Problem with CWM backup

I've used CWM quite a few times with great success but having trouble now.
Running Darkyrom 10.4.2 with semaphore kernel on a SGH-T959D, when I try to backup I get the following:
E:failed to mount /dbdata (invalid argument)
--Installing package...
Finding update package...
Verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
This while trying to do a rom backup. I've just flashed the semaphore kernel the other day, not sure if this is contributing to my problem. I've also tried to reinstall the app but no love. I was able to boot into recovery and do a backup from there however.
Anyone help a brutha out? I'd be very appreciative...

Software update crash

Just downloaded the latest update and this is what's happening all the time.
I get phone with red square and question mark, I'm using vol-up and power and:
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
Installing update...
Copying fotaboot to /data/system for customise reload...
Verifying current system...
assert failed: apply_patch_check("/system/app/AppSharing.apk", "f8714e2420be7831ed33d23ef4902e57b7aa569a", "19405a34a62d20460ee421ba25f98d773468ad09")

That error mean you dont have the correct system version (3.32.401.5_R) installed. More likely you have 3.32.401.5 (without the _R) so you either need to download the 3.32.401.5_R RUU from Football's Shipped ROM collection thread or you need to download the 3.33.401.6 RUU from the same thread

Cannot update to jelly bean after root

I used this root utility to root my non developers version droid RAZR maxx HD. Followed all the directions and when I try to update to jelly bean, I get this message:

You must have deleted or disabled some of the Verizon bloatware on your phone... Now you can't update your phone. Try to find the original APK files or reflash back to ICS and then upgrade through both JB versions so you won't lose root.

update.zip installation failure Motorola Droid

I am having problems installing the update.zip file to my Moto Droid. When I am in recovery mode and select "apply sdcard:update.zip" the following comes up on the screen

Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:EOCD marker ooccurs after start of ECOD
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
I have tried deleting and re-copying the update.zip file and tried applying it again with no luck. Every time it comes up with the same message.
This is my first time rooting a device so I lack knowledge about these things.

[Q] Flashing CM11S

Hi there, if anyone could help me get through this installation, it'd be greatly appreciated.
I'm a newbie at flashing, but not a newbie with computers.
I'm trying to flash CM 11S v1.5 but have run into numerous issues. I'm running CWM, have updated bootloader (HHZ11K), and my drivers are on point.
Right now, I'm trying to have it install from the zip in the root directory, and it won't install:
"E:Can't open ... (bad)
Installation aborted."
If I toggle signature verification, it says:
"Finding update package ...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification failed"
What am I doing wrong?

Bad means corrupt. Re-download
