This live wallpaper uses a specified directory/folder, and picks a random static wallpaper to each one of the home screens.
You can set how often all static wallpapers are changed automatically (1,2.. hours), you can set a type of transition (out of 10 different ones) going from a screen to a screen, and you can double click on an empty space to force changing to a random set of static wallpapers to all home screens. You can also set specific static wallpapers to specific home screens individually.
One big advantage of this live wallpaper is that it uses very little cpu. It only changes which static wallpaper is displayed in which home screen.
Combined with the free "Backgrounds" app, it allows you to set multiple static wallpapers and randomize them for each home screen, with your own choice of many thousands of static wallpapers. Other, more subtle options for changing wallpapers are also available.
Search for "MultiPicture Live Wallpaper" and "Backgrounds" in the Market!

Multipicture Live Wallpaper has been my evo's wallpaper for as long as i can remember. it's brilliantly simple and yet astoundingly configurable.
i use this as well. very cool, exactly what i wanted in a wallpaper. The creator did a great job
I think I'll bump this for other people's benefit.
I've been using this wallpaper for months, and it's by far the best one I've tried.
Combine it with an app called Background (search and download wallpapers), and it's a clear winner in my mind.
Thx for the bump....
Downloading now

I've been bugged by this for a long time now. I would like to completely disable weather animation on the Home tab, but while keeping the original wallpaper, which is just plain black.
This is not possible as you have to choose between weather and animated wallpaper...even though animated wallpaper can be a static one. You then can choose a static wallpaper from your phone or memory card. Problem is, never can you choose the original wallpaper...you always have to choose a different wallpaper.
And when choosing f.i. an all black wallpaper, it will never come out on the Home tab as nice as the original black wallpaper...it's always grainy. This is very annoying, as the weather animation is useless imo and takes far too long to end....during which everything is slowed down considerably.
I'm still hoping to find a solution to this, but so far nothing....anyone?
I have all my Widgets categorized it would be cool if we could have a live wallpaper for each page instead of for all pages like if the neural background on one then if you have a media page have it set for one of the media wallpapers and so on. You get the idea so app developers what do you think can it be done.

Having several live wallpapers all running at once would be pretty intensive and likely slow the phone to a crawl. I would, however, love to be able to set a different standard (static) wallpaper on each page or one that spans all screens like it is now except for specific screen which you can kind of layer a different one on top (maintaining the flow of the underlying one).
EDIT: Just did some searching and found that there is one that does what I want! http://www.appbrain.com/app/org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture
Maybe if you contact the developer he could find a way to let you select a live wallpaper when choosing what to show on each screen. Having all static and one live would, presumably, not have too much impact on speed even though you would technically be running a one within another
Hello!
Im trying to find any kind of live wallpaper that allows me to have changing wallpaper. Like with multipicture live wallpaper i can double tap on the wallpaper to change it, but i want one wallpaper to cover all my homescreens like they normally would, not one wallpaper for each screen.
I hope i explained well enough. Thanks.
its not a livewallpaper, but try wallswitch.

Super Under-Clocked ;-)
Or also Wallpaper Changer, you can select a folder or some wallpapers and it cycles through them, or you can tap the widget to change wallpaper.
Maybe try photowall, it gets the pictures from your sdcard or gallery + all your social media

WallMe - there's a lite and paid version. In the free version you can add three sources for the images (including online sources), not sure how many in the paid.
Double tapping brings up the wallpaper with options: settings, pause, and skip to the next image.
I think this is what you're looking for.

Wallme sounds like what Im looking for. Have to check it out.
I've tried different wallpaper changers but most of them don't have quick way to change the wallpaper. I like multipicture live wallpaper's feature to change on double tap.
Hello.
As you are aware, it is not possible to pick a wallpaper for the One S without having to fill in the left and right fields in the wallpaper picker, whereas only the center field of the actual screen resolution is used. Especially in the Jelly Bean update this is an issue, as that version doesn't even have wallpaper scrolling, therefore having to pick wallpapers with extra margin is a pain in the royal hindbody especially if the image in question isn't widescreen but rather portrait.
Is there an app to fix this behavior, e.g. to either allow for [screen resolution only] wallpaper cropping or an app that allows the same during setup, and automatically adds black borders to the left and right (since these won't be visible given the lack of scrolling wallpaper)?
I use this to apply wallpapers
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shirobakama.wallpaper&hl=en
Or you can change launcher to one that lets you change how you set a wallpaper.
So I've not had a Samsung device since the S5, is it normal that I can't have a live wallpaper from an app (Let's say liveloop) on the lockscreen and a static wallpaper as the homescreen, as far as I've tried when I set a live wallpaper and then set a static one for the home screen the lock screen wallpaper changes to the default one
Any way to get past this?
Well, they are not called live wallpapers anymore. Just called video wallpapers. I use one of the ones that come with the phone and have a static picture on my home screen. Works just fine. I have tried other video wallpapers, but could not find one I liked any better then the one it came with. You can use the theming to get wallpapers, but it will usually change a lot of other things you may not want changed. I did use theming to be able to grab a wallpaper I wanted. Revert to default and then change to the wallpaper I wanted. Good luck.

My only problem is I don't want to use a video wallpaper, if I want to use a live wallpaper from an app like Walloop I can't have it just on my lockscreen, it has to be both
Not familiar with that app, but I am an old fart that really does not do too much messing with my setup any more. Sorry. Good luck.
Yes the phone supports Live wallpapers on the lockscreen. In wallpapers and style click on my wallpapers then on the 3 dots.
How to
Install the live wallpaper app, then go to my wallpapers the three dot menu and select live wallpapers and will open where you can select the wallpapers you have installed, you can apply as lock screen and homescreen or homescreen only.
