Hy,
After playing with almost all custom ROMs i decided that i want the stock experience...and there is the main problem. I tried ROMs from Shiped Roms (Bravo) but they dont work (error saying that i have to find ROM for my device, and on the Desire in recovery it says that the Main version installed is newer than the one i want to install (2.10***)...My Desire is from Tele2, basically stock ROM, nonbranded, unlocked so i donnt need goldcard...but i do need ROM that i cann put on him and put him back to the state how i bought it...any ideas?
I tried to install this rom on my EU HD2, but with no luck. I used V8 without any problems. Is there something I did wrong? I use MAGLDR 1.13 and USB flasher and run DAF. The phone never got over the HTC logo. Is there anyone that can help me?
I had a ROM for the HTC Desire installed and I wiped it to install a new ROM. Which didnt take, I kept getting an error message in the ROM installer. I took out the battery and kept trying til it fully installed but I posed with another problem, the touch screen no longer worked ( I also had trouble with while running the Android ROM but I could get it to work most of the time.). I only like to NAND installs as I only have 2GB SD cards (2) which are full as is. I would like to install the stock ROM but it wont download for me or I would like to install a better working ROM.
Everytime I try to install a ROM I get the same error messages in the ROM installer. How can I fix this and get a working ROM (whether it be Stock or otherwise) installed on to it?
(HTC HD2 T-Mobile)
Edit: Got the original ROM on but touch screen still not working. I have found out it could be the Digitizer, is there a way to fix this without sending it to HTC because I got mine from a friend (pretty much brand new) so the phone it not registered to me, only the sim card is.
hello, i've tried upgrading to 2.2 firmware for htc g1, so i followed some steps at a couple of youtube videos, also at some xda forums and downgraded my htc g1 1.6 to 1.0 in order to root it and upgrade to 2.2, but it had some problems and didn't work. Afterwards i upgraded to 1.5 cupcake version of g1 but now since i found new ways to upgrade to 2.2-2.3 firmware, i need 1.6 firmware on g1 in order to do that. there lies the problem, htc g1 doesn't want to upgrade to 1.6, i have tried many ways to do it, bootloader gives me a message with "no file image" and "serial0" and the other way of installing the package through home+power button option gives me an error on the update.zip file. is there any other way to go on 1.6 at least? i'm not asking for more than that, just to have the g1 back to 1.6, Thank you!
