[Theme] Vanilla Android for Sense [PMF 1.0] [ALPHA] [WIP]

By request, I have put together a stock android theme for PMF 1.0 (cause it's deodexed)
I replaced some files in services.jar to get the clock in the status bar to be black, but you'll notice that notification text is still white. If anyone has good java skills and wants to help with decoding .smali files so we can get black notification text then please pm me.
If you guys like this and want to encourage further development please donate.
This theme will not work with any odexed sense rom. You can try, but you'll get bootloops. Don't say i didn't warn you

Ok. To install this place the .zip onto the root of my sd card and apply through the clockwork recovery mod, correct? Also after applying this, how do I disable/remove it if I do not like it? Thanks

You can either re-flash the rom, or restore a nandroid backup.

Can you please do a NexTheme one too please?

Maybe when I have time. I have a lot on my plate as far as my own ports and new themes.

I just installed the taskbar and it looks great, much better than the stock taskbar. The only thing is, my clock still shows up with white text, not black.

I used update.zip and applied over stock Sense.
I actually just read the first post a little closer, it still works with stock sense, only issue is the lighter colored clock in the top right corner. Thanks for all the hard work, I'm really liking the themes.

It's just the status bar right now, but sooner or probably a bit later it'll be everything. keep in mind this is a alpha testing release so its very much not finished.

Location still uses the black icon, also 3g seems to switch back and forth between the black and white icons.
Other than that, it's great! I love it.

This may be a dumb question (sorry I am new to the game) but do I need to root my phone first? Or can I apply this "theme" using the same method I installed the OTA leaks and updates on my un-rooted droid eris (place files on SD and restart phone holding down power+volume down)?

You applied it correctly, if you are talking about what I think you are.
What happens on mine is when the 3g becomes inactive (just inactive, not disabled) it reverts to the old icon.
See if thats the case with you as well.

I can... I've been working on the red theme for cyanogenmod and an accompanying adw theme, but I can switch projects if that's what the people want.

Color menus? Does anyone have JUST those?

I like the Aloysius and I like the other couple themes using his color menus... That said, thats ALL I want... The color menus.

I actually started to go threw all the apk files in Aloysius last night. I've been trying to ask the writer of Aloysius if he would make just a color menu ad-don but he either never saw my posts in his thread or wasn't interested.
Trying to figure out if I can just replace the png files etc so when I install it I get the icons I want now. If I figure it out, I'll let you know. Either way it's going to be zip that's flashable from recovery but not a whole ROM, heck even the writer of Aloysius released it as both a rom and a theme so you dont HAVE to flash a rom.

+1 if anyone gets this working.

It's not that I wasn't interested....but you want the png's/color menus to go where. I have a theme that is not a whole ROM like you are looking for in the themes thread. If I just pick a rom that is from "stock" it might not be compatible with the one you are running or another person is running. If I create a stock looking theme with just the color menus.....everyone will have to flash that paritcular ROM that I am throwing the menus onto.
I can't just make a color menus theme that fits all stock ROMS.....so which "one" stock rom do you ALL want to flash and use to get the color menus with?

Ok, as I did with Impaled Gold and Impaled Blue, I created a xml file to make setting your notification colors easier. I hope this helps you out. A couple of disclaimers: 1. This will not change any colors on the genie widget, aka news and weather widget. Secondly, it will not set the color of the power control widget in the pulldown screen. That must be set manually.
Color code: #ffff0003
1. Download the attached .zip file.
2. Go to your sd card root and look for a folder named CMTheme. If it isn't there, make one.
3. Extract the .xml from the .zip.
3. Locate where you extracted the .xml file to and move it to the CMTheme folder.
4. Next, return to your home screen, then: menu > settings > CyanogenMod settings > User interface > Tweaks extra > Select a theme.
5. Choose the theme and tap OK.
6. Reboot to set the colors.
7. ENJOY!!!!

[THEME] ExtremeCyan_CM.2.3.Theme

This is my ExtremeCyan theme for CM7 (2.3) nightlys. I will update this theme with changes to CM to keep it up to date. To apply the theme CM7 and the latest gapps must be already on the phone.

I flash the zip from recovery, but i had an infinite loop on cyano logo at the startup!!!

Sorry it was me being lazy it's updated now and working.

I just tried this on the MicroMod CM7 v3 Rom (based off of the fitsnuggly build) it worked great.
Only thing that I thought stood out as odd it the notification icon in menu is green?
attached a screenie so you can see what I mean.

Ok I've looked through all of my theme I still can't find them pngs. It might be because you are using a different home replacement my theme is based apon ADW. What home replacement are you using? maybe I could theme the home replacement you're using.

Nice theme but one thing I noticed is when you press something (in settings for example) the color is still orange not Cyan.. thanks!

thanks one more thing if it's ok, maybe to much to ask but if you could keep the stock icons on launcher? I just like the status bar and other things (when you press items etc) to be themed, the icons looks nicer when they are stock, just my opinion thanks

lol ok what i'll do is upload a metamorph of my theme so you can pick and choose what you want from it. It will be ready not long after the next nightly.

Love the theme, but with the last couple of Nightly's I've noticed a horizontal cyan line on the top of the Sim password and Lock screens. Anything that can be done about that?

[REQ] Blackbar Lockscreen for Fresh 3.5 (3.70 base)

Wondering if anyone can fix the Blackbar lockscreen to work with 3.70 based sense roms. When i try the older ones they have undesired effects on other things like timestamps. Please please please! I miss my black bar! Not a big fan of the aosp lockscreens. If i knew how I'd do it myself.

I would love to see this as well!!!!!

Can you make a version with the black bar and also the green highlights for the expresso rosie? The Fresh highlights are currently blue and don't match the stock theme.

I think I miss interpreted your question earlier. I just uploaded the stock Fresh resource file thinking that you were going to change the blue hl to green and also add in the black lock bar.
Here is the resource file that is Fresh 3.5 Compatible which already has the green highlights on the expresso rosie. Could do mod this for me one more time?
