I want to update my phone (htc aria ) from 2.1 to 2.2 with htc Sence, and since i have an asain rom atm and i want a normal english rom, what rom do i flash???
Hence this comes up is because I tried to update my htc via air and it downloads the asian patch then proceeds to install it, then fails ( shows up with a big fat "!" ina triangle, and from what i understand its possibly doing this as i have rooted my phone??

If you want HTC Sense, then Liberated FR008 is the one you'll want to install.

After playing with almost all custom ROMs i decided that i want the stock experience...and there is the main problem. I tried ROMs from Shiped Roms (Bravo) but they dont work (error saying that i have to find ROM for my device, and on the Desire in recovery it says that the Main version installed is newer than the one i want to install (2.10***)...My Desire is from Tele2, basically stock ROM, nonbranded, unlocked so i donnt need goldcard...but i do need ROM that i cann put on him and put him back to the state how i bought it...any ideas?

any way. i have nexus one rooted with (MoDaCo Custom ROM for Nexus One - Froyo FRF91) i wanted to go back to original room, then root it and just play with it.
i am one of this peoples ho likes get himself in kind of truble. -)))
any way make a long story short i tried to instal almost every rom i came across including from HTC developer center for nexus one, but it didn't work, it just wont install. also tried FRG83D (Geo 411m). just dont make any sense to me, why i could install OTA rom and it installed custom without any problems.

reason why i wana go back to OTA rom be coz i get fed up with update notification wich i cant install, and cant delete from my phone application (Wave secure)wich came with rom and starts with phone after reboot. another reason why i wana change my rom be coz my phone gets frezen and some time dont responds on security pattern.
plz if any one can give me direct link to place i can download original rom or bes if original rom already rooted. i am not beeng lazy i spend today already min6 hours on internet and just cant get it.

can someone help me i bought an HTC Tattoo mobile phone and i got it with cyangenmod-kalimginger.10.12-rc0-clik-kang rom installed now i would like to know how can i return its original android 1.6 rom, i tried downloading som 1.6 roms and when i reboot and and try to install it gives me an error about some scripting version not right, the phone has some gingerbread recovery tools, my biggest problem is that the camera does not work.
Hi. I've have rooted my sensation in September, 2 weeks after i got it. I then tried to install this rom and it never worked so i restored it over and over every time it didn't worked. Then i restored it and gave up. I just checked a HTC update and it says that there is one. I want to update and i download it. Then it asks to install and when it does, it turns off my phones which i know its meant to do, and then instead of installing, it shows a warning sign (big green triangle thing). I've tried this, again, many times. If I can't update this small update, what am I meant to do when Android 4.0 is released?
I realized that it might be because i've rooted so I want to go back to stock with no root and no nothing (of course backing up my system data and user apps). what should I do? Android 4.0 is the main thing so what should I do? How can i update my sensation and ensure that I can update to andoird 4.0 and how should I do it?
I could install a ROM later or do something like that. or go back to stock. whats the best thing to do that will ensure my phone is fast and reliable (and not force closing htc sense almost everytime i exit an app or something.
if you suggest a rom, which should I use thats stylish but fast and reliable?

If you mean what custom Rom to install then ARHD ,pyramid3d,insert coin and miui ,take your pick .if I got your question right.CDs devs most possibly they will have ice android 4 sooner then the official vendor release .

never mind, i've decided to use a custom rom as its obviously the better option. Android 4.0 should hopefully come along later.

Im quite new to android and new to Rooting,
I have a HTC Sensation XE, Rooted (With stock 2.3.4 android and stock 3.0 Sense) and I have Clockwork Recovery installed.
Every time I try to upgrade to Android 4.0 with either the Phone Update Service or a custom ROM my phone will either freeze or go into a loop of the HTC Screen followed by the Beats Screen. I have tried with and without the PG58IMG.zip on the SD but I just can't seen to get anywhere...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
