions in the battery chart that display less battery than it shows later? How is it computed? Isn't just some logic level of the voltage battery?
Lastly, in the case of buying another battery, is it worthless to be genuine?

These show how to calibrate and monitor the battery usage, but this is for the desire HD. Therefore I don't think that the results can be compared to the sensation, so im struggling to determine the normal consumption of the sensation.
So i'm asking people to post there usage using the method stated in the above posts, therefore some comparisons can be done.

I put this topic as it seeks long-rom on which the battery holds. For some time I have a problem with it because it is quickly discharged. I tried wm 6.5 clean, but the same effect. If anyone knows how to solve my problem, what rom is designed to please write back.
Almost sure that your battery is aging now. Different ROMs hardly ever make a difference for runtime of the battery. Safest is to check with the shipped ROM.
The original VOX batteries (from Simplo) are not long lasting (compared to Sanyo Batteries that HTC used in the Tornado) - and due to the age of the device you may have problems in getting a good replacement.
