[Update 29/06]Magic-Porting SuperHeroV2 by Fatal1ty2787 & NK02 & zazy improvement!
This is just a porting of the SuperHeroV2 ROM,
all the credit goes to the developers of the ROM
(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=524744)
Just rename it update.zip, and flash it...
We are trying to work on this rom too, so maybe will follow some updates!

In this release you'll find:
1. Bluetooth fix
2. QuickOffice
3. The Exchange sync (it was already fixed, i just included the missing package)
4. Added Swapper to gain some (many!) UI performances
5. Removed some HTC clock widget skins (needed more room in the system partition, sorry)
6. Removed the boot-time sound (at least until volume will be fixed... it's too loud)
7. Fatal1ty2787 "integrity" has been restored

in the market there is an app for that. just search for hero
are ther any problems with wifi?
because the original V2 rom can be installed on magic too, but only with not working wifi.
i cant load this version. only loop after install...

This ROM is fully working (excepting for bluetooth and staus led), try wiping and reflashing it...

ii wiped and reflashe 3 times now. with the same result.
the original V2 works, but without wlan.
(is apps2sd needed for this version?
i have a 2 gb ext2 partition.)

This rom is awesome.
I've found theese problems:
a) Bluetooth not working
b) Exchange options seems not to work
c) Can't change lock wallpaper
d) Missing HTC WIDGETS like weather and stock
e) g-sensor calibrate not work
f) On downloading market apps, the graphic indicator before downloading begins, seems to be messed

Wow this is the fastest Hero build I've tried yet, even runs stable with Rosie and a few widgets!!! Big thanks to Diaztradeinc, Jrbourque and l3wish for creating and to Fatal1ty2787 and NK02 for porting to Magic so we can enjoy.
Things I have noticed:
After receiving a call the scroll ball on my phone keeps flashing!
No Mail.apk.. I resolved this by pushing Mail.apk from another Hero build
This last one is purely personal opinion but I prefer the original Hero colour sceme/theme. Does anyone know how to revert to it.
None of the above are complaints, just observations.

Tested and a great rom, but i use Bluetooth a lot so gone back to ION rom for now.

the rom CAN be flashed over nightlys. i would suggest wiping with anything else but i have only tested over a 2week old nightly so have at it, its worth it

im new on CM6 rom and i really like your job, but question im running the regular rom, can i flash it over, or i need to wipe everithing, aslo im ussing snap 7.6 with turbo can i keep ussing this

Since there is some differences in the framework, you may want to wipe everything to make sure you get a clean slate. Also, if you decide not to wipe data, make sure you flash your snap kernel while in recovery.

so if you are changing CM6 completelly why not use the stock htc rom as a base so that 4g/HDMI/Radio work.

1. i changed the looks not the functionality
2. i dont have 4g where i live
3. i dont need a fm radio on my phone
4. hdmi would be nice but if i could get it i dont think there would still be a $1000+ bounty on the feature
5. maybe you could give it a try,you probably know more than me anyway

Re-downloading and gonna give it another spin. You have this set exactly how i want it. It will be nice to have a completey themed rom to just flash and go!

list your procedures please and kernel or no kernel as well, i will help you guys get it. be patient and thanks.
if you have a nandroid of a nightly handy restore it and flash the rom over it and lemme know if that works for you. that will tell me.

The hulu app is not working for me. Keeps saying that the platform is not supported. Do I need to change the flash version to the hulu compatible one?
By the way, the rom is working great for me. Came from the CM 9/14 nightly with standard kernel. Thank you!

ok, you may need to reinstall the special flash inside for hulu. use root exp and go into system/app and re-install the adobe 10.1xxx apk. not sure why it didnt install for you, but that should fix the issue youre describing. sometimes i had to do that after flashing new nightlies.

i dont use anything other than cm6. nightlies preferred. seems pps not coming from nightly or cm6 are having the issues. if you dont mind could you flash or restore a nightly before flashing and post your results so pps coming from fresh can know what to do. thanks. i'll be here to help if you have issues but i can gurantee that will work.

sent you a pm. Basic stuff, came from 6.0.0, wiped everything via amon at least 3 times apiece, then flashed the rom, rebooted.....fruitloops. went back to recovery, wiped x3 flashed rom, flashed snap, rebooted....fruitloops. went back to recovery, wiped x3 flashed latest nightly, and all is well. I will be flashing this rom again over the nightly without a data wipe to see how it goes. If i flash the blueberry theme over any of the last 2 nightly's i get the same bootloops!

[Rom Add-On] Performance Pack For V1.08 Firmware

Hi All.
Edit: Do not use with v1.09 firmware, it is not compatible
I have been looking at the gtab update and it appears that most of the tegra drivers have not been updated with v1.08. I have remade the pack for that firmware. The quadrant score remains the same at 2400+ but i have noticed a big improvement in the overall smoothness of the device. Games like angry birds and 8ball seem to play smoother. Also, it might be me but iplayer also looks better. Please try it out and report any feedback.
I have packaged it as a update.zip so it can easily be installed on any os. Clockwork Mod is not required.
Install Instructions:
1 - Download Performance_packv1.08.rar parts 1 and 2 and unzip them (you only need to open one of them), Copy peformancev1.08_update.zip from the performance folder, and place on sdcard of device.
2 - Navigate to settings/software tool, and browse to Performancev1.08_update.zip.
3 - Run the update, the device will reboot and a "out of the box android" will appear, after the device will reboot.
4 - Check the pack has installed by navigating to settings/about Device, under the model there should be "performance pack".
Please make sure you have sufficient power to apply pack, i would recommend 50%
You will not lose any of your apps/data from this process.
Sorry for the 2 .rar parts, its the only way to fit it onto site.

