I published using app inventor (The Paint Place) - Android Apps and Games

I have built a decent app using app inventor. It is possible and doesn't acquire almost any knowledge using the command prompt to hack your app so you can publish in the market. If you guys have apps waiting for google to let you publish apps from app inventor then this youtube video will help you publish almost instantly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdMuDyvNkRU I did not make this video so if you have any questions regarding the video let him know. My app is called The Paint Place, it comes up in the app drawer called paintpotv2. check it out. http://www.appbrain.com/app/the-paint-place/appinventor.ai_ryguymoeller.PaintPotV2

Thanks a lot for this I have been looking for this

Hi, could you make the video a little bit more...available? I can't see it, and I'm interested in publishing apps from the app inventor

App Inventor Developers

Upon finding out that I can't upload my programs made in app inventor to the market (currently google restricts this), I decided to help some other AI developers out and allow them to post their apps for download on my website: www.xxthe3dmanxx.com
Curently I am only accepting apps that fall under these requirements.
1) The app must be useful to the android community (no fart or porn type apps)
2) The app must be free (currently I have no way to accept paid apps)
3) OpenSource is recommended but not required.
4) The app must have been made by you.
5) Only app inventor made apps will be accepted.
If you are interested send me a pm with a description of your app and your name for (application credit), if your app is a beta please list known issues with it. If I approve your app I will send you info on where you can send your app. Also if you would like, once your app gets approved you can also send me an icon for your app and I will replace the stock app inventor icon for you (currently there is no way to do this inside app inventor).
Please allow 2 days for a response from me.
hey =D
I can't even get into the appinventor D=
Does some1 know how to get in there?

App inventor is currently available by invite from google only. Go HERE and fill out the form then wait for your invite. Hope that helps.

[Q] I want to submit an app to android market.

Hello! I have a few questions.
So, I have this android app that allows people to download mp3 files from other sites. No content is hosted on my server.
I saw that there are lots of apps that do the same thing in the android market.
1) If I submit my app to Android Market, will it be approved?
2) If I register using my real name, can something happen to me? For example, can an artist sue me because I allow people to download content using my app? Or will the app just be removed from the market if someone complains?
Thanks!
Flame suit?
I hope it fits...

The app is not reviewed when it is initially put on the market. If a user complains, then the app will be taken off. I don't know if an artist will sue you however.
But if SOPA passes then your chances of getting sued will go up.

[APP][FREE] Android MOD Market

I have been working on this app for a long time. I think it is finally at a stage where I can say it is stable and ready for the masses to take hold. It has been listed on google play now for over a year as a paid and free app.
When I worked on ROM's it was tedious updating so many threads after completing a new update. So I developed Android MOD Market
Android MOD Market is an app that scavenges through CyonaogenMOD, MIUI-US and XDA searching for APPs, MODS and ROMS; reads the posts, picks out information and makes it available in an easily searchable and categorized app.
I guess you could call it a ROM, MOD and APP search engine with some added features. You can set presets for your favorite listings and have it notify you when the listing is updated.
Unlike ROM Manger, GOO-IM or many other popular apps and update notifiers, AMM does not require the developer to do anything additional but post it to a forum thread. New listings are usually picked up by AMM with in a few hours and any update is available immediately to a user.
You can view the AMM website (in my sig) and view the listings there, get the free app from Google Play (ad supported) or if ads aren't your thing feel free to purchase an ad free version also Available on Google Play.
Check it out here...
Website = www.androidmodmarket.com
Free Ad Supported Version = https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thunderstick.androidmodmarketfree
Paid Ad Free Version = https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thunderstick.androidmodmarketpro
Why would you do this to me?

That's strange, not sure why your device is not compatible. Let me check the listing. APK attached to OP...
Resuscitating this thread...
APP has made some major milestones lately. IF you tried it in the past and disregarded it, feel free to give it another try. It is definitely much different now.
APK in OP updated to reflect the latest free version available from the playstore.

How to share apps on android

Hi guys,
Today morning, I was on the bus with a friend. He wanted to check whether his phone's magnetometer works. So he asked me if I had the 'compass' app. I did have it, but I didn't know how to send it to him. I knew that it was possible, but I didn't have the app that allows you to share files. But luckily he had the app. So he sent the sharing app to me using the sharing app itself so that I could share the app that he wanted. Too many “sharing” words in the last sentence, forgive me.
So I was now able to send the 'compass' app to him easily in seconds.
The 'sharing app' that we used is called “ShareCloud (share apps)”. Certainly not the most creative name but trust me it is very useful. This app lets us send apps via Bluetooth, face to face(p2p, by creating a wi-fi hotspot), WhatsApp, facebook, email and numerous other ways. I will talk about some of them further in the post. Basically all it does is, it copies the installation file and sends it through the specified way. So once the app is received on the other device, it needs to be installed. The file will only get installed is the device supports the app to function. Using this app is a child's play. It has a very easy-to-use interface. You literally have to just select the app and send it. It is as simple as that. This app is available for free to download on the google play store. This app doesn't take up much space and it works almost magically. The best part is, you don't have to root your phone to use this app.

Identify system apps

Hello all,
I have a very long list of app packages (about 10k long), I would like to identify whether an app is a system app in some android phone.
I tried to use the google-play API to look for them in the market, but I saw that there are system application that are available on the market.
Does anyone have an idea of how can I do it?
Any help will be appreciated,
Thank you
If you have xda labs there Is a app called app manager and you can use filter system or user:good:
