MityMic - Desire Accessories

Hi ,
As you know the microphone in the HTC Desire is poor .
I saw today this external microphone:
http://touchmic.com/products-page/v...-mitymic---voice-recording-and-interview-mic/
Would it work with HTC Desire ? Thanks

This is a microphone, not a speaker.

Sorry for the embarrassing mistake

Well then, if you meant a microphone, I guess it should work with HTC Desire.
You should probably check whether Desire supports connecting microphone-equipped headset through it's 3.5 jack, but I'm pretty sure it does.
UPD: I've just checked: Desire does support external microphones, so it should work fine.

Ok , Thank you a lot !

earphone not working

i have two htc official headphones,
first headphone problem
when i connect the headphones to mobile or laptops etc, there is no sound from speaker of headphones, but sign on laptop and desire hd shows that headphones are connected
second headphone problem
when i connect the headphones to desire hd or laptop. Voice is very low and distorted.there is some kind of noise coming from the speaker.
Any suggestion how to fix the headphone
Jack of laptop and desire hd is fine. I have tried other headphone they are working fine
I guess that the headphones as a bug, it feels that you did all the tests.
i think both are broken
i guess some connector are break
Unfortunately, the headphones are a bit fragile. 2 of mine got issues on their own
It makes more sense to get new ones
can you test it on another device?
Else the keys are wrong, i had it some time too on a costum rom
Check the pin on your earphones for any damage like deep scratches

I have a similar problem: After updating to IceColdSandwich, my original HTC headphones don't work, but Bluetooth Headset is fine.
Anyone know how to fix that?
Same for me... Think its caused by IceColdSandwich... It worked perfectly before on RunnyDroid... Maybe it will be fixed in next Version?!
why do my calls sound different (bad) than music or other audio?
I had the same problem with mine HTC headphones. I just threw them and bought new ones. You could try to get them repaired but I dont think its worth it. You can buy better headphones.
If you call up HTC and give them ur imei they'll send you out a new pair.

External Microphone Audio Recording

Hey Folks,
I have a HTC Sensation coming in the mail today as a replacement to my Atrix 4G that is showing it wear.
What I do is vlogging on my motorcycle but I've been having a real issue with my audio setup. I just purchased an external Microphone:
ATR-3350-Omnidirectional-Condenser-Microphone (ON AMAZON)
Now what I want to do is record on the android using the above listed Microphone. Does anyone know if I need a 3.5MM TRRS adapter or other kind of conversion adapter? Or perhaps a specific application to use the external Microphone?
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
NewF
Sorry if its a stupid question but don't condenser mikes need phantom/48V?

[Q] Audio output / quality

Hi
I'm really interested in this one. Will it be able to drive the Sennheiser hd 25-sp ii? I have the 70Ω version.
Most likely.

As far as I can tell, it's nearly identical to the "beats" output of the DNA and the M7. It shouldn't have an issue, my Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro's are actually way too loud near higher volumes but they're not 70ohms lol.
I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced any issues with their 1/8" audio plug not seating correctly in the new One's audio jack. I've noticed that with the included HTC headphones I cannot consistently get the Left channel to work, which is rather annoying and makes music unlistenable. Twisting the cable and jiggling doesn't consistently fix it, and I don't want to use too much force as that could damage the jack. Luckily, I have another headset that seems to work without a hitch but the HTC headphones also work fine in other devices. I'm not sure if it's a borked audio jack or a crappy headphone problem, but I'm wary of running into this issue again anytime I buy new headphones.

HTC Headphone problem!

Everytime I plug in my earphones into my Htc desire u and listen to some audio, all i can hear is the music and background noises. There is no voice. It seems to work fine with my beats headphones. The earphones work fine with other devices. Please help. Thanks in advance.

just try to clean the the jack of the phone from dust. I had the same problem. After trying to clean it gently with a thin needle i managed to remove an impressively big ball of dust
The problem was in the phone!
Turns out HTC supports only limited headphones/earphones.
yeah, had same problem with pins inside the 3,5 jack

Microphone not working

Hello guys,
My microphone in my sensation XE is not working because the mic port's pins on the motherboard are broken. (long story..). So replacing the microphone will not help, I would need to replace the entire motherboard or to solder tiny tiny pins which I definitely can't do.
However, plugging headset with microphone do the trick, and i'm able to input voice to the phone and talk to people.
My question is, How can I make the phone read only the microphone from the headset. I want to shorten some crappy headset and leave the mic plugged in while I fix it to the back case.
Thank you

So you want to make the headset mic as the default one?
Thats definitely not easy. Maybe possible with an xposed module?? But this doesnt exist so far.

No one? K, I'm making a patent: wired microphone for phones, sound output will be the regular speaker.