That was reported in my earlier performance pack. It does not appear to affect other games, and the overall speed increase more than makes up for it. Maybe it will be fixed from updates for the pool game.

Applied the pack and it it seems to have made things quicker. However, I'm starting to get random screen corruption. Horizontal lines are appearing. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

The graphical glitches are a problem of the v1.08 rom, i got them before i made the performance pack. I also get them in v1.09 just not as bad.

You need to re-flash the official v1.09 firmware. Hold down the power button for 6 sec. Then plug device into power and connect to pc with usb. Hold down the back button for 2 sec then while still holding back push the power button for 2 secs, hold the back button for further 2 secs. A new device will pop up in your hardware manager under usb. Then run the stock v1.09 rom. Hope you backed up your applications with the software tool in settings.
You dont need this performance pack with v1.09.

No performance pack is needed with v1.09. Its faster than v1.08.

v1.10 definately does not get the lines, I thought I was imagining them until just now, so I may well have to put my graohics module back to stock 1.10 from the myadventvega rom. Thanks for the pack, and where the hell is the thanks button, it won't let me thank you...

Yes, this IS a stupid question.
NO, it will NOT work with VegaICS and has nothing to do with VegaICS or any custom ROM.
This is purely for STOCK v1.08 firmware (Android OS v2.2 - Froyo).

hahaha...I'm one of the many po' po' slobs that don't have S-OFF yet, but I must say the name of this ROM is most amusing! I hope to be able to try it soon.

thats my family i am working on an update that will bring CRT animation and bring back the lockscreen (could not use Caller ID with this current one. Should be later tonight for 1.1

Ok installed rom on my s-off and I get all the way through the setup wizard and it crashes. I can't go any further and no home screen loads.
I have wiped and reflashed and wiped after and still I can't get past the force close.

Weird it should have launched pro init just double checked it. What version do you have try a redownload try again unfortunately I won't be around a pc until tomorrow

Try it again Make sure that you get a good download. I tried it on a new phone and it works just fine for me. Verfy the MD5 (which i added) and try again.

[ROM][3/31/13]|TouchCream 2.1 DS-Port|AOKP/SGS3 Hybrid *Team S.W.a.R.M.*

This is not by any means a complete ROM, More SGS3 stuff will be added afterwards. When it is......this port will be updated as well.
I was thinking, and thinking, and then, the thought struck me: The smoothness of Touchwiz, without Touchwiz icons etc.

How to install ?
Download ROM
Download Gapps: http://tinyw.in/Ko5N
Boot into recovery
Nandroid, Nandroid, NANDROID!!!
Wipe data/factory reset if required
Install TouchCream v2.1.zip from sdcard
Install gapps.zip from sdcard
Wipe Cache And Dalvik
Fix permissions
Reboot (first boot might take a while)
Let the ROM settle for 5 minutes, without touching your phone
Reboot and set up your phone
Enjoy!

TIPS:
In 2.1 and up, for the full TouchWiz Experience, go to themes in the settings, apply TouchWiz Theme and reboot
Issues:
At the moment, the only issues found are the soft keyboard & home key not functioning properly. That should be resolved very quickly though with appropriate patches posted soon.

This Download Has Been Updated to Include the KB Lights Fix I Promised. Just Format System Under "Mounts & Storage" & Semi-Dirty Flash over the top of Your Nandroid OR Just Do a Fresh Install.

Would You? I can't tell you how much I'd appreciate that. Right at the moment I'm trying to get the LGE 3.0 Launcher running for ShiftyBastard.
The lights & physical KB should be the same edits I think Matt but it's the HomeKey that's gone wonky on us this time.
DUH!!....I MEANT SOFT keyboard.

dont know about home key but does long pressing home open the app-switcher? also in settings (maybe rom control) there should be an option labeled hardware buttons and you should be able to set a custom action for your home key. i will get the modified framework up that fixes the soft keyboard shortly!

The flash didn't work for me Matt but I'm going to try a direct install in a bit. As for the homekey, I'm getting no response at all from it. We'll get it though.....
I'm afraid replacing the file & reflashing didn't do it either Matt. straaaaange.......

may have a fix for home key not working. when you flashed rom did you flash gapps at the same time? here is my suggestion: flash rom (after correctly wiping), reboot,reboot BACK to recovery, flash gapps, reboot. maybe it will fix your button problem

Great Rom, very fast.
But I think the battery consumption is big then at other ROMS.
What do U think about this?

In additional, the light of hardware keyboard doesn't work. Have this bug someone else?

Sorry. It's a known bug I just haven't had time to address. I've been very busy from work along with some unforeseen family issues as well.

A new download has been used to replace the original one in the OP that has this issue resolved. Sorry it took SO long.
