Oh damn totally forgot about permissions lol. Adding to OP if OK.
can someone please make it work for any phone non rooted? how hard shall it be for a regular live wallpaper i dont get it.
Don't bother with that wallpaper.
It uses over 50% cpu in system panel monitor, and it raises the power usage from 160 to 240 mA just having it on the screen.
Not to mention it will lag scrolling somewhat as well.

On SystemPanel its only used 1.2% of CPU usage over about 4 hours on my phone.
Works good for me and no above normal usage over other LWP's..

Super easy way!!! Adb
Here's a real simple way I installed the LiveWallpapers.apk for the Nexus S:
Download the LiveWallpapers.apk and move to your SDK TOOLS folder
Backup original LiveWallpapers.apk just in case, or for future reference.
Delete LiveWallpapers.apk from /system/app
CODESIEZ:
adb push LiveWallpapers.apk /sdcard/LiveWallpapers.apk
cat /sdcard/LiveWallpapers.apk > /system/app/LiveWallpapers.apk
adb reboot
BOOM! DONE!

I themed Swype to be flat and black to better fit my aesthetic and making the metamorph available here. Note this is just a metamorph, not the app; you have to have the app already. Keep a backup version of your APK on hand in case this theme doesn't work.
The version I used for this metamorph was Swype_v2.4.44.10912_WVGA_English_ANDROID.apk. I think it should work across WVGA versions as long as they have the same layout.
Here's the instructions- 1. make sure you have the most recent MetaMorph from the market
2 with a file manager like root explorer go into /data/app and find com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk
3 long press on the com.swype.android.inputmethod-1.apk and select move
4 navigate to /system/app and select paste
5 long press on it again and select rename, name it swype.apk (all lower case) then reboot phone
6 open up Metamorph and select unzip/extract new theme
7 navigate to the BlackSwype.zip and apply the theme
8 reboot again
note you have to reboot your phone 2 times during this process.
Enjoy.

I did it last night after installing Free X10 beta 3. It's attached.
It has Super Circle Battery Version B for white background, as well as the bootanimation fix (cobrato's post here).

NOTE: I've only tested this with Free X10 beta3. There's no guarantee that it will work on beta 2, and it definitely WON'T work on stock SE firmware.
I don't know how to make an xRecovery package yet, so unless someone else makes one (feel free), you'll need adb to install it:
1. Connect your phone through USB.
2. Copy framework-res.apk to your SD card root directory (/sdcard/).
3. Open a command prompt (in a directory that contains adb) and type:
adb shell mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock2 /system
adb dd if=/sdcard/framework-res.apk of=/system/framework/framework-res.apk
4. It will probably crash and reboot. This is normal. If not, reboot manually.

Click to collapse
WARNING: Do NOT use Root Explorer to copy framework-res.apk directly over the one in /system/framework/! I think it crashes before it finishes copying, so it'll be corrupted.

Hey guys, coming from a fascinate, we had some mods that I used and was trying out some with the Charge. These are system fonts that will show up in the menu in settings/display settings/font style.
We were flashing fonts from this thread.
They would work but we couldn't figure out how to get them to show up in the font style menu.
The credit goes out to thatdudebutch.
He made these apks and flashable zip to install, but when I tried it, my phone soft bricked. Not sure why, the pathway was correct, but just didn't work.
So, I just took out the meta-inf folder rezipped them, so there are about 70 font.apks in it. I can't believe they charge like a dollar for each font when you hit the "get fonts online" button.
To install, unzip the file and move the whole bunch to the data/app folder. They DO NOT go into the system/font folder. You need to be rooted and use a file manager like root explorer. They will show up in the font style menu and you can choose which to apply.
Download the zip here
Again all credit goes to thatdudebutch.

I'm on GB 2.3.4 leak and this is what I did:
1. Go to a file explorer, FE, that will allow you to edit internal phone files I use “Root Explorer,” and that’s what I’ll be referring. REMEMBER TO BE CAREFUL IN THERE YOU COULD MESS UP YOUR PHONE IF YOU DON'T PAY ATTENTION!!!!
2. In the FE find the “sdcard” and enter
3. Now find the zip you downloaded, I put mine on the root of my SD so it is easy to find, and LONG PRESS.
4. Extract All…now this may be different if you are using another FE; i.e.,
extract to or something of the sort
5. Go to where the files have been extracted
6. Yeah they are all here….
7. Hit menu and then “Multi-select” now if you are using another FE do what
you have to select all the files you want
8. Now that you are done selecting the files you want, copy it…
9. With the files you just copied, back out of the “sdcard” to the root of the
phone and find “data”
10. Now find “app” and enter
11. Whilst in the “app” folder paste the files you always wanted…your done.
Hope this helped
very nice step by step write up

Does anyone have the stock clock/alarm/timer apk that came with the phone? I kind of liked it.
Thanks!
If you know what the file name is I can post it for you. Odexed or Deodexed?
Here it is odexed, what I did was upload both SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk & SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.odex yet it only shows 1 file. This came from ED1.zip that is posted here on XDA.
Here it is deodexed and I only uploaded SamsungWidget_WeatherClock.apk from the ED1_Deodexed.zip here on XDA.
I think you are actually asking for the stock clock application, I was also. I pulled it out of ed2 deodexed I believe, it is attached and needs to be installed via CWR. It worked for me.
Perfect! Thank you guys. I really like that app. Timer for when cooking food, alarm, etc all in one.
Once i download this then what? Put on SD card? The .apk file.

You need to have Clockwork Mod Recovery installed. Boot into recovery, choose install zip, choose the zip file and install it.
I meant the samsung weather.apk not the clock.zip. The former file isn't in zip form.

ok so I downloaded the samsung weather/clock.apk file, found it in root explorer, moved it to system/app folder, rebooted, tried to install and no go. Is there a step with the permissions I'm missing? If so what should be checked in the permissions box. It's not really a big deal with this particular file but I'd like to know for future files.
Thanks, stranula for posting the Clock.zip. I was looking for it, too.
Installed through CWR, it opens fine, but the FCs about 5-10 seconds later...doesn't let me Add Alarm. Any ideas? I did try install and uninstall.

*should work with EVERY ROM! *
https://www.box.net/shared/cd113rdnixyk4krdh7ic
★★ Edit ★★
Use Google music or other music player app! The stock HTC music player disables DSP if you change the EQ mode in the HTC stock music player. Google music gives you a sweet option when pressing menu also quick access to DSP.
*****People are saying this only works with CM sources. It works on sense Roms unless they have CM sources which I doubt they do*****
Thanks.. been looking for a dspmanager that works on cool3d AceS Rom on
HTC desire.
The ones I found tended to need libs placed in various places and would
either not work or send in to a bootloop.
This works straight off, no extras needed
Also integrates fully with Google music 3.0, click menu then the sound effects
button and it gives the dsp settings.. great stuff.
Edit... Oh you already mentioned the integration.. teach me to read before
posting.
