My Samsung Captivate use froyo now, but after i fixed lag, i don't know why music can't play without headphone. i mean when i was trying play music or video with the phone, there was no sound. However, when i plugged the headphone into the Captivate, the music is started to play by the Captivate but not the from the headphone. After that, the music was completely stopped if i pulled out the headphone, anybody know this problem and how to fix it?
I'm not a Native English Speaker, so i'm sorry for any mistake. Any help or support will be appreciated !

Hi all,
I updated to the new .13 firmware yesterday. Everything seems fine except one little problem. The audio output sometimes just don't obey the headphone jack status. There was one time audio was playing through both the speakers and the headphone. Also, after a long sleep, there is no audio output.
Sometimes the music app plays music on it own, or stop music on it own. Really annoying bug.
Does anyone experience similar hick up?
Thanks
I just updated my dock firmware and also don't have any audio coming out if the speakers. I've yet to try a reboot because I'm about to pass out lol...but hopefully Asus knows and will put a fix out soon

having the same problem with my system after the update, keyboard/keypad/wifii work well, but low audio or no audio at times.
I'm using earphones for the first time on p6200. I've tried with Samsung galaxy S factory model while watching movies but I have a problem. The tone is funny, I'm hearing some tones ok, like gunshot and car engine but people talking is bad or no tone at all. I think that it has something to do with 5.1 sound because sound of camera mp4 clips is ok. On tab speakers sound is ok. Is there some settings to fix this and is this problem only with this model earphones? Maybe if I change them...
Thanks.
Came home and tried original sgt+ and some PC Skype earphones. Works without mistake, sgs don't. Problem solved.
A buddy of mine who just got a VZW S3 and is not too technical when it comes to phones/gadgets has an issue with the Samsung Music Player starting via Bluetooth every time he gets in his car. I did some brief searching in the forums, but couldn't find anything specific to the S3. I apologize if I missed the solution in a previous thread. Here is his question that he sent me:
"I just recently bought a new car that has the bluetooth capability so I can play music from my S3 (verizon) without the need for an iPod. I use the Google Play Music app when I listen to music on my phone, but as you know, there is another Samsung proprietary music player on the phone called "Music Player."
Problem is, whenever my phone connects to my car via bluetooth, the car starts playing the music from the Samsung Music Player rather than Google Play Music even if I last used the Google Play Music to listen on my car. I know it's not an issue with my car because it happens in my brother's Ford truck, too. Does anyone know how to fix the player it uses by default?"
Thanks very much

Thanks again!
Hello.
I have a problem- when I connect the headphones, sometimes music player begins to trigger music. It's happening only on connected headphones and ROMs higher than 4.1. I have now http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2530073. Can somebody help me?
I'm sorry for my english.
A couple of days ago, when i would plug my headsets into my phone, my audio would still play out my speakers. Now the only way to play music through my headsets is to restart my phone, but when someone calls, i can't use my headsets anymore. I'm running jellybean 4.1. I already replaced my audio jack & it's still not working; has anyone else had this issue & if so did you ever fix it?
