Re: Surveillance Cam App
I am using IP Cam Viewer Lite and it works well with my Trendnet 312W.
It is in the marketplace and is free.
I use Tiny DVR. Its virtually the same as Eye See U on the iPhone, identical settings for viewing my IP Camera
Tiny DVR
Try Tiny DVR. Search Market or SlideME.
It looks like Tiny DVR does not support Geovision cams at the moment directly but you can add custom CGI request to your cam image there. Or contact the developer to do that for you.
for win mobile?
Ehm people,
there is an app promoted here in the forum, even on the same page of this subforum... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116764
And if you don't like this, you could try the one from "Securet" (find it on the market)...
Cheers, berkley

He is looking for an app to watch.
I use my app WebLiveWallpaper for that - xda thread is here:

So, wondering if there is any good "webcam" apps out there yet? Tried Qik, not exactly what I'm looking for even on the live stream... Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I think you may be able to use the Ustream Broadcasting app...or Fring for video chat
If you're looking for something that lets you use the phone as a webcam for your computer then look for an app called "USB Webcam" from Placaware in the market
It's a bit buggy but it's the only app of its kind (that I know of)
Sent from my HERO200 using XDA App
I use Orb through the browser. Works like a charm.
DROIDCAM...works absolutely perfect! This is by far one of the easiest webcam apps to navigate also...easier to setup then most of them.
i would like to ask if is there any app for use my htc hd 7 as a web cam ?
No i dont think so -.-
It wouldn't have been possible before Mango to do this, but now I believe Camera and port access is available so perhaps an app will be on the way in the following months? It would never be able to run in the background however.
You could send the video stream to the PC from an app on the phone. Getting the PC to recognize the stream as coming from a webcam would require writing a driver, though. This is possible but not trivial.
Hi all,
Has anyone tested a webcam with CX-803 TV stick. I tried a few but it doesn't show my video on skype on any other camera app.
I'd really like to connect my webcam (logitech STX) and to skype video calls and stuff.
Im running stock Rom (rooted) 4.1.1
Please let me know if there is a way to install drivers or anything to make webcams work with it.
Thanks
Hey everybody... I have a question.
Are there any apps or services that would enable me to broadcast my screen to the web for other people to view (to give live demos of a project I am developing remotely)? Everything Ive found is only local to my own network at best.
Thanks

I don't know of any that could directly stream it online. The closest thing would be to stream it to your own PC over network then using your PC to stream that capture.
