Is there any gingerbread theme for droid x running fission 2.4.3?
I think I saw someone say in another thread that if u don't mind trying out gummyjar, that it has the gingerbread theme built in. I believe that answer2 was in reference your same question. Look for a thread in this section called Full gingerbread theme 1.5
I know that's not exactly what you were looking for, but I believe there is someone working on a gingerbread theme for 2.4.3

Check FRM...freshly built
Thanks that's perfect. I've been waiting for this to update to 2.4.3.
Just curious, has anyone noticed that the gingerbread theme still uses the 2.2 Gmail icon in the status bar? All the other icons seem to be the correct 2.3 icons except for that one. Or is it just my phone?
I was wondering this, too. I'm not sure what the problem is.
Edit: You have to edit the .apk in /data/app to the GB icon.

I have found, from on the forum a brightness widget that looks like stock EVO sense. Problem is its the old version 2.01 of a modded curvefish widget. The newest version of the curvefish 2.2 also allows to set it back to auto from non auto. The new 2.2 I have supposedly is themes already but doesn't install right for me (shows curve fish image). I looked inside the apk and it still has the old image as icon.png. is there a way to transplant the icon.png from the old to the new so I can use it as the themed version? I can extract it from the old apk, but don't know how to re_apk_ify the files. Any help would be great. Both are attached.

There's a new HtcBrightnessWidget.apk in the newly leaked HTC Mecha ROM, but it won't work on the EVO unless someone ports it over.
Is there a gingerbread theme available for stock 3.70 roms? Can't seem to find any.

Im sure one of our creative devs could whip something up . Im only able to modify current flash zips with new icons . Without a template to work with I cant help you either . Also when you request this make sure you specify with or without battery percentage in the battery icon . There are a few variations of the GB bar floating around for various roms .
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=904861
This works well on stock 3.70. It also supports the toggle mod. I have attached screen shots. Kudos to the dev.
The battery icon is the gingerbread green, my battery just happened to be dead.
Also, This particular one I am using has battery percentages btw
I have tried numerous metamorph themes modifying the framework-res.apk, and they seem to apply just fine (metamorph gives me a "succesfully applied" notification). The thing is, once I reboot, nothing changes . I was working on modifying the lockscreen, and everything applied well, but it didn't show a difference. I figured I must have messed something up, so I applied another person's lockscreen mod and it acted in the exact same way. This is really frusturating me cause I have been working on different solutions for the past 2 hours, and nothing seems to be working.
I am using GB 2.3 (latest release), and do have a different theme applied using theme chooser, but as far as I am aware, it has no affect on the lockscreen files. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great!
Thanks in advance!

There's 5 versions of GB, which ROM do you have? And if you are using a theme it's important to know which one. Also, maybe throw some links up to the actual morphs you're using. Also, what exactly are you trying to do? Like what's the morph changing specifically. I mod my frameworkres.apk and SystemUI.apk manually with every flashover, (using aospCMod 3/26 and "androidian" from theme chooser) so *maybe* I can help.
I am using the rom on this page
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=864403
(AOSP 2.3.3 / CM7 (Gingerbread) [03/26/2011]).
I am using this "theme chooser" theme (Honeycomb Hero)
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=965216) (the one for CM7, obviously)
I tried to apply this lockscreen theme (MDPI version)
since it was targeting the same thing that I was working on; this was my test to see if it was my theme that was messed up, or if it was something else.
I am wanting to simply change the green unlock icon that you slide to unlock your phone, which is located in:
framework-res/res/drawable-land-mdpi
Hope this helps; thanks again.
I've used the lockscreen morph you're trying to apply on the same Rom a couple versions ago... I forgot which one but after reading some posts in the thread when I tried it on later versions it just didn't work because the framework has changed (i think) cuz it didn't work for me either. So you would probably have to post your framework in that thread & ask the op to make the new morph for you to work. I don't think its user error or anything like that. Hope that helps ...I really liked that lockscreen when it still worked on like 3/18 or somethin

Yeah thats something I might do too. I'm just wondering why the images that I edited aren't being changed. Maybe ill do a flash or push framework over, but that seems riskier. Thanks for the input

Right now I'm using the themed keyboard linked in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=957221 -- on CM7 Final. Looks great, love it, etc... just wondering if there are more themed keyboards out there that people can link in this thread. I'll try to stay on top of it and keep this post updated as new links are posted (with screenshots and links).
Again... looking for just stock, themed Gingerbread keyboards. If this has already been done, I apologize. And if there's no interest, I'll just let the thread die.
I was back & forth between Swype, SwiftKey, and used to use ShapeWriter back in the day on my Nexus One, but I've found that there really isn't a keyboard I like more than the stock Gingerbread keyboard.
I am also curious as I can't seem to find any others. Question for OP however. How do that Themed Keyboard and themed MMS work on RC4 without the rest of the theme?

Because they're technically separate applications.
Got it, they're awesome!
Free bump towards more themes!
So I have searched around on Google as well as XDA and I can't seem to find my answer. I would like to edit the default Sense 2.0 lock-screen images but I can't seem to find them. I know Rosie images are in the HTC Resources APK as well as the Framework Res APK but looking around in either one of these APKs has not led me to find the lock-screen images. If they are here, can anyone tell me which directory the PNGs are in as well as the file name?
While I am asking, what do I have to edit in Rosie to disable landscape mode?
Thanks for any help guys. I apologize if it has been answered before but my searches aren't helping.
I believe you need to look for the HTCLockScreen.apk. I don't remember where it is located though. Haven't used a Sense ROM in a long time.
*It's IncREDible*
The HTCLockscreen all doesn't have the pull down graphics that I am looking for. Already checked
FYI I am doing this on a Sense 2.0 ROM
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
They are in the com.htc.resources.apk and all begin with lockscreen
If I remember correctly the are in drawable-hdpi
Wow. Don't know how I missed them. Thanks for the help. Anybody want to help me tackle the rotating Rosie?
Like I said, haven't been on a Sense ROM in a LONG time. Not since Redemption Revolution first came out. Been running senseless or OMFGB ever since.
