I've been searching for awhile on this forum, but I still can't find a way to create a shortcut that takes you DIRECTLY to a new text message or new calendar item.
Since I have my calendar on the homescreen, the only reason I actually go into the calendar app is to create stuff - why not just have the shortcut directly to it?
This seems like it would be relatively easy to do, but any ideas on this or something like it would be greatly appreciated Ideally, I'd like to set my 2 homescreen softkeys to those for one-touch access.....
thanks in advance

you can use the attached file for sms sending. it's a standart eten's utility. place it anywhere and make a shortcut to it)
Was wondering if anyone has come across or can develop something to have bubble style text messaging...for the HD2... where the conversations come up in bubbles like you can on the Droid? I have looked all over and can not find anything. Please help

Came across an HTC_IME apk with trace and was wondering if anyone wanted to have a go and get this working on our evo's. I pushed it onto mine only to get fc's over and over. Running Synergy RLS1 if that has anything to do with anything

just curious, did you have the HTC ime installed prior to trying this trace version? sorry, but not familiar with your rom, whether or not it uses htc's stock kb...
Hi, just wondering if it would be possible to remove the direction arrows on the trace keyboard. seems like a wast of space to me?
Due to lack of posts i can't post this on the development forum, but maybe someone can help. Installed latest Fallout rom with Sense 4 and ICS but notice on the google talk app, which i use a lot, i can no longer add smileys to messages, or use smileys (emoticons) anywhere to be honest. Used to hit menu and option to insert smiley was there on sense 3.5, but no longer on sense 4. How do i do that, I need the smileys. Can't see a button anywhere.
Guess no-one knows the answer to this. On ICS, go to google chat, and see if there is a smiley list? Used to be on sense 3.5, not on sense 4, yet there should be. Yes you can enter smileys manually, or some are on the onscreen keyboard, but there used to be a list, so you can see them, see what they are rather than symbols. On reading google chat help, that option should still be there.
Any help would be appreciated
I don't have the list in GTalk either. It's a little frustrating, because I love using smileys to express myself, but I love Sense 4 too much to go back to Sense 3.5.
The list of smileys shows in the messaging app, however.
It's quite frustrating, not sure if its a sense 4 issue or intentionally missing from GTalk. Had to go back to sense 3.5 as i miss those smileys and use Gtalk all the time
Hi Guys,
Wondered if anyone could quickly knock up a KitKat Contacts APK for the note, but based on Gingerbread style. So where a contact doesnt have a photo associated with it, under the normal one you'd get an outline (like out of Cluedo)....
Wondered if anyone could either add these, or make their own one??
Cheers, Lister
Hi guys,
Nearly 400x views, and yet no one seems interested to replace the current stock (Zippy) based contact, with a more (Droid) based one...??

Just thought it might take us back to our roots, bit more Android themed...
