I have a Sprint Nexus S 4G and a Samsung Galaxy Nexus Verizon. I absolutely cannot get the USB drivers working on Windows 7 64 ever since I upgraded both to Jelly Bean 4.1.1.
I have installed the latest Google USB Drivers (revision 7). I have also tried to find drivers directly on Samsungs website. I found download pages for both phones but it only listed manuals for download. No drivers.
I have also installed this: ADB/FB/APX Naked Driver: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766220
When either phone is plugged in, I get the taskbar popup saying that the USB Device was not Recognized. I can see in the Device Manager under Universal Serial Bus controllers that "Unknown Device" is there, with a yellow exclamation mark. It goes away when I unplug the phone, so this is what shows up for either phone when I plug them in.
I have right-clicked the device in the Device Manager and went Properties > Driver > Uninstall and remove the device's driver. Then re-plugged in the device, then going back to Device Manager > Unknown Device > Update Driver Software > Browse my computer for driver software and then pointed it to either the Google USB Driver or the Naked Drivers from above. Both result in the message:
Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date. Unknown Device.
I have restarted my computer. There are no other devices in the device manager with exclamation marks. I have tried multiple USB ports.
I used to have the drivers working fine a couple months ago when I was running Ice Cream Sandwich.
Does anyone have any clue what I should do next?

If you would read my original post you will see that I have two phones: A Nexus S Sprint 4G and a Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I have the same problem with both phones. I am guessing I have a driver issue, so if I solve it for one it will probably solve it for the other.
Any help or direction you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Try the pda net software by June fabrics worked for me on win xp and Windows 7 x64

It may be a driver issue. If you want to try, download Android Flash Recovery ( link in my signature ). It also contains a driver installer for these devices. The only reason I'm saying this is because I know those drivers work with these devices. I am running Windows 7 64 bit too There are also detailed instructions on how to properly install the drivers.
I think that installing the driver we use for rooting our phone will solve the problem

This is the process that worked with my phone, first uninstall all of the drivers, then reboot the computer, then install the driver, but don't connect your phone, afterwards boot manually into fasboot and connect it to the computer, let the driver install...
Does it worked?

Do you have generic Android drivers installed from the Android SDK? From your screen shot in post #6, and your last screen shot, your device is not identifying itself correctly or you have driver collusion. When the 'Searching for Drivers' window pops up the first item should say "LGE Android USB ???", "???" is cause I don't remember the rest
I'm beginning to think you may have multiple "Android" drivers installed, thus the problem. Generic Android USB drivers as well as the LG Android drivers. Uninstall all of them. Reboot your PC. Run the LGE Driver Setup program and let it do its thing. Reboot your PC. Power off your device, trust me. Plug your USB cable into the PC first. Now plug the other end in to your device. Power on the device. Hopefully this will get you headed in the right direction.
Hi, I am trying to root my phone, but Odin doesn't detect the phone. I am running Windows 8. Is there something I should do to prepare for this?

Well, the computer detects it if that's what you're asking. Are there better drivers?
I just googled sgh t699 driver and the first result was samsung support for the relay. It had a link to download the driver installer. After installing the driver odin should detect the phone.
Yesterday the official 4.2.2 update came out in Holland so today I tried to update my phone with Kies.
When my S2 Plus entered download mode Windows said that it didn't recognize the device so Kies gave an error that it couldn't go into update mode because it didn't find my S2 Plus in download mode?
Anyone has a way to fix this? I run Windows 8 and just updated to the latest version of Kies.

it should have i think. but u can try reinstall back the driver, see if got any changes
1. check other usb port,
2. check other usb cable (I assume now you use original samsung ones),
3. in case drivers down work - try to force installing them (pick them manually).

Try this: http://koush.com/post/universal-adb-driver
Or if you prefer the drivers provided by Google, use this - http://developer.android.com/sdk/win-usb.html
Go to device manager click the option to see hidden drivers and delete the old adb driver then get a fresh driver like the ones that have been posted. I had a similar problem as well.
