Looks like we can use the Stock Recovery Console?

On the Motorola Forum for the Triumph, in ѕзгνвοτ χ response there is a reset feature of the phone.
I looks like the CWM in blue. Could we make use of this. You can take a look with these instructions and just select reboot and nothing changes.
Press and hold the POWER key and both volume keys.
Continue to hold all 3 keys until an exclamation point and a little green andy bot appear.
Press the HOME key to display the menu.
Navigate using the volume keys.
To make selections, use the BACK key.

when i press the combo (any of them) i get the logo of samsung, then it fades away & a total black screen appears!! once i remove my finger from teh power button the phone starts! is there anyone who can help me how to fix the button combo issue pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease
PS. my phone is NOT rooted!
Many thanks
what you are experiencing is because of overdoing in pressing the power button (specially for accessing recovery mode). simultaneously press the 3-combo - volume up/down + home button + power.

[FIX] Mobile data not working after lollipop update

Hey guys,
Had this mobile data not working problem after updating to lollipop.
I swept through some forums and realised most people were experiencing the same .
Well, here's a fix. (worked for mmine) [Don't forget the thanks Button]
First copy your important stuff from your memory to a pc oh don't forget to sync your contacts too. Good.
First we enter recovery mode:
How to Enter Recovery Mode on your
Motorola Moto G:
Start by turning off the handset by pressing the Power button
and then selecting ‘power off';
§ After a few seconds, you have to press the Volume up and
Volume down buttons along with the Power button
simultaneously until the Moto G boot menu is displayed on your
device;
§ Scroll down by using the Volume Down button until you reach
‘recovery’ and the press the Volume Up button for selecting the
option;
§ Wait for the Android logo to appear on your Moto G;
Press Volume Up and Volume Down buttons together and then
do the same for the Power button;
§ The recovery mode menu should appear instantly;
The process of entering the Recovery Mode on your Motorola
Moto G is over.
STEP 2
Now scroll with the Volume key down to "wipe cache" press the power button to initiate it
When formatting is complete scroll up to "factory wipe wipe". This will reset the phone to factory state.
Reboot when that's done. Cheers
NB: THE BOOT WILL TAKE LONG THAN IT NORMALLY DOES. Be patient

[HOWTO] Enter recovery without root and without a USB cable

Found this very useful and thought I'll share. Could be a dup but didn't find one.
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Press and hold the button on the bottom on the Nexus Player. As you’re holding the button, plug the power cord back in. Keep holding the button until you see “Google” on your TV screen.
3. Next, you’ll see a screen with an Android on its side, and the words “Normal Boot” at the top.
4. Press the button once. The text at the top will change to “Recovery mode.”
5. Press and hold the button for two seconds to select Recovery mode.
6. Press the button once.

TLDR: Pressing the button lets you navigate the bootloader menu and jump into recovery mode.

how to set hot key in scroll down meun for screen cap?

Now it has to call the screen cap by power off button, how to set it under scroll down meun? thanks.
Press power plus volume down button?
I've found holding down the power button is the best option. It gives you a menu with Screenshot in the list.
Alternative is as viperc suggested, or you could long press the home soft button and use the Google Share Screenshot feature?
